We had used them before. They were quick and we were charged very little. Recently, my laptop would not turn on so I ran it up there. He looked at it right away, did a couple things and turned it on. POOR all around. (Sept-Nov 2013) MacBook motherboard replacement ordered per insurance coverage for a water spill. Insurance co covers & insists on all new parts. The guys at what the tech ordered a refurb, refused a new replacement, never answer the phone... Just a hassle all around to deal with. Stuff runs on it (have been a computer guru in the past - till I had a stroke which caused a lack of understanding where it was). Decently nice people, but I would not recommend taking your Apple products to them. I needed a new battery for my MacBook. It took them installing 2 different batteries for the problem to be "fixed," but the battery I paid $109 for (and didn't have my computer for a week because they couldn't figure out why the first battery wasn't working) ended up not being compatible with my laptop. Long story short, the problem that was "fixed" by them installing a third-party battery made my computer even worse, so I took it to an Apple store, paid another $120 for an Apple battery, and my laptop hasn't had any issues since. When I called WhatTheTech to try to get my money back because I paid for a battery that isn't compatible with my computer, they told me that it wasn't a battery problem ("Apple is wrong") and that they cannot help me. I'm sure they're fine with fixing screens or Windows computers, but definitely don't buy parts for your Apple products from them. read more

I am very grateful to have such reliable, honest service in my own back yard. With one of my computers, the actual fix was one of two things. It was decided to go with the least expensive option first. When that didn't solve the problem, I brought it back and they were able to resolve the issues with a different repair. Instead of charging me twice, they rolled-in what I had paid when I came in the first time into my final charge. My computer has worked great ever since. read more

I wish there was an option for no stars. My father took my ipod that fell into water to this store. When it was said it couldn't be fixed they charged him $62 just to export the songs onto a memory stick!! Real professionals that would want future business from their customers would have been HONEST and said the ipod still connects to the computer. Never again!!!!! read more
