Horrible service. I keep making the mistake going to this location. Extremely slow. My regular wait time is about 30 minutes. I understand whataburger is cook to order but having to wait this long for fast food is way too much. This location specific needs more training. First on providing the correct order which at least 4 out 10 visits they will mess it up. Second working faster. Its fast food for a reason. Im not saying all employees are bad there, but in the 3 years I visited this location I haven't been impressed once. I only leave one star because there's nothing less or no option. First time my wife is ever tried the honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich. This is the top fast food burger place in all of Texas hands down to me. I wish I had taken her to Whataburger instead of cattleman's steakhouse on her birthday. I would have saved a hundred bucks lol. read more

It's 4:08a.m. with 2 cars in the drive through in front of me. I order I swap a normal biscuit for a jap ched one. I explain it again just to make sure they understand. She cuts me off with a hell of an attitude saying she gets it and knows how to do her job. I tell her I wasn't trying to be a smart ass I just want it to be right. She stays silent. I order the rest of my food and she continues with the attitude being short and pissy. Get to the window 30 MINUTES LATER!!! And more of the same. This place sucks and the employees are horrible. Ive been going to Whataburgers since the 70's. They've come a long way since those days. A long ways down. Ive had mixed experiences at many WBs over the years but I must say my experiences at this location are amongst the worst. The service and quality over the past year especially has severely declined. Its worse now than during the prior two years of Covid. The taste of the food has declined, the service is much worse, and there doesnt seem to be an effort to improve. As previously stated I use Curbside Pickup, primarily now to pay via the app (their reader is inconvenient to use, requiring you to hand people your phone, and to limit contact). But the real problem I have experienced here is the extensive delays to receive your order, to include some orders which were overlooked. The standard time for curbside is generally advertized as 5-7 minutes if they're not too busy. Realistically it is typical 3x that wait, if you are lucky. More than once Ive placed an order and waited 40-45 minutes, had to call in for status, and did so with light customer traffic. Ive had a couple of orders 'lost'. Ive seen several cars come and go through the drive-thru many times (after my arrival) while I sit and wait for a Pickup delivery. It appears that Curbside Pickup is both low priority and easily 'overlooked' here. If I'm offered an explanation at all its that they are understaffed, though this doesn't add up when later arriving customers are typically getting served faster. As a 10+ year customer at this location I have made my last trip here. Any potential future WB purchases will be made at a WB twice the distance away. I am a senior citizen white hair and all. Sunday morning a neighbor also a senior citizen decided we would try to go back to have breakfast as we use to even twice a week. We stopped back couple years ago as the place is a rest stop/ flophouse for the growing panhandling problem. This particular Sunday morning early we both ordered the breakfast sandwich on Texas toast and a senior beverage. I selected a coffee. ...no white sugar...asked behind the counter for some....was told none available. How do you have 15 people on the clock to run over to Walmart or where ever to pick up sugar in some fashion for your guest ? Asked for the manager.. ...manager says it is not his problem as the warehouse did not ship. So he already knows he had no sugar right ? I told him it was his responsibility to have sugar. .. and that he should have picked some up at a restaurant supply or Sams club even.He said don't talk to him that way flew around the counter got in my space in my face lightly belly bumping me telling me do not speak to him like that and I was to leave. My neighbor asked for the food to go. I nor my neighbor will ever be back .....not if the chance of no sugar but the physical implied threat delivered. Oh yea....they even got the order wrong so check your food. Texas toast request.....doesn't even say it on the ticket. Got the order wrong, don't have sugar for coffee, manager threatens you and kicks you out. This happened Sunday August 28th about8:45 am. Larger size manager . I spent my entire career in the restaurant supply business even my wife is still a GM at a national chain after 27 years of service. The manager's behavior was despicable to say the least. Waited in line for 50 minutes! Service was extremely slow, workers seemed to just be standing around and talking so that was pretty frustrating. We ordered online so once we got to the window the food was out pretty quick and the order was perfect, but everyone who ordered directly from the drive thru was stuck waiting for atleast 15 mins once at the window. Save yourself an hour and go somewhere else! read more

This Whataburger is the best. The morning staff is great and the order is always right. No place makes a better Taquito or Biscuit Sandwich. The lunch time staff and burgers are always great too. The night-time staff and food leave a lot to be desired, that is why four stars only. So don't judge the total package by a night time drive through or you will be disappointed. read more

