Slowest whataburger I've ever been to... and most are slow. Not only were they slow but my burger was cold and my fries were undercooked and they only filled the fry bag 1/2 full. On top of that, instead of bringing me my food by looking for my number like most whataburgers, they called my number out (loudly and rudely) and just left my food there. They did accidentally give me a large coffee shake over a small so at least that was nice. I love whataburger and I get that they can be super busy but this one wasn't even busy. Horrible customer service. Kelsey, who worked the cashier, acted like she didn't want to serve my wife and I. She did not greet us like she did with previous customer (FYI white customer) ahead of us. We asked her to read aloud our order and basically ignored us. Flies everywhere which indicated that they don't upkeep their building and questionable handling of the food. When we asked for the manager, this flamboyant kid, Anthony, answered the call. Go for the incredible burgers. They may be the perfect expression of a fast food burger that's dripping grease like a leaky faucet. That said, you should probably keep it to once a week. Expect poor service. I waited 12 minutes in drive thru for one burger no fries, with three cars in front of me. The drive thru speaker doesn't work reliably, and they struggle to hear your order. When you pull up remember to ask for napkins, cause they're likely not in the bag and you will certainly need them. TL/DR: Delicious heart attack in a bag, amusing service. Took forever to seriously get a kids meal and a #1 at the drive thru at 3pm. Not even during lunch. We sat at the window and watched what appears to be the manager just sit there. After over 5 minutes of waiting at the window for food we didn't even get a "sorry for the wait" from the employee. She just handed us the food and closed the window. read more

As a general course of business, Whataburger already ranks high in my fast food rolls due to its penchant for making its food fresh, its 24 hour availability, and its delectable chicken tender strips, whether enjoyed with white gravy or within their delicious honey biscuits as a sandwich. The burgers seem to have very fresh ingredients, much like In'n'out. However, this particular whataburger also featured a very friendly staff, both on the phone and in the drive through. They promptly came out and helped to push a stalled car that was having trouble in their lot, too! At 2 in the morning!! read more

This was about the worst fast food experience I have EVER had. I waited in the drive through line for a whole hour. It took thirty minutes to get to the order station and when we ordered we were asked to wait for about 10 minutes and then to repeat our order. Once we got up to the window it again took a VERY long time to get our food. Definitely NOT WORTH IT. I do NOT recommend this location, other than that I love whataburger. read more

I've stopped at this Whataburger early in the morning several times on the way from Austin to Houston. The food is pretty standard for Whataburger, but the service always seems a bit off, whether it's a delay in taking your order or a delay in getting the food out to you. read more

The five star rating is relative to experiences at other Whataburgers, not other restaurants in general. This is the best Whataburger in all of Austin, Houston, and anywhere in between. The employees are competent and seem to actually care about creating a pleasant dining experience, and fast (by Whataburger standards). The food is very fresh, and somehow the burgers just taste better here than other Whataburgers. We try to always make a point to stop here on a drive from Austin to Houston. read more

This is the worst fast food experience I've ever had. First the lady answering the drive through was super rude, then my friend and I were pulling up to the drive through singing a song while waiting for our food and the lady at the window told us "no singing stop" , then we were asked to pull up past the yellow lines and had to wait 30 minutes for a honey butter chicken biscuit. Not to mention the first time we received the order it was wrong and had to go through the line again. Terrible. read more

We couldn't leave because we were smack in the middle of other cars in the drive through. Save yourself and DO NOT stop here!!! We generally love Whataburger - but this experience was terrible. Stopped by here on our way back from Sherwood Faire and even though there were two lines backed up, the manager and workers were SUPER friendly and took care of everyone. Wish we had this management and team back in Houston! Definitely made our day. read more

Very slow.....i ordered just one large drink and i was in the drive thru for 30 minutes and no that's not an exaggeration. The staff is fine, no personal issues with them, just for some reason, every time i visit giddings (once a year) this place is sooooo slow. Please figure out how to get faster service to your loyal customers! read more
