Let me say that with all these visits over maybe 10 years, we've never had a bad meal. The place shows its age but always seems clean. The staff seem to clean up quickly behind each customer. As for today's meal and service. The wifey had the French Toast with a side of sausage and we'd say this I about the best flavor French Toast around. The sausage also has a very good flavor. As for me, something told me to get the Open Face Turkey. It also was good. Had a decent flavor but wasn't exactly outstanding. But again a nice meal. First time I've had this here and if I had a craving, id get again. I still think my favorite is the French Toast or in the past I've had Chip Beef and I think Biscuits and Gravy. I assume they still sell those but the turkey was calling to me. As for the staff: always very friendly and today was no different. In the past, this place was a cash-only place but I noticed today they took cards. Not sure what cards or if there is a charge for using a card like many places now. But I was prepared for cash and paid by cash with a cash tip, which I nearly always do when dining out. As for my review. I gave this a 4-star but I would have given a 4 1/2 star if that was an option. So stop in and have a nice meal.

Instead, I was stopped and loudly reprimanded by a large, intimidating male employee in front of a line full of customers because I had apparently "used the wrong door" and "skipped the line." When I explained that I needed to use the restroom before ordering, I was told I should have used the other entrance -- despite the fact that the door I was directed toward had a clearly posted sign saying "Please Use Other Door." The entire interaction was humiliating and completely unnecessary. No customer, especially a mother carrying a baby, should be publicly shamed over something so minor and confusing. To make matters worse, the bathroom itself was filthy. Even if I had attempted to change my daughter on the floor due to the lack of a changing station, it would have felt unsanitary and unsafe. Businesses love to say they support women and families, but too often mothers are treated like an inconvenience the moment they actually need basic accommodation and decency.

My friend said that this was the best ever pumpkin latte she's had. My banana bread latte was really good too. As we sat drinking our drinks a lot of people came came in.
