Fish n' chips
Phil C.

$9 for fish and chips? What more could you ask for? We stop by here for a small lunch on our way to the Outer Cape. Btw, take the scenic route (Route 6A) instead of Route 6. It's the journey and the destination. The fish and chips are decently portioned though I did notice that my recent order was smaller than one a few years back. The fish was still flaky and flavorful, though. It's still a bargain at $9. The lobster roll is a good price ($18 as of this writing) but I find it to be a little too heavy on the mayo. Again, it's still a good price. Service is excellent and the servers are friendly and mostly attentive. The place is a tight bar but it's pretty clean and not dingy. Parking is a bit limited and there are some mean potholes in the parking lot.

A fishing town that sells affordable fresh seafood! Can here to they the lobster roll, best priced I've seen anywhere. I walked in and the place was packed. Local bar serving up no frills seafood at a very good price point. Small bar but all the patrons seem to be local, a good sign. I placed my order and waited. Food came out fairly quick. Bread was nice and toasted, good amount of lobster for the price, it's a killer deal.

One reason to come here is the cheap prices. For example, $9 fish&chips, which I read somewhere they haven't changed the price in 20 years! $22 for fried clam plate is cheap these days when up to $38 is not unheard of. Lobster rolls, $18, is also considered cheap. Another reason could be if you enjoy the ambience of an old-fashioned dive bar. The bar totally dominates the room, with just a few tiny tables squeezed against the walls on three sides, and a huge TV over the bar which was tuned to golf that day. It was pretty full when I arrived, with almost everybody sitting at the bar. I chose a table. There's also a large outdoor space with a few diners but it was too windy and bright for me. Order at the bar and they bring the food when it's ready. I ordered a fried clam plate and a ginger ale. The portion was certainly adequate for the price, the batter was light and crunchy, and the clams were fresh. However, the big flaw: the larger of the clams - they varied in size - were unpleasantly undercooked. Does anybody like them like that? Not me. I left a few of the largest ones uneaten. The fries were, no other way to put it, awful. Soggy and tasting of nothing but frying oil. No cole slaw served with this, though it's available as a side. On the positive side, the waitress / bartender was really nice and welcoming to me. Service was fast so you won't waste much of your day if you stop for quick lunch. And the prices, as I mentioned. So 2 stars for the food: the quality and lack of cole slaw. Are the friendliness, ambience, and prices enough to make up for this? Maybe? So I'm adding a star. It's doubtful I'd ever go back but if I do I hope I remember to request the clams cooked well-done. But in truth I might be growing tired of clams.

Food was excellent-- Fish was super fresh and moist. My server was friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is quaint and you can tell the establishment is well loved through loyal and continuing patronage. Would highly recommend.

Rated second best dive bar on the cape. Small but great seafood , drinks and bartender. Prices out of the 90's Ill be back

Christmas cookie martini ! Mind blowing and great price

I'm so happy to have this local place to go for a quick bite and cocktail after a long day at work . The fried scallop roll with its buttery toasted bun is my favorite go to and this Christmas cookie martini was epic and incredibly priced !

We were in town for a wedding and one of the souvenir shops in Onset told us we needed to check this place out if we were looking for lobster rolls. And when a local tells you to check a place out...you do it. And soooo glad we did! I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! It's this small establishment with the bar in the middle and surrounding bar tables along the walls. The bartender was...AWESOME!!! She was super attentive to every customer in that space and had the BEST personality! She was hilarious and just overall awesome! And fellow Buckeye! O-H! I-O! She enhanced our experience a great deal! The local souvenir shop lady was NOT KIDDING. These lobster rolls were AMAZING! The roll was buttery soft and the lobster was so plentiful for a really affordable price!!! I would have normally expected it to be a lot more expensive, but again...the local lady said..."you will NOT find another lobster roll at this price that is really good..." And she was right! The whole experience was so awesome...I HIGHLY recommend going to this place if you're in the area and are wanting to try some delicious lobster rolls. Thanks to the entire staff at Bob O'Malley's! You're place was FANTASTIC!

I have been going here for years, and thankfully, it's not closer cause I would be going far more often, and I'd be broke! The staff is always friendly, and the freshness of everything is as good as it gets. You will see what I mean by that when you walk in the door. The clam chowder they offer is fantastic, and the lobster roll kits they have available are as fresh as they get and are very reasonable priced at $18.99 What great about the lobster roll kits for me is it has all the lobster parts, not just the claws and knuckles which I find kind of boring. I love that a lot of their stuff is locally caught as well. If you are looking for the best of the best and the freshest seafood available, then this is your place!

The staff has always been nice, the fryers are always hot, seafood fresh and delicious, and all at a good value. Don't sleep on the Southern Fried Chicken Dinner, super tender juicy meat with a very crispy thin crunchy exterior, with a great buttermilk biscuit. My favorite fried chicken of the summer! Steamers and mussels are always fresh, delicious, and a generous portion. Fish and chips or Seafood Platter are top quality and never disappoint. The lobster bisque was disappointing and quite bland, especially given the hype. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder and it barely had any clams in it and was also very bland. I ordered a lobster roll and a separate order of onion rings as well. The lobster roll was just okay , the lobster itself was cooked well, but there wasn't a lot of meat for the price, so it didn't feel like a great value. The onion rings were fine but nothing special. The setup is more of a quick-service style: you order at the counter, get a buzzer, sit down, and then go pick up your food when it's ready. It's convenient enough if you're looking for something fast and casual, but between the bland bisque and chowder and the average lobster roll, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. I probably wouldn't stop here next time.

The brewery is right on the beach, so you have stunning oceanfront views from basically every seat. There's a bunch of outdoor seating (which is kind of shaded, but was still sooo hot in July), a really cool tap room upstairs, and one of the best brewery merch stores I've seen on the ground floor. We visited on 4th of July weekend, so the minimal parking next the brewery was totally full. Luckily, there's an overflow lot with a shuttle van about 5 minutes down the road. It was pretty tricky to find however, so be sure to ask the staff in the on-site parking lot for specific directions if you need to get there. They serve all the same great beer you expect from Tree House, plus they have a nice little cocktail bar outside, so there's something for everyone. I really liked the Cape Hound and the Rum Punch.
