Scheduled a curbside pickup and was brought my order in less than 3 minutes of arrival by the store manager. However, they mistakenly given me a Peach Refresher instead of a Peach Malt. The manager immediately apologized, quickly made a Peach Malt, and gave me the Peach Refresher for free. When I landed at Houston Hobby Airport, I asked my daughter, who lives in League City, which famous Texas fast-food restaurant I should try. She immediately recommended Whataburger. We went through the drive-thru and ordered a two-patty burger meal for each of us, along with a kids' meal with chicken tenders for my granddaughter. When we got home and opened our meals, I was surprised by how large and heavy the burger was! I ate half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner. The burger was delicious, with juicy, flavorful meat, and the fries were fresh and crispy. Staff were nice and professional. The staff was really nice but the manager, NICK I was able to record a video of him yelling at the staff. They were helping the customers that were literally waiting for service and he kept rolling his eyes and telling them to go somewhere else but there is a whole ass line waiting for help and she was just trying to help while there is 10 other people in the window that can take care of whatever he was asking her to do. It's really hard working with hostile environments, that was so uncomfortable to watch and unnecessary and managers should have more respect for their staff. I used to get off work every day after a very long days work and I would always order the same thing; a Number 3 with a Strawberry Shake. I can not count how many times I have been charged for 2 drinks, charged for 6 things of cheese and charged for fries I was never given, it is very disappointing, and it's not worth hassling over it when I find out on my receipt because I always order at midnight. I've gone to this location for over 8 years now and have yet to get a correct curbside order. There's always SOMETHING wrong. Often times I get it on my break and have no time to call to get it replaced, but this last time it was so wrong I just HAD call. Whataburger is a Texas tradition. It was also recently voted the best fast-food burger in the USA beating both In-N-Out and Five Guys. I find the burgers at this location to be made fresh. Also important, they are made correctly. My favorite is the Patty Melt. It is a burger made with 2 patties with grilled onions, Monterey Jack cheese, the their creamy pepper sauce. It is delicious but has over 900 calories. My wife and I will often split it. Also, a little known fact, you can order the smaller version with one patty which is less expensive and not on the menu. The employees here are friendly and do get your food to you quickly. Remember, everything is fresh so they are slower than McDonald's. However, that's where the comparison ends. Enjoy your burger. I like this location. The only down side is their drive thru ALWAYS has a line wrapped around the building. And if you decide to take the chance and sit in the line you will likely be there for 20 minutes. Try to order ahead on the app or just go elsewhere if you're in a rush. read more

We LOVE Whata! Haha my kids go-to place, we missed it so much living in South FL. This location is awesome! Friendly faces and they will make custom orders. We ordered an off the menu Monterrey Chicken Strip sandwich and they hooked us up! Really appreciated it because they were slammed and still did it for us. For the first time ever, I believe, Whataburger has truly let me down. Now this is probably specific to the Whataburger in League City at 646 and I-45. Today there was a very bad fire in League City. At least four different fire departments were called in to help fight this fire. When I got off work I went to Whataburger. There was a lady in front of me who was ordering 100 Whataburgers and 100 medium fries for the firefighters. Myself and another gentleman encourage her to approach the manager for some sort of discount. And he refused. They even had the audacity to say we give discounts to schools. I'm generally very fond of Whataburger's grub--taquitos and burgers especially. I used to stop by this location for taquitos and coffee nearly every morning, but I scratched this place from my routine some time ago. I noticed over time that the wait times in the mornings kept getting longer and longer. Then I noticed that there would usually be at least one issue with my order, i.e. something would be missing or not prepared correctly. The final straw was broken when my drinks started being botched. Tepid coffee and fountain drinks that are 90% ice are dealbreakers for me. Management needs to get some higher quality people to staff this place. No one wants to have his food prepared by someone who looks like he's four days into a five-day bender, especially when Whataburger is not exactly a cheap place to stop anymore. read more
