    The view

Everything is pre cooked, no cash taken here. Cashier was not happy. It came in a timely fashion The location is fabulous The view of whales jumping beautiful birds.

Okay, hear me out. The views were amazing BUT the açaí bow I got had hardly any smoothie at the bottom of the bowl. It felt like I was just eating fruit in a cup with granola it didn't have the creamy smooth part of an açaí bowl. If I'm spending $18 for a good açaí bowl you better preform. The service was very good, both women working were super bubbly and engaged in conversation we had. I'm just overall under whelmed with the bowl. I need more smoothie so maybe try switching to bigger cups??

This was a little food stall at the Wailea Beach Resort. I stopped there several times in the morning after my walk to get something for breakfast and did lunch there a couple times as well. They do a very nice acai bowl that I had multiple times. Lots a great fresh fruit on it. They also make a very nice banana bread that I had a couple of times. For lunch, I had their caprese sandwich one day and their margherita flat bread another day. Both were tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location oceanfront.

Decent beach food stand with tasty smoothies. Their bahn mi was surprisingly good for a place that doesn't necessarily specialize in Vietnamese food. Definitely a filling treat if you find yourself at in the Wailea area, but you're probably better off bringing your own stuff. $30 for charcuterie? Yikes. I didn't get it but my kid nephew did and it was at least worth $10 worth of meat and cheese from your local grocery store.

We walked by on along the beach and had never gotten any Acai bowls in the area, and heard you should try acai bowls in Haiwaii, so we decided to give it a try. Although I only had one thing from them, it was ok. Nothing really special. To me it wasn't enough acai, and it was hella expensive for $16 for just all fruit and a few sprinkles of granola. I can't say what their other food tastes like. But acai bowl not worth it.

Açaí bowl. Filled with tons of granola on bottom

It's pricey but it's also tasty! The breakfast sandwich was quite yummy, the flu kicker juice was just the right amount of ginger and fruit juice. The açaí bowl was more expensive than anywhere else I've been to, and a bit lacking on the actual smoothie amount, but it's a resort bar so I kind of expected over priced yet tasty dishes. It's great to stop by on your sunrise stroll though so you've just gotta do it.

It is a nice little joint facing the beautiful Pacific Ocean. We got the flatbread and the chicken sandwich. The flatbread was good just would have been better if crust was a bit crispier. The sandwich was just too messy and hard to eat. Very nice employees.

Listen when you're sitting there staring out at the sunset, it's hard to not feel good but then you get a Mai Tai and some fresh flat bread. You're going to have a good time, that's what whale tale was about. Incredible location and solid food. We had their flat bread, smoothies and Mai Tais on a couple of nights that we were there and the food was good not spectacular if a bit pricey but that's the location.

    Perfect beach side tacos!

What a perfect spot for beach side tacos! My husband and I were staying at Hotel Wailea up the street and some locals suggested that this was a great spot for lunch. It was a lovely walk from our beach spot to the restaurant. We ordered the nachos and fish tacos - absolutely delicious! The outside area was beautiful, the view could not be beat and the price was perfect. We walked back along the beach to our chairs for a nap. It was really the perfect amount of food for two people and just far enough away to get the blood moving after laying around.

    What to try ..

Best place to grab a healthy breakfast. We loved the Açaí berries and fresh juices. Top notch service. We almost could not resist our temptation to get the Whale's tale juice and Açaí bowl at this place. The lines were long but we cared the least.

Horrible breakfast. Eggs from a carton steamed into a perfect rectangle, served ice cold with an ice cold piece of sausage.

Service was attentive and friendly, conversations were natural and light hearted, it was fun to interact with the chef and the staff as they pass by the bar where we sit. Also best seat in the house cos we got to see every dish come out so we have a preview of all the dishes. Food was delicious and cook in front of us, that was a bonus! Tried the kapachi crudo with passion fruit miso, love it, good blend of savory and tartness. The gnocchi was fluffy and soaked up the Brie sauce very well with small pieces of guanciale that added crunch. Smashed burger was the show!! Crispy edges dry aged wagyu patty with very light pink on the juicy inside, cooked along with caramelized onions and cheese, buns were pressed slightly on the grill with sprinkle of salt to add flavor which was a nice touch! Local catch today was the snapper, charcoal grill was very aromatic and cook for fish delicately with veggies that were sautéed with tako vinaigrette. Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and a scoop of honey lavender ice cream was so heavenly! The meal was delicious and fun, definitely will visit again!

My husband had the same hash with grilled ahi (very salty) . They tell you the egg on the hash is a runny sous vide- I think she said. I thought it would be ok, like ramen, ....Runny was right, the white of the egg was more translucent than opaque. Specify more cooked egg if this raw thing is not for you. Service was with a smile, but we were half finished with our breakfast before the Bloody Marys showed up. Patio is nice and airy with some view across the blue course and toward Molokini. In the treetops. So why a rate of 3? It's the details- the server commented on delayed drinks very dismissively, and their outdoor speaker was on too loud to the point it reverberated with some static, definitely blown out. I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. You decide.
