I have been to Whataburger plenty of times, but this last time I ordered the new double steak burger, there was a 7 inch hair in my food on the second bite of my burger(I have a video of it), well luckily I wasn't that far away so I turned around and then I went to the drive-through speaker and I told him what happened and I asked for a fresh order medium fries because I didn't wanna eat my fries either and the guy said ok, well when I went back, they gave me just the burger and I had mentioned oh and I had to order a prize of fries too I didn't wanna touch and he said the manager said they would only supply the burger. read more

Oh man, these poor kids. They're running around completely flustered, trying to do a good job but it was pretty clear that they have no leadership. I was there for 30 minutes and witnessed multiple messed up orders and when my food finally arrived it was cold and dry. Clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. After walking out of the local Popeyes, because we were totally ignored, a young man that worked at Whataburger was coming in at the same time and held the door open for us. We knew we were in the right place. The young lady at the front counter was patient and kind and took our order beautifully. The only complaint I might have is that our food took a while. It was definitely longer than usual. It could have been because I ordered the fish sandwich. I do know those generally take a bit longer. First and foremost, Whataburger serves their lunch/dinner menu 24/7. So, if you're like me, you can get a burger for breakfast. And this Whataburger made an excellent burger for me before 10 AM. Now, for the negatives. First, the lines here back up massively and the staff doesn't seem able to handle this. The line got long on Sunday morning and while there was a huge staff all seeming to look busy, no one except one guy was able to take orders. Second, like a lot of locations now, the staff rations condiments. My large order of fries apparently only entitled me to two ketchup packets. And finally, while the burger tasted great, it was put together beyond sloppy with no alignment between the burger, cheese, and bun. And let's not even talk about half of the ketchup on my burger being on one side of the burger and the wrapper. In short, it's a decent enough option, but clearly the staff can't handle a crowd. read more

Once again, we headed out for a trip and this trip was special because it was Christmas Eve and we were headed to Dallas to catch our flight to go see our son and granddaughter and as usual we stopped by Whataburger for sausage cheese and egg biscuit and we always ask for it to be hot and fresh and it was much to our disappointment when about five minutes down the road past the airport to Dallas we opened up our sack to find cold, hard biscuits. We ordered these sausage, egg and cheese biscuit meal and the rest of it was OK but the sausage egg and cheese biscuit was not even edible. It was cold and it was very disappointing so it basically started out our trip with disappointment. This is not the first time this is happened at this restaurant and I'm sure it will happen again and that's what you get when you have kids running a restaurant that just don't care. I will be looking for an alternative but we love our Whataburger, sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits because they're the best and we have Whataburger sausage at home but it's so disappointing we can't have consistency and trust that it will be hot because that's the only way it's really good but I promise you I will be looking for an alternative in the future.!!! read more

Waited for meal for about 12 minutes, I'm pretty patient because I had asked for patty melt to be dry, no cheese on a salad. So received the order and started back on road trip for the patty melt to have sauce and salad had cheese. Fries were not even hot with it taking extra time to prepare. Pretty disappointed, it added time to our road trip and I still didn't get dinner. They did offer for me to come back and replace the items. I'd give this place a 2 for wait time if I hadn't experienced the Whataburger phenomenon at EVERY Whataburger I've been to. It goes like this: No matter how many cars are in the drive thru - whether it be 15 or 1 - you WILL wait 45 minutes to get your order. If you are the only car in the drive-thru (a cosmic event I've yet to experience) your order will take 45 minutes to prepare. And we're talking 2 orders of biscuits and gravy and 2 cokes. The insanity is that I continually come back because the biscuits and gravy are that addictive! Plus this place is great for after the show at 2 am when everything else is closed but the Skillet's (beware)! But even when I'm out of town and have IHOP options, I still sometimes opt for the Whataburger if the mood is right. I haven't tried ANY of their burgers, ironically, or anything else on their menu.
