I
Every time I pass Terminal Warehouse, I can't help but think about what this building once represented. Long before it became an event venue, it was home to the legendary Tunnel nightclub... one of the most unforgettable nightlife spots in New York City during the 1990s. The music, the atmosphere, the industrial design, and the incredible crowds made it a place people still talk about decades later.
It's amazing that the building still stands, preserving a piece of NYC history. I only wish there were more reminders of its past, whether through historical displays, photos, or special events celebrating the Tunnel era. So many legendary nights and memories were made within these walls.
New York has always been a city that reinvents itself, but it's also important to remember the places that helped shape its culture. Bringing back even a small tribute to Tunnel would be an incredible way to honor that legacy. For anyone who remembers it, or anyone discovering its history for the first time, this building will always be much more than just another venue. read more
