Hungout at this Whataburger many times in my youth. When I visited home recently, I stopped here on my way in to have lunch with an old friend. This Whataburger acts like a beacon of familiarity and comfort for me when I come home. Being a corporate Whataburger, everything was standardized, and I had no issues. Clean dining room, clean bathroom, friendly service, full ketchup bar coming right to me during the food delivery to my table. No issues. And the food. It was amazing as always. These burgers are big, but not too big. They're juicy and meaty and the toppings add in a good, fresh, veggie bite, covered in cheese of course. Overall, no issues. I truly can't imagine how this place stays in business. The burgers are mediocre best absolutely nothing special the fries mediocre and cold during a busy time. They had orders before me. They had orders after me and yet the fries are cold. The floor is covered in grease be careful because you might just land on the floor because the amount of grease that is on it clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. This was genuinely the best burger I've ever had in my 22 years of life. The chef (didn't catch his name but had a mullet and tattoos) was beyond accommodating especially to my need for crispy bacon. He literally was present at the register while I was ordering and asked me to specify exactly how crispy I wanted my bacon. Words cannot express how much I appreciated that. He also got us napkins. It's a fast food burger joint, so I think it's silly when people have such extreme expectations for a fast food joint! The food is good when it's good, just like everything else. Eat too much, it's too much. Eat too little, it's amazing. I will say the biggest thing I'd recommend getting are their onion rings and the malt shakes! The onion rings are soooooo goood. Too good to share! I do enjoy their burgers and melts, but sometimes it can be too heavy on the stomach. Still good though! The service at the counter is always great and appreciated! This review is for the restaurant located in Milton, Florida. Food is always great, hot, and freshly prepared. The restaurant is always very clean, and the people working there are almost always very friendly. Having said that... We went for lunch today. Decided to go through the drive-thru and bring it back home to eat. It took 30 minutes - give or take 3 minutes - to get through the drive-thru. From the moment we got in line, to the time we got our food, a total of 5 vehicles (including ours) moved from ordering to the pickup window. Not sure what's going on, but it seems to be getting slower and slower. I'm a big fan of Whataburger, but I may have to go to a different "FAST FOOD" place for burgers and fries so I can get home before my lunch hour is over. read more

I gave up on whataburger some time ago. I ate at one and it was bad and made me feel ill. I tried this one and it is good. reminds me of what burgers used to taste like when I was young. (long time ago) I have read some of these other reviews and I wonder what their expectations are. It's fast food and these are on it. Hot, freshly prepared. I love this place great food and you don't have to wait that long for your food if you go inside and they get through the lines pretty fast and at night time even when they are packed you won't even spend 20 minutes waiting. Never go to this place unless you want to have the staff tell you your order. I use to go here very often but I will not be returning anytime soon. The staff is awful. You tell them an order that is on the menu and they say we cannot give you that order. Then you drive up to the window and show them a previous receipt with the same items and they say well we will do it but only this time. Then when you get your order it is not even what you asked for originally. The staff likes to argue with the customers rather than honor their requests. Save yourself some trouble and indigestion that goes along with an augmentative staff. Go someplace else where they know how to properly treat customers. read more

The drive-through Associate named "D" doesn't seem fit to be work the drive-through as seen "D" dosent have hospitality or manners to customers or his associates, when an associate of his was trying to use the computer that was next to him he bucked up at her and made some foul faces as-well. Zero stars but will not let you rate this with zero. I am a veteran and ordered my food and when I started to pay the server saw my military ID and said oh you get a discount. Received my meal and went to the booth and after a few minutes the server who was the assistant manager came to the booth and said he was wrong and Whatabuger only gives police and firefighters a discount. He said next time there would be no discount for military. Sorry but if you did not have the military you would not have police or a firefighter! I ordered 3 meals all with milkshakes. Second time I've ever had Whataburger and it will be my last. The tomatoes on the burger were smooshed. The chicken sandwich was so dry and over cooked it wasnt eatable, I threw the whole thing away. Shakes were really thick and needed a spoon not a straw. I went the other day to redeem the "free" Whataburger that I scored by filling out an excruciatingly-long survey on-line after I got a receipt for the offer at the Gregory St. location. I didn't see a single fly the entire time that I was there. Yay! It was mid- or early-afternoon when I visited. That was a welcome omission from my usual experience here. Friendly, incredibly helpful staff, as is usual at most Whataburger locations. The manager was running around and busy, and that matters. When managers hide, employees tend to get slack about service and politeness. This place doesn't need to worry about that. [The following has nothing to do with this location, but is a bug that affects Whataburger in general. I still have to say it, though.] My "free" Whataburger, which was awarded to me after a lengthy (maybe 15-20 minutes spent on-line) survey came with some qualifiers. I had to buy a medium fries and a medium drink. I also wanted to add a slice of cheese. That "free" Whataburger? Yeah, it cost me exactly $4.60. I could easily and justifiably insert expletives here to describe my sentiments. That is frackin' stupid. Never again, Whataburger...never again. Kiss my grits, my toes, and my ass. The burger was great, the fries were hot and crispy, and the drink was...wet and cold, but when it was all said and done, my "free" Whataburger ended up saving me maybe $1, after providing substantial, no-lie, actually FREE marketing data. I am actually less inclined to visit Whataburger again due to this subterfuge and bullshit. My receipt clearly showed the $3.09 being subtracted from my total bill, but I still had to pay $4.60. So the normal price would have been (3.09+4.60=) $7.69 for what I had? Of course not. They have a meal deal for such a combination. I stood there and looked at the menu and couldn't divine where those combos are located or how much they cost, but I *know* that they're on the menu board at the drive-thru. So yeah, this visit was four stars because of the lack of the usual fly swarms, but Whataburger just lost a fan due to the laughable promotion of their "free" Whataburger. This was my first trip to Whataburger. Loved the jalapeño burger! Fries were okay but not spectacular. The sweet tea was just right (for my taste). Most places I have to mix in some unsweetened tea to get it right. Most of the tables were dirty but I guess that is to be expected during the busy lunch hours. The staff were very friendly! Whataburger is great I love eating there, I get it a lot. But I do have some problems. The drive thru is terrible, it takes forever to get one order of food, or even being in the second lane takes a good 5 mins before even getting my drink and paying. Another problem I have is the fries on certain days. Sometimes they are cooked hot and fresh, others they are cold and stiff and that's just nasty.
