When I found space at the new WeWork in Hollywood it felt too good to be true. It was close to home, had friendly prices and faces. Obviously, fast Internent, free coffee, and limited but fast printing. Enter the pandemic and the company's declined popularity and everything changed. They even replaced large and cozy mugs on to tiny ones, but that's obviously is not the crux of my grievances with the company. It seems that a very little care now goes into the details that made this coworking a good place to work. First and foremost, their Internet has become super shabby. As a member I often cannot connect to the wifi and have to go back home to get online or print something, because the printer also works only off and on. There are no staplers (other than those giant staplers that don't work for normal needs), no hole-punchers, no clips, no nothing. Nowadays, one must bring her own tools and also figure out how to get online (connect tto my own phone?). The building's staff is SUPER friendly and accommodating, but since all these issues come from the corporate office, they are never able to help. So, I do not recommend this place for your business needs. I don't wish to move out because it is so close to my home, but I am guessing I would have to do that soon. Can't pay membership fees just to leave my cases on my desk in the office I barely use. read more
