Whataburger in Burkburnett, TX was on the way home for us back on July 26, 2025. Plenty of parking. A little grassy area for the dog to stretch her legs. The restrooms were a bit outdated, yet, clean. Service was very nice. Brought our food out less than 10 minutes after ordering. My daughters were freaked out because a cricket found it's way into the dining room. Those things don't bother me. I've been in places that were 50 times worse. Besides those're good fishing bait. My great-grandaddy went fishing in these parts very often when he was alive. Nicely fried fries. A very tasty "Prickly Pear Raspberry" lemonade "Whatafresher." My jalapeno and cheeseburger was prepped just as requested. Three combos costed me $32.01. Wish Mel Tillis was still around to do those funny commercials. Food is like any other one, But THEY TAKE FOREVER. It's about a 10 minute wait in line and then 10-15 minute wait after you pay.

They make a decent burger. The onion rings are really good. For a restaurant in a small town, I think it is very good. The next time I visit, I will come back to Whataburger. read more

Great people, consistently good food, the whole place needs a good scrubbing. See photos of the smudges on doors and unbussed table. The floors and counters looked the same. I'm here at 10:00 am and drive in line is wrapping around the building and only two other parties in the dining area. Service: Turtle slow. I had an eleven minute wait on my Bacon Cheese Whataburger with all vegetables, sandwich only. The cash register was out of change in the next customer, how does that happen! My take from that is this- locals won't come inside because of the cleanliness but the interstate traffic doesn't know any better because they have never seen the inside. read more

This is just like any other Whataburger. This one is a little better since it's a hometown one where you actually know all the employees. The food is just like any other Whataburger. The building is about 20+ years old now. Would love to see chain restaurants make their facilities different from town to town so you have something different to see each time you go to one. The lobby area has been remodeled a few years back. The restrooms are in real need of some remodeling or repair. read more

My order was so simple, yet they managed to screw it up. I ordered two Whataburger's and two large onion rings. Get home with it and only one onion ring. The girl even read the order back to me when she brought it out. It's not rocket science. read more

Ordering through the app was simple enough. Chose "asap" and the app said it should be ready in about 10 minutes, so we gave them that before arriving and checking in. Our drinks came out right away. The food, on the other hand, took nearly 30 minutes before it came out. We had to sit there and watch car after car go through the drive-thru while our drinks watered down. They seemed to be way over staffed and severely under managed. I feel that ordering through the app should be just like ordering at the speaker, but they definitely keep you behind every other order. read more

I'm visiting from Las Vegas, and my mom just had to have Whataburger since we don't have them at home. The food was good. Their ranch dressing for dipping was great, so I loved that. The service though, was wonderful. The manager was so sweet, bringing us our food and getting us whatever we needed. It was as if it was his pleasure to do so! The food at this Whataburger makes you think, "what burger"? I usually come here only out of a need to fill my appetite, only to be reminded as to why I don't like this fast food joint in the first place. When looking at the list of places to get fast food in Burkburnett, you would think this would be #1. It is not, plain and simple. Why you ask? During the summer, you will be assaulted with the aroma of the not-so-freshly-dead crickets. Hundreds of them. While I do enjoy unique fragrances, I prefer the ones that engage your appetite. Not the odors that annihilate it. Even then, I am sometimes hungry enough to brush off that not-so-trivial detail. Then I arrive at the counter to be greeted, about a quarter of the time, by a irked worker. Yet, I am not expecting much better from a fast food place. BUT I DO EXPECT AN ABSENCE OF FLIES. Done ranting. When you get your food, you may notice that it is cold, dry, poorly made, or just plain wrong. Then, just like I do every time, you'll think to yourself: "There is another Whataburger just 28 mile south of I-44. Or I could've gone to the McDonalds a half mile down the road." read more

Went here for a quick food stop today, which ended up taking way longer than expected. The women at the registers kept communicating poorly, and by the time I got my order done, the line hadn't moved at all. While waiting, I could hear the employees yelling at each other to do work that they are easily capable of doing. The staff was nice, though, so props to them. All-in-all, this should primarily be used as a drive through spot. Hope this helps anyone else coming here. read more

Just like any other fast food joint, check your order before you leave! All we ever ask for is no onions or tomatoes, yet they can't usaully get that right! Missed opportunity! As one of a few locations in town for food this place misses the mark. Drive up takes forever and they get my order wrong every time. Maybe it it time for a intercom upgrade. I went inside the restaurant today and the place is dirty, no ice in the drink station, the food prep stations are filthy and the employees are slow. I went in and ordered a #2 I had taken one bite out of my burger and saw a half dead fly in it. When I took it up to the manager he said sorry and made me another one and gave me an apple fritter. He should have given a full refund. I will not be going back there again. read more

Ugh these people in here are so rude, annoying, and anything else but nice and respectful. First we're trying to order in the drive thru and the lady taking the order won't shut her mic off so we don't hear her conversation. Then she wants to interrupt you while ordering cause she ain't paying attention to us. Then We finally get to pull forward to pay and she worried about her shake that she wants made for herself then us before they cleaned the machine. When she needs to be worried about her job and customers before herself. Lela I believe is her name. Then, we're driving down the road on the highway and I'm trying to eat my food and come to find out it's not even correct. They got it wrong. We ordered cheese for a triple meat and for a Whataburger and they made sure to charge us for it but they didn't make sure it got on the burger. Just all around ridiculous place at night! I was driving on a 6 hour trip and the only time I stopped was to grab lunch here...I haven't eaten at any Whataburger for about 4 years and was very disappointed. The time was about 1 pm so not too busy...Went through the drive thru and got a cheeseburger, fries and tea. Headed back on I-44 and when I opened the burger, the meat was completely cold, not even warm, the cheese was completely cold, not even melted a little which makes sense as the meat was cold, it had about 1/4 cup of mustard on it (I love mustard) but that was oozing out, the fries were barely warm. The only good thing was the tea. $7 down the drain! I threw it all back in the sack and in the trash when I got to my destination...Will make sure to avoid Whataburgers in the future. read more