Worst Whataburger I've ever gone to. I'm not one to complain due to the fact I've worked at multiple fast food restaurants. Their line is always wrapped around the building, and that's not a problem. Good food comes with a good wait. , not in this case though. I ordered a combo upsized the fries around 3:15 on 7/31/20, when I got to the window at 3:55, they dropped my change out the window, forgot the drink and gave me the wrong fry size. I understand it takes time to get food made but 40 minutes? Unbelievable. Please hire new and responsible staff at this location that wont grab fries with the same glove she took my money from. 4/23/22 6:00am... went to the drive thru and waited a few minutes at the order menu. No one greeted me. I said "hello" and no one greeted me. I slowly drove around and peered thru the window and saw 3 of your employees leaning over the counter looking at their phones. It seemed as if they didn't care about the drive thru customers. #healthdepartment needs to make a visit. The employee that is handling the garnishes and bread is not wearing gloves. The manager stepped in to help and she isn't wearing gloves. This place is pretty great actually. Only few options of real food at odd hours, or any hour honestly in this area. The staff here is really nice. I just want to say that Olivia is an absolute rockstar at this location! She is honestly like a ray of sunshine! Every time that we have gone through and she has been working she is SO friendly and patient! She makes sure that our order is perfect and exactly how we ordered it! She always has a smile on no matter what time of the day or night it may be! She is seriously so awesome and after another awesome experience I just had to get her name and let the world know just how great she is! As a person who also works in the service industry I appreciate great service and people who go above and beyond every single day! My husband and I frequent this location (multiple times a week) and this is one of the best locations we have ever been to (and being from Texas there have been many lol). The food is always hot, fresh and cooked to order! All of the other workers we have met have been awesome as well! I just wanted to say thank y'all for being amazing and keep up the great work Miss Olivia and the rest of the crew there on Brentwood Stair! **P.S. Someone give that girl a promotion! Not only do they have HORRENDOUS service and inadequately cooked food (I waited 45 minutes for what looked like undercooked meat thrown together with a couple of other ingredients), I've just learned this place fired a young female employee for wearing a mask! if i could do no stars i would. for starters no matter the time of day they take forever to take your order and by the time i get my food handed to me grass has grown under my feet. they are extremely lazy and don't care for their customers needs at all. they lied to when i specifically asked for extra honey butter and the lady who responded was rude and said they put it on when obviously i looked at my food and their was almost nothing. also the lady who was taking my order was very unprofessional and when she said welcome she stopped speaking and then when i started to order she interrupted and said hold on and a young man was screaming over the mic. i up-charged for a medium drink it was filled to the brim with ice. my girlfriend got a small drink and when we got home i dumped my dr pepper into a glass and a second for hers and i had less drink then she did. they half assed all our food and drinks. i will NEVER and i mean NEVER will i be coming back to those rude unprofessional employees who obviously need to find another profession. read more

I live down the road from this location. All other reviews are from over a year ago and for good reason. This location has gone to absolute shit. Workers are over worked and constantly new people and managers here everytime. They don't listen, I call up at least three times a month with something in my order they fucked up. They've closed their inside dining area after 11 now, drive thru line is atrocious. I've been sitting here for example for 45minutes and stuck in this line. Place sucks and food is mediocre, north Richland hills locations destroy this one to the point the managers of those locations laugh about working at this one. At the drive-thru, the gentleman who took my order initially was friendly, spoke clearly and repeated my order back to me. I arrived at the pick up window and met Maricelia! She was polite, professional, funny and accommodating. She also repeated my order for accuracy and quickly assembled my order at the window. I ordered one soda and two shakes and asked for a drink carrier just for the shakes. She handed me a bag, with a drink holder securely in the bottom, with my two shakes already installed! What a great idea to out it in a bag! If they spill, it's not a huge mess. Great overall service from this location today. Thanks so much! read more

Not sure why it only shows I have been here one time. Maybe I'm too busy thinking about those flame grilled burgers to check-in. For fast food burgers this is my favorite. They have spicy ketchup - does not take much to impress me. I gave up sugar 4 years ago so finding a place with unsweet tea is great since most places push the colored sugar water they call cola. Nice tasty fries, thin cut and typically fried to perfection - so much for giving up sugar. If they come out cold, which is very rate, they do not complain about replacing them with fresh hot fries. Good inexpensive meal where I don't have to worry about the employees complaining about getting paid the same a as college graduate. read more

The slowest fast food you'll ever have the pleasure of waiting for. No matter what time of day or night, the wait is usually 10 minutes if 2 cars are ahead of you in the drive thru. I've timed it several times through the years and I did again last night. There were 2 cars ahead of me and it took 12 minutes to just get a chocolate shake. This is my closest location and it's been there for decades, but the service has always been slow. The food tastes fine and is like other Whataburgers, but it's just not worth the wait. Ever. I drive by this location every single day, but I only will stop in maybe 3-4 times a year, if that. They just remodeled and painted this location last year, but did nothing to improve speed. I rarely eat Whataburger, unless I have a coupon, or wind up going with someone else as the slow service at this location has really turned me off from eating at any location more frequently. read more
