It's a sleek but interesting space - the overall building was built as a townhouse in the 1840's but has housed a General Store, family business, and a chorizo factory over the years before housing the first cast of MTV's Real World. The ground floor is very nice, shiny dark wood flooring, interesting furnishings, and a small garden in the back. In the basement there is a tiny speakeasy bar furnished with various period curios as well as restrooms and a small kitchen. Both floors are fairly long and narrow, maybe 2000 sq feet combined? Convenient and chic location and I think the space would work for a variety of purposes.

She was warm during our initial tour, but once the contract was signed, communication became inconsistent and every conversation felt combative and unnecessarily rude. From the beginning, our timeline was a 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM open bar, using the Triplex until 11:00 PM and the Speakeasy from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM, which we'd rented for an additional $2,500. It was the timeline we developed with 632's own preferred caterer, and everything else, including catering, music, late-night food, and vendor schedules, was built around it. Then, less than a month before the wedding, Karen said she had decided she wasn't okay with eight hours of bar service anymore. Nothing had changed except her mind. We were suddenly forced to either cut cocktails during cocktail hour or shorten our after-party, despite already paying for both. We tried to find a compromise. Every suggestion was shut down. In the end, we spent thousands more booking a separate after-party venue, while also eating the cost of vendors like our DJ and photographer, whose hours had already been scheduled and paid for based on the original timeline. By the end of it all, we were so mentally drained that we didn't even do our rehearsal at the venue because we couldn't deal with another interaction. Then it took seven weeks and multiple follow-up emails just to get our security deposit back. If you value being treated with respect during one of the most important events of your life, look elsewhere. The venue is gorgeous. The owner is not someone you want to deal with.

It's here where they had their annual Arts and Leisure Festival, where different reporters and columnists interview various celebrities. Included this year were Cornel West, Tom Brokaw, Martha Stewart, Josh Brolin and Feist, whom we saw. You walk in, and it seems like the lobby of a museum or the opera house. Its very clean, very proper, with very serious looking people working there as security and ushers. And since it is the New York Times the majority of people there were above the age of 40. Yes, even for the Feist discussion there were more older people than younger. The theatre itself is rather small but it looks like it fits about 300 people. So that means that every seat in the house is a good one. The sound system is very clear and not too loud, which I know alot of the older people would've complained about. Plus the seats themselves are plush and very comfortable. As for the show itself, it was great. Feist can pretty much talk all day and night and I would be enthralled. They even had a Q&A where audience members got to ask questions, but they had to goto the microphone at the head of the aisles. Needless to say, my partner pretty much bum rushed and gang tackled me and everyone else on her way to the mike so she could be the first one there.

You can probably do about 350 people here comfortably at an event in the theater... more than that, and you can't cram them all into the auditorium but at least you can project it downstairs in the hall. Would've liked to see more seats in the hall itself downstairs during the breaks, but I guess it's not bad to stretch the legs. Also a rumor of wifi, but no signs or anything else to denote how to use it. Perhaps the event coordinators didn't bother to order it? Overall, great experience with the staff, venue checked out well (clean and bright), though the line for the bathroom did get a bit long (we had a full conference).

The people working the event were nice. But the staff for Lavan were kind as well. The front area was very roomy. The band that was playing in the lobby were doing a great job. Security was very on point, I felt secure. I did appreciate how they set the pop up, up. I just feel bad for the DJ who got into an accident and couldn't make it. If I was holding an event I would choose this place. Yes, its a little far from the train but its ada compliant! Good job guys.

My favorite margarita was from Dos Caminos. I've visited their restaurant before and I was very impressed with their margarita. It was delicious. I definitely tasted coconut with rum and tequila. I had a few samples of their margarita. They even won the competition. I will definitely visit their restaurant again in the future. I'll also attend Margarita Rumble next year. Dobbin St is such a nice venue and I hope to attend other events there.

Although we booked through Priceline-- nobody from Priceline or the hotel itself- had the courtesy to call and inform guests that their reservation was cancelled. To add insult to injury- the front desk was pretty nonchalant and said call your 3rd party booking. They offered zero help in recommending or assisting stranded travellers in a problem that was is of their own doing. Arlo Hotel a block away had AC but no rooms available. If you're going to be doing business-- be accountable to your guests. If you're going to cancel on them-- call everyone regardless of how they booked and let them know their reservation was cancelled. No one should have endured what we endured on the 4th.

When you take the elevator up, you walk into a small area (was used for self check-in with a table for nametags) and a coat rack. From there, you walk down a long hallway lined with workspaces and small conference rooms on each side, along with additional space for coat racks, before it opens up into the main event area. The main space has an industrial-chic feel, with a few couches and chairs, small tables, a TV, and a larger kitchen area. The bathroom is toward the back of the space, and there is also a larger patio/rooftop area. Given the cold temperature, we did not spend much time outside, but it would be great to take advantage of in warmer weather. I liked the interior design overall, but once the event filled up (I would estimate it can comfortably hold about 40-50 people inside), it became extremely loud, as there is not much in terms of sound absorption. That said, it is a cool, versatile space with a lot of potential, and I would definitely keep it in mind for future events, especially in the warmer months when the outdoor area can be used.

What an under used venue space for the advertised BKLYN Boos family event. There are a total of…read morefour tables (arts and crafts) setup in this big industrial complex and a DJ booth at the center. Small Pumpkin patch alongside the wall and basically nothing else. The most decorative Halloween theme may be the LED bats light strobing around. I've seen the flower show art installation here and this event just doesn't compare. The line for face painting stretches down the aisle with one person painting all the kids. It was just a lackluster kids event in this newly minted building.
