After touring and debating between 20+ other wedding venues, we ultimately chose Bella Collina for our wedding this past April and are so happy that we did! It is such a beautiful place, being nestled in a valley with hills and trees surrounding. The tree-lined driveway feels grand and like you're being transported to another world. I also loved the tiered circular amphitheatre area for the ceremony. I appreciated how private the place was overall, being a distance away from surrounding neighborhoods and businesses and with the golf mostly ending by the time the ceremony started. Parking was extremely easy for guests, and the staff and coordinators were friendly and helpful, providing support and information throughout the planning. We appreciated the pleasant menu tasting experience, multitude of photo spots, delicious food, and overall service provided. We only wish there was a bit more support with the day-of coordination but overall the day turned out amazing!
What a great course. The staff are friendly, the views are gorgeous, and I've always had a great round at Bella Collina. The course can be slightly unforgiving but it definitely forces you to play at a higher level than your average. When you get the chance, definitely golf here!
Bella is the best. A real life social community with incredible food and golf. The cultural tone is relaxed San Clemente family vibes, but with a high quality experience. An exclusive club with inclusive character...doesn't get better. The tone is set by GM, Jay Pesicka - Chef Leo is the guy making the food unmissable. And the snack shack is probably the best In town because of Gus and Francisco... but mainly Gus, cooking up bistro quality food and serving it through the window on the turn. Just be careful when ordering cocktails... single=double - double = triple, etc... Simply the best value private golf and social experience in South Orange County. And did I mention 3 or 3 31/2 hour rounds? Let's see you do that at any other local course!
Where to start?? Karen and Mia were incredibly helpful and outstanding when it came to helping us plan our big day! They had provided check lists for us (which helped us out so much with planning) and were always so sweet and quick in answering our hundreds of questions. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious!!! They truly helped make our day so special and memorable. Thank you again, Karen and Mia, for everything you did for us!
On February 20th 2023 I came to eat with a friend of mine, I try the ribs and chicken ,I took a bite of the chicken but it was raw a few minutes later I start feeling sick ,I went to the restroom and I threw up couple times After that I decide to go home. I was feeling sick all night, cooks and management Should pay more attention to the food they serve, I'm really disappointed of the food ,the place is nice but I don't recommend the food unless you want to get sick ,for this reason I gave Bella Collina one star.
The worst course I have ever played. Two to four feet of grass had been removed around every green creating six-inch deep dirt moats. We paid $75 to play 9 holes. I feel so ripped off. Not one staff member mentioned the course's poor condition. I will never play there again.
We cannot thank everyone at Bella Collina enough for making our wedding day just absolutely beyond wonderful! The day was so magical and all of the guests loved the ceremony spot, the food and who would have known that this spot was hiding in my hometown the entire time I lived there! Karen and Elisa were absolutely phenomenal in making sure that every detail did not go unnoticed and answered all of our questions! They were able to set everything up so wonderfully and the whole day went on without any issues! We will forever remember our wedding day and can't wait to go back for their future events!
We had our wedding at Bella Collina on 5/21/2022 and it was so BEAUTIFUL! I highly reccomend using Bella Collina as your wedding venue. Karen and Mia are so friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative. They made the wedding planning process so smooth. The food was absolutely delicious! You even get a wedding food tasting, which is so fun! The bartender Frankie made awesome drinks and they have such a great selection of alcohol. My guests were so happy with the food and drinks. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING. The ceremony space outside is so beautiful not to mention all of the beautiful locations around the golf course where you can take photos with your new husband. The ball room is beautiful and the perfect space for dinner and dancing. You have access to the ball room, the board room, and the cocktail room. We made use of all three! The staff are so professional and provide awesome service. Book Bella Collina now for your wedding venue!!
Words can't express what I feel when I think about our wedding day. It was beyond perfect and everything we wanted. Bella Collina is magical and all of our guests complimented the venue, food and service. Everyone had such a good time! It made my heart happy to see everyone out on the dance floor or chatting enjoying their drinks by the bar. Karen and Elisa went above and beyond for us. Karen even ran to Target for me for sticky tape to make sure I didn't fall out of my wedding dress. And Elisa literally put so much work into making our day perfect. I trusted her from Day 1. She's so organized and on top of everything. We had a large bridal party of 18 people and all of them have lively personalities and the fact Elisa was able to wrangle them she deserves an award. Bella Collina was the best decision I made for our wedding. I wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend Bella Collina and Elisa as the coordinator for a wedding or any event.
There's a thief here.....Our company had a golf tournament here in October. Towards the end we headed back to the cart/bag drop off area. We took our bags off of our carts and placed them on the bag rack in front of the pro shop/employee garage area. I asked one of the many younger course employee's hanging around that area if our bags were to be okay there during the time we were at the closing ceremony since our car hadn't arrived yet, we had no choice but to leave them outside since golf-bags aren't allowed inside. The course employee said "ya, no problem". I figured since it was a Private country club, closed to the members, only people there was our group and course employees. Most importantly I noticed a CAMERA right above the employee garage pointing right in the direction of the cart drop off and metal bag stands, i figured that it would be okay. Long story short, we came out later and loaded our bags in the car and I had noticed that my Scotty Cameron putter was stolen out of my bag. I returned the next day, pro shop manager told me that the specific CAMERA WAS NOT WORKING. I found it convenient that the only camera that didn't work was that one and the only people hanging around that area were the young course employees screwing around since we weren't members, just a group attending a tournament. I gave it a few days for them to investigate, with no Results and said that i was on my own. Shortly after they called me and offered me a putter from the pro shop at their wholesale price. I declined. After spending a ton of money at the course that day the last thing i wanted to do was spend another penny at a place where my putter was stolen from. My thoughts are that my putter going missing was an inside job. Person who took it knew that the camera wasn't working.

