I have tired to eat here twice. I was told they are the best in Odessa. I don't live here. I just wanted to try a good burger. Online it says 11am- 845pm. On the window it' says 11-2 then 5-830. What could improve is the lady's attitude that we just delt with today at lunch time. My friend and I went to BJ Drive-In, the lady that came to the window had a very rude disposition when she opened the little window to take our order. I have been coming here for years! It was a sad say when it caught fire and they had to shut down for a period of time. The burgers are so incredibly good here! However, since they have reopened, there is one woman who is extremely rude! I called this afternoon to order a regular cheese burger to go, she told me that they couldn't make and regular cheese burgers to which I responded "ok, I'll take a BJ burger to go and a coke please", she replied with "so you don't want anything?" and them just hung up. I drove up to the store and ordered a regular cheese burger with no issues. I don't know who this lady is, I am pretty well certain that she is the same one in the rest of the comments, but she is single handedly going to kill this business. Called in my order and was told it would be "at least 45 minutes". We ordered a large cheeseburger to share, (because I was told they are huge) and fries. I told them I wanted the meat well-done and fries crispy! I headed their way 20 minutes after the order. When I got there, which is a straight sh ot drive, my food was ready, ... but also cold. Not only that, the fries were not crispy at all and they were also cold, and the meat on the burger was not pink, but barely cooked. Def not well-done. The hamburgers and fries are as good as ever. However the customer service is lacking. I walked up to the window and the girl working was on the phone. I stood there for a minute (no one ahead of me just her on the phone) and the person cooking told her I was at the window. She's was pretty sullen but took my order. When she told me the amount was $15.25 I gave her a $20 and told her I had the $0.25. Before I could give her the quarter she said too late and made change. Kids today are not taught how to make change. She couldn't figure out that if I gave her the quarter she could give me back a five! When my number was called she handed me the sack with my hamburgers and stared to close the window. Before she closed I asked for my fries, she took the sack back slammed the window and asked for the fries. When the girl added the fries she pushed the sack out. I asked for ketchup and she threw 4 packages out on the counter. I didn't dare ask for salt or napkins. I went through the drive-thru and stayed about 5mins without anyone coming to the window. I parked and went up to the window and asked if the drive-thru was opened. The person who said she's running the business said it was opened but she was the only one there. I mentioned that it would be professional to either recognize the customer or place a sign on the window. I ordered a cheeseburger and regular fries. It was about another 25min wait. Once my food was ready, the fries were over half empty. I asked if they can be full since I paid full price. The same lady said that's all I could get. I requested a refund because of the poor service and she refused saying, "I don't run my business like that." The burger I received was burnt and I threw it in the trash. I tried to reason with the manager/owner, but she ignored me. I trilled that she would hear from me again. She smiled and said, "I am all right with that!" My card was charged $11.21.
