Located in a portion of a Shell gas station, this is a standard Whataburger. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even though we arrived at a weird off-hour time, they got our order done quickly. The ambiance is a bit lacking, but hey, it's part of a quick in and out roadside experience. Parking was odd as people were driving around pumps to park, but there were ample spots. Extremely rude staff. Didnt get 3+ things we ordered and the manager seemed angry and didnt say a single word the entire time.

Stopped by for breakfast today before the lobby was open and the drive thru lady was super rude. Once we figured out what we wanted, we said ok we're ready and she said ,"I told you to order when you're ready". We had to ask her twice to repeat our order because she mumbled it off so fast. Every time I get the honey bbq chicken sandwhich and order some other sauce to go with the honey bbq they don't add any honey bbq and just add the other sauce I didn't remove anything from it. Not a whole lot I can say about this Whataburger. This location is not a stand alone restaurant but is conjoined with a convenience store. I had stopped here to get some lunch since and for a pit stop since I was on a road trip. I had my typical #5 and the burger was definitely as fresh and tasty as any Whataburger locations I'd been to, and the service was quick since this particular location was pretty empty. Food was horrible, service was not much better. $16.00 and a 10 minute wait then could not eat the food. Bacon Egg and cheese biscuit was so salty and over cooked it was pitiful. Coffee was not good. Hash browns were the best thing in the meal. We were dine in and our food set in the to go window for probably most of the ten minutes that we waited and we had to go ask where our food was or we might have still been sitting there. Restaurant was not clean looking either. We will not eat here again. read more

Whataburger is attached to the Check Point convenience store & Shell gas station. The menu selection has a nice variety and affordable. The servers were polite, fast and friendly. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich and my son devoured two cheeseburgers. Dine in or carryout. Good, fast food. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Whataburger as I've lived in Texas all my life, but this is by far the WORST Whataburger ever. If you're going here, I'd get something from the attached gas station instead. The food is good, I will admit, but the service is TERRIBLE. We payed for buffalo sauce with chicken strips and we didn't get it, showed the worker and she said that it was 86 cents even though WE ALREADY PAID. Plus, they forgot to add ketchup to my burger (whatever, everyone makes mistakes), so I went to add their ketchup on my own, which I needed a knife to spread. The woman rudely rolled her eyes and said, "here" in an annoyed and angered tone. While we were there, we obviously weren't the only one with issues, because many people kept sending their orders back because they were wrong. This one woman stayed there waiting on two medium fries and a chicken sandwich for THIRTY MINUTES when we were way behind her in line and ordered a ton for four people. The poor woman kept asking them and the same woman got angry and told her she would be working on it while rolling her eyes. The service sucks and the tables are VERY dirty and no one is every cleaning them. The 7/11 next door is very nice though, I would buy from them anytime. Wish I could give this Whataburger zero stars which sucks because this has always been my favorite fast food. Hope their manager and staff see this and fix it. read more

Whataburger is Whataburger -- its a fast food joint not fine dining. That said for being a 24-Hour Business in a one-stop-light town it could be much worse. Bathrooms are cleaner than average for a fast food restaurant and the dining room is in good condition. Food is served warm and quickly. There is also a drive-thru window. Filthy bathroom and an automatic sink faucet was continually running...and that was the highlight. The employees did not seem to be too happy to be employed-no one greeted, repeated the orders back or thanked any of the customers (that I saw). The nicest one of the group took my order, but told me I would not be allowed to order the Whataburger the way I have ordered thw burger at dozens of other locations because the computer would not allow her to substitute the large cheese for a small cheese. The lady who brought my order out to me did not have the condiment tray our and as I was askimg her about the tray she trined around and walked away. Then, because they require to charge for a .50 sauce, wouldn't let me pay with my debit card because it doesn't meet some arbitrary 1.00 threshold. Food is cold in three minutes, Fries are served old especiallly late night orders. The only good thing are the drinks and spicy ketchup. Mistakes in your order are made often. Customer service is good but not always friendly. So sad that its the only fast food here. Most expensive fast food. Helllo, lets bring in a Jack in the Box or better yet Subway. read more

There were mistakes in every single portion of my order. The cashier automatically upgraded both of the meals to larges and when I asked for a smaller size for my two year old, she gave me a smaller cup but still charged me for the large. My son's "grilled cheese" sandwich was two cold pieces of cheese slapped on some mushy bread. My son wouldn't even touch it. The fries were hard and cold. There was a crispy, black, burnt onion ring in with the onion rings. It was disgusting. I ordered a a burger with cheese and no onions and the cashier stated that it didn't come with onions. When I got the burger, there was no cheese and so many onions that I couldn't eat the burger. To resolve the issue, the cashier took a slice of cheese out of the fridge and just placed it on the burger. I could not be any more unhappy with my lunch. I will never be going to Whataburger again! read more
