Stopped by here on our way to DFW. This was my first Whataburger experience and it did not disappoint whatsoever!! I got the spicy sweet bacon burger and it was DELIGHTFUL. Not necessarily spicy but definitely had a barbecue smoky sweetness to it! French fries tasted old-reminded me of McDonalds fries. Service was great!! Will return to whataburger in the future! What a mess of a restaurant. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I could have gotten my food quicker if I'd gone into chili's down the street and ordered instead. I have never had a drive thru trip take SO long. My family was starved so we hung in there, but there were lots of people in front of us who jumped out of line ... we should have followed their lead! Once we finally got to order, we did the math and figured out the price quoted was wrong. By the time we got to the window, it took a good 10 minutes for them to fix pricing AND get our food. Then they served us completely burnt onion rings ... I can't believe they even put them in the bag to serve! And they got part of the order wrong. The whole experience was awful! Whomever is running the place needs to get their act together ... and whomever is working there, needs to be retrained. read more

Took 25 minutes for my order. This wasn't a rush time either, it was 3pm. When my food finally came, it was cold!! Terrible.

This place was a nightmare. Food was disgusting and the staff were rude. Wouldn't recommend.

Wow What-A-Failure. I am still standing in the restaurant while typing i am now at 27 minutes still waiting on my to go order. There are 9 tables all waiting on their food. They are so busy on the drive through they at basically ignoring the restaurant. We have watched a dozen vehicles enter and leave. While all these folks wait on their food. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. But, these things are only as good as the people that are manning the establishment. I stood in line while an employee was talking and laughing with someone on the side. When we asked if someone was running the register, she replied, no and went back to talking. Slowest Ever! Ordered to-go 4 burgers, fries, and drinks and it took longer than 35 minutes to receive the order. Drive thru was at a standstill also. Many people got a refund and left in the time we were there. read more

This place was awful! They didn't ask us for cheese or anything but asked other people. They messed up my order and gave my order to someone else. I also think that those people got free stuff because they got my order and never gave me anything when it was my order that got messed up. read more

Whataburger is my favorite place to eat. Well fast food wise. I have only been here for a month and have gone maybe 3 times already during this month. The first time I ordered the chicken strips, they forgot the gravy. The second time I ordered hamburgers in which I was waiting at the window for a while and by the time I got home, about 10 min away, the food was cold. The last time I was at the drive thru waiting for over 10 min maybe more, by the time I wanted to leave I was next to get to the window, i get there and was told to wait, there was only two cara in front of me and was waiting again for over 5 min or so and I just left. They take forever! They don't get the food right and by the time its your turn, the food is already cold. Its called fast food, its and in and out and order complete and ready and just made/prepared. read more

Have not been to whataburger in 20 years. It has not changed. Decent burger decent fries. Employees were friendly.

One star solely bc I have to select the min. I didn't even order so no fucking clue how the food is at this location but I can guarantee you it's poorly ran...I am heading bk from a fun filled wknd w/ my 2 boys when I spot those orange & white stripes. I'm a Whataburger fan so I know that it will always be in min of 15 mins in the drive thru when there's a line. Not today tho. Today I go stuck in a line that moved slower than turtles. At one point I holler to the employee guarding the door (bc ya know, fucking Corona Virus is real) that someone needs to be out here directing traffic bc these fucktards don't know how to properly follow each other in this line to which he replies "We're short handed" Of course y'all are...It's obvious bc I've been sitting in the same spot I started in for over 5 mins. I was stuck the moment I hit the parking lot bc a car pulled in right behind me & their drive thru is a terrible layout. After 27 mins of scooching along & still being at least 4 cars from actually ordering I said fuck this shit & took the only open spot there was. 27 fucking mins & still not to the order box is ridiculous for any restaurant. Second visit to Whataburger since moving to the area. Even though I went during the Friday lunch rush, my order was taken and out the window in a reasonable amount of time. After paying I did have to sit at the window for a while. I've worked in fast food and appreciate the friendliness of the employee even thought they were busy. As for the food, I tried the Whatacatch fish sandwich meal. It was nothing special, but was cooked crispy and tasted good. I now know the wait I had at the window was for fresh fries. They came out piping hot, but weren't all that great. I think they were over cooked. I thought a dipping sauce might make them better, but the house ketchup must be an acquired taste and I am not a fan. I will most definitely be going back, maybe skipping the fries, for sure passing on the ketchup. read more

Worst whataburger experience I've ever had. Showed up at 9:05 to wait in the drive thru line and it didn't move so I went inside to order at 9:25. At 9:38 the gentleman in front of me said he had been waiting for 30 minutes. I asked for a refund and explained I still had a ways to drive. I was informed that the manager was busy and would see me in a few minutes. At 9:55 I still had not heard anything, nor had anyone in the restaurant been served. Be careful ordering food from this Whataburger! Came theu there last night on my way back from Dallas. Ordered some food and had to wait for. Yes mind you. Said I had to wait for it. So I was expecting piping hot fries and burger. What did I get? Stale fries that where not piping hot. Your welcome birds on the highway for the fries. And a none juicy beef jerky burger. One of the worst Whataburgers I've ever been to. Went to one in San Antonio and it was like a religious experience. This one is just nasty. Haven't been able to put my finger on it until now. Having used to work in the fast casual restaurant business, I don't think they are refrigerating their lettuce and tomatoes properly. They're always slimy, warm and nasty. The Whataburger in San Antonio's lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp. It tasted as good as some of the burgers I've had at independent places in Chicago. This one just doesn't get it. I mean, is the district manager not bringing this place up to compliance or something? You would think this problem would have been rectified. Not very impressed with this whataburger, from the time we pulled in the parking lot. If it wasn't for my husband really wanting whataburger, I wouldn't have stayed. One employee sitting in his car smoking a cigarette in one of the front parking spaces of the restaurant, with another employee standing talking to him as she smokes hers. Then comes a third employee. Just trashy to be right there at the front doors of the building smoking, typically at other restaurants they go to the back of the building or near the dumpsters. Not to mention, why does an employee park his car at one of the front row spaces where it will sit for the remainder of his shift? While standing in line, the man walks back in bypassing the restrooms which I think should have been his first stop to wash his hands regardless if there is a wash sink in the kitchen. Not very encouraging to the patrons who just saw you outside smoking a cigarette and shortly there after they see you cooking food. I got the whatachicken sandwich, a regular for me, however, I did not know they've started adding a savory sauce to it rather than mayo... until I got my sandwich and then looked at the menu. The whatachicken has been around for years so I never bother looking at the menu but, if they start offering another option (after looking back at menu it said savory sauce or mayo) then it might be best for the cashier to ask if they want mayo or the sauce on it. Not a big deal, still tasted ok, but biggest complaint is coming up with another option for your employees to take a smoke break! read more