We recently had our wedding at Bella Collina and it was an absolute dream! We had both our ceremony and reception outdoors here and we cannot stop getting compliments about how beautiful our venue was! There were multiple gorgeous spots among the venue to take our photos. The food was phenomenal as were the drinks. The venue coordinator, Mia, was so helpful throughout our planning process! She was so responsive and we could tell that she really cared about making our day as perfect as possible. We could not recommend this venue enough! read more

We booked Bella Collina prior to the Covid debacle of 2020. We had to reschedule from our original date to another date and then finally another date which came to fruition. Karen Smiley was extremely helpful at helping us navigate the wedding venue through a global pandemic. She had lots of ideas, was very friendly and very organized. We ended up using our own wedding coordinator, but we did work a lot the last month with Mia to help ensure the venue and our plan were in sync. I can't say enough about the value in having This beautiful venue to utilize for the wedding, ceremony cocktail party and reception. There are so many options since you have the whole venue to yourself and they have so many rooms to help your guests transition from one part of the event to the next. If you have someone looking for the feel of Temecula but the ease of orange county, this is the venue. I got so many positive comments about their stellar service, delicious food, natural beauty of the venue and ease in utilizing all that it has to offer, that I was extremely happy with everything. I feel that it is a very good value for your dollar. After finally waiting from delay after delay from government shut downs and military restrictions from traveling for our family, we feel this was the perfect day and highly recommend this venue. read more

It has been well over a month since our wedding reception at Bella Collina and I am still dreaming about it. The staff, food, venue = amazing. My husband and I live in Nashville, TN but decided to get married in San Clemente because it's my hometown and where we met. We immediately fell in love with Bella Collina because it reminded us of the rolling hills of Tuscany. We had a long-ish engagement (2 years) so there was plenty of time to visit and plan before the wedding. We worked primarily with Karen and Elisa. Both were very communicative and responsive to any questions that we had. Planning a wedding from 2,000 miles away is no easy task but they were there to help whenever possible. We ended up hiring Elisa to be our Day Of Coordinator and she was AWESOME. Her and her team handled the set up, guiding our vendors/guests, and tear down. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything venue-related on our wedding day because I knew it was all in good hands. The food at our wedding was excellent. We had several guests comment on how delicious it was. Usually, wedding food can be hit or miss but the chef at Bella Collina really knocked it out of the park for our wedding. It was so wonderful to get texts from family members and friends the next day complimenting the food! Overall, our experience with Bella Collina was an excellent one. Our wedding day couldn't have been any more perfect. If you're considering getting married in the San Clemente area, definitely check this place out! read more

Highly recommend! Karen & Elisa were absolutely incredible to work with. Beyond friendly, promptly answered our questions, and showed us that they really cared about our special day. From day one they did everything they could to help us wherever needed. If it wasn't for Bella Collina and their amazing staff our wedding would have gone down hill before it even started. I can't say enough good things about Bella Collina & their staff. They were such a joy to work with and we are forever grateful. XOXO Rachel & Torin read more

I have filmed a reception here. The property is scenic and is a perfect location for sunset and outdoor shots. The staff was also extremely helpful. jfvideography read more
I think the pictures myself and others posted are worth a thousand words. One piece of advice (as price ranges can be hard to find without going through the process of getting an official quote), although I'm sure their prices change from year to year (and by season) you can probably expect to spend around $15,000 (give or take a couple grand) to have a plated dinner for around 200 guests. We provided steak, chicken Marsala, salmon, and a vegan Asian infused pasta dish. Wine with dinner and champagne for toasts. Open (?) bar and 2 tray passed appetizers, including a cheese display. Food was really good and the staff can give you a taste test. The staff also worked with us to try and stay on budget... Honestly my parents had a budget of $10,000 (for the entire wedding ), but splurging on Bella Collina was WORTH EVERY PENNY (I just don't know how long it'll take us to pay it all off.... luckily both my parents and in-laws helped out financially ). read more
Stunning views of the mountains with a nice breeze and cold beer on tap. I was here for a wedding, and it was top notch. From very friendly staff, to great food, to amazing coordination and instruction; everything was in it's place. There was about 200 of us, and we all had such an amazing time! I would highly recommend this little hidden gem. There is a lot of great areas we all had to get ready as well, I know that was very important to the bride. #brookejoewedding2014 read more

I had my wedding back in November. I just attended my first wedding since getting married and it made me even more grateful and appreciative of Bella. My wedding was handled so beautifully, the ladies that work there, Karen and Elisa, are so helpful and accommodating.
