The buildings on this site were part of the 22,000 acre Moulton Ranch dating back to the 1920s and 30s. It's a beautiful stretch of land of fruit trees, ponds, barns, bunkhouses and sheds. The ceremony was outside with the barn and farm as the backdrop. Rustic and romantic! Inside the barn is a modern and spacious room that easily fits 100 people. Bathrooms are nice and clean. If you are looking for a wedding venue in South Orange County and you have come across Gold Coast farm, don't even bother looking anywhere else, make your deposit and get married here. The venue is BEAUTIFUL, all of the vegetation is maturing so nicely. Limes, lemons, grapes. It is so picturesque and if you want an outdoor fairly laid back vibe then this is your spot. Hannah worked with us on all of the details, we got plenty of opportunity to visit the farm, bring stuff early, rehearsal, and next day pickup. We got the whole kit and kaboodle with the tap truck, photo bus, umbrellas and next day cleanup. They were so flexible with us and we are so grateful to have found them. Our wedding was beautiful and perfect and I cannot stress this enough - get married here - stop looking anywhere else!

Everyone else we worked with from the venue was also incredibly accommodating & easy to work with. The venue itself is so naturally stunning and has many different sections closely connected, keeping it easy to flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, while also making each portion of the event feel distinct from one another. GCF is a nonprofit, growing food sustainably and donating to local families in need- Knowing we were supporting such a great organization added an additional layer of purpose to our big day making it all the more special. The staff is so friendly and helpful (I left my glasses and notebook behind at a meeting and they had everything waiting for me to pickup the next day). I kept finding little hidden gems sprinkled across the grounds and the building. The patio is lit with fairy lights and actually comfortable seating options. You can rent out any of the spaces for meetings or events. This is everything a community center should be. A model for other towns.

Well, the server wanted to move us further away. We were already outside, not underneath the pergola per their rules and yet they want to move us out even further, saying patrons would complain about the dog?! But they won't complain about the strong cigar smell?! Ok! We got up closed our menus and left. What a snobby place. There were so many open tables. We weren't even sitting directly next to anyone that could complain about our dog, we had him on a tight leash right at the table, and our dog is trained/friendly.

Ann was incredibly responsive and reliable throughout the process. At one point, she quickly stepped in to resolve an administrative issue involving another vendor--something that wasn't even her responsibility--and handled it efficiently and professionally. Her willingness to help and ability to problem-solve made a stressful situation much easier. The quality of both the furniture and the service was excellent. We would have loved to source our flatware through them as well if we had been able to. Overall, Sundrop Vintage was absolutely worth the long-haul fees, and we highly recommend them.

They coordinated directly with our wedding coordinator on all the delivery and pickup logistics, which made everything seamless on our end. We rented a mobile bar and 3 disco balls. The extra bar was a great call to help manage lines for drinks at our venue, and the 3 disco balls hanging above the dance floor really elevated the aesthetics of the space.

It is amazing what you can see, even saw an octopus one time. Just make sure that you know when the tide is rolling in and out to not get caught out on the rocks! On the backside of the Institute there are also benches to sit at and listen to the ocean. The Institute itself is filled with wonderful sea life and is a great learning experience no matter your age. Outside, there is a calm bay area where paddle boarders are all over as well as the educational ships filled with history. There is nothing that you cannot do in this area!
