Non-paying customer

Stopped during a summer trip. After we ordered our food, the ONLY other customer in the restaurant received his food. The drive thru had sporadic business. Finally after listening to the staff in back laugh and cut up, my wife checked on our order. In all, it took 15 min for a chicken strip meal and 2 BOBs. Oh...and no gravy with the chicken strips. Food was good but customer service sure isn't like we get in Texas. Probably will do Chick-fil-A next door if we're ever back in Brandon, MS. Only a few flies inside

Food has been excellent, however the wait time is ridiculous. Prepare to be in line for about 10-15 minutes.

Tried to pick up an Uber customer's order ( " jessica l." ..that's a LOWER case L btw per her when…read moreI called here yesterday via the Uber driver app ) from this mcd's. .they said " can't find her order" Called customer. got her on speaker phone..100% confirmed I did see her order in the Uber app/system and she said it was still active on her end. And Had the supervisor looking neutral ( not bad..but not pleasant either) attitude black woman double check...again.she said she can't find an order for Jessica L for Uber in her system. I told Jessica I'm contacting Uber support and I need to hang up but will continue contact with her via messaging on the app. she politely agreed. Called Uber support..they confirmed this order IS still showing active on their end also. ( Christy = Uber support rep ). She put me on hold while trying to call the restaurant, said she could not reach anyone. I said that outloud while I had Christy on speaker phone, and either that same supervisor at Mcd's or her younger employee said that they don't have a work phone there. I googled this location's phone number. got 601-939-3314, tried calling it..it goes to a different sound dead/busy signal for a few seconds then autohangs up - makes me wonder if this is the same phone # Christy/uber support tried calling but I forgot to ask her this yesterday when I spend 22 minutes, my fuel cost and miles dealing with trying to pick up this order 12-8-25 between 3 pm and 3:45 pm This was the 1st or 2nd time ( unsure which ) I had encountered this exact problem at any restaurant delivering for Uber for 2.5 years straight..and the 1st time at this restaurant and location. Always got orders from here before ( shrugs). I'm not sure who or what system is to blame for this problem..IF..the customer " Jessica l." is not a fraudulent customer. I say that because while holding for Christy/Uber support's attempted to call Mcd's....Jessica l. sent me msg saying " they had already made my order". Who is they? another location? because it wasn't Brandon Ms Mcdonald's per them. So there are two pieces of confusion here to figure out Either Uber's system is goofing in a new way..OR this was a fraudulent customer trolling me..wasting my time ( which I'm curious about considering i woke up this morning with a " report" against me for not delivering someone's food but per Uber it will never say who made such a report...- and I've NEVER kept a customer's food. I"m diabetic..and don't eat McDonald's anyways anymore, haven't in years ... I have an excellent track record with uber with almost 1200 deliveries in my time..... or Mcdonald's system was messing up in connection with the Uber app OR Mcdonald's cancelled the order out of their system - if they are able to do so.....I'm not sure - Either way .it was a crappy ...time wasting situation in which I had to waste MORE of my time ( when you add up the 22 minutes I wasted yesterday on this...plus the 43 minutes I had to spend on the phone with 3 different Uber support reps to be compensated for close enough to the same amount the order would have paid out But bottom line also..just about EVERY single time ( almost...around 1/3rd the time is a good enough wait time/experience ) they don't understand " FIND..A NEW/NEXT..MENTAL...GEAR...come on..hussle some...get to moving" aka it's like they or most of them in the back of the house in that restaurant..purposely drag their feet. Bring back the early 90's and 80's when we had a more variety of types of people working in McD's who cared about quality, customer service with a smile and an eager faster moving attitude ( big hint McD's ..please take notes from Chik - Fil - A ;) It's not rocket science )
