    Hidden gem! Community oriented, family owned incredible historic, hybrid space with all sorts of magical nooks and crannies and artifacts. Rita House is a coworking and event / filling rental space that hosts a variety of unique events themselves as well. Good vibes

I have both used this as a meeting place and been an invitee of a meeting here... it's a disaster. Trying to get clients to your space is impossible. Look - WeWork is a great idea but they keep choosing places that are just impossible to park/get to. This is a bad business model. And almost every employee here is angry and surly. One exception - lovely young Asian guy was delightful. The rest of the staff is just there for the free beer and snacks I think. Find another place to have your meeting... this is just awful on so many levels. You will spend most of your time trying to get your people up to the space.. it's just not easy. Hard pass.

Now I wanted to see if I was ready to rejoin as I am active in building my two side hustles as AI comes for us! I had a great experience with all the properties but one in West LA (not terrible but not great). I got an invite to an Open House with a code. The code did not work so, I tried again. I reached out to cs and did not get a response for three days! That said, I was interested in dropping in for a few hours to see if I want to rejoin. I was told to rejoin as my account was inactive. I had already done that and the code still did not work. Their tech is not seamless. You would think they could have figured this out 3.5 years later! No one is helpful and the attitude is honestly 'next' and 'we don't care' so, fantastic, neither do I . I will never use them again. I have never done anything but sing the praises of We Work. I even got a friend to join and did not even take the credit because they were struggling, and I really appreciated them being open during the draconian lockdowns. The coffee was flowing, and the kitchen accommodations were great. Even with all that, every company has to know you are one bad experience away from losing a customer. Too many other options in Los Angeles. SIde note: Three locations that were choice are no more so, the future does not look bright for We Work.

We like to split our client meetings between the meeting rooms here and the amazing hotels, bars and restaurants nearby. Very ideal if you're trying to close a big deal or treat clients out to a relaxing night out. Plenty of available parking nearby if the spaces in the building are not available (limited) BIG SHOUT out to Stacey who has been (and still is) a pleasure to work with.     I work for a firm that rents out an office at this building. I've been working here for over a…read moreyear now so I think it's time for my first review. 1. There is assigned parking for employees of the building and two assigned parking spaces for guests. This is very helpful for when we have clients come into the office. 2. Like every other building, there is a building manager here as well. Her name is Stacey. There is no doubt that Stacey's professionalism makes the day to day much better. Any time there is a problem, Stacey makes sure to take care of it in a timely fashion. For example, if the internet doesn't work, if the back door doesn't open, or if there is excessive noise by guests, Stacey is on top of it. Also, she always goes out of her way to accommodate specific needs. For example, if I need to reserve the conference room last minute, Stacey makes sure that if the main one is taken, that we can have the smaller conference room on the 1st floor. Also, I tend to be cold with the A/c so when I ask Stacey to lower it she always does. Bottom line, she is a problem fixer. 3. A few things that I would like to point out that in my opinion need some improvements. First, I don't like the fact that the building is not environmentally friendly. For example, the bathrooms don't have blow dryers but rather paper towels. There is a big waste of paper as a result, which is pretty upsetting. Every day I see loads of paper wasted. This can easily be avoided. And I think management of the building has the responsibility to try and be more environmentally friendly. Also, compared to other buildings that I worked at, this building does very little to connect between the different tenants. So far, In a full year, management arranged one lunch for the building. It was fun to get to know the other tenant. Also, other buildings have donuts or other goodies on Fridays. I'm not suggesting that the building should give out donuts every Friday, but maybe once per month, or once every two months? I think tenants will appreciate that. The thing thy bothers me most is the back parking for tenants. First, Its under the sun, so if I need to drive somewhere in the middle of the day, I get to my car and it's boiling hot. Being an attorney I sometimes need to dress up in a suit, and on multiple occasions I found myself sweating buckets in my suit as soon as I sat in my car. Another problem is that there are lots of trees at the back, and those trees cause the cars to get very dirty very often. I suggest that management spends some money to trim the trees at the back. Thank you Stacey for making it easier to be at work 9-6pm. I will write another review in a few months to update on any progress.

    I LOST a lot of Money with Dots Spaces - I had paid for a professional telephone answering…read moreservices for the whole year in advance. A number was provided by Dots Spaces and this number was then placed on our website, business cards and promo cards. The company initially kept my card on file despite that I had paid the whole year in advance and kept charging me every month and every month I had to write to them inquiring that why they were charging me, then go through the refund process until one day I had had enough, I shouldn't have had to deal with this sort of thing. By this time it was already halfway through the year so they removed my card but failed to pay for the line that they had already charged me for, thus the line got disconnected. I was then promised by Yoann (Owner) that the phone number will be recovered as I had already printed it on very expensive promo cards and business cards which was impossible for me to repeat! Moving on I felt reassured by Yoann as he called stating that he had got that exact number back and promised that he would take care of that account personally from then on so that this doesn't happen again. I then went on to promote and market the business, however by December I started to think that something was wrong and that why I didn't even have one inquiry despite all the marketing so I called the number and it was disconnected again, I think I was having a heart attack at the time from the shock. I called in again and this time discovered that they had not managed to get the original number that they had given me so they got a different number and didn't even bother to tell me!!!! I wrote to Yoann many times requesting of him to take responsibility for the damages he has caused me and truly only asked for a small portion of what I had lost, enough so that I could recover from all the losses but I never got any response of any kind, not even a simple apology! I had very high regards for Yoann but I'm now highly disappointed. This behavior is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Their open spaces are bright, modern, and inviting. The office space we rented had lots of natural light and was furnished with quality items. Every place should have motorized, standing desks as their default option! The amenities were really wonderful. Sparkling water on tap, periodic wellness classes for member engagement, easy to use a/v in the conference spaces, snacks and meals provided periodically... you really feel appreciated and taken care of. Most importantly, the dynamic duo of Ashley and Ashley make Studio a wonderful place to be. They are responsive, attentive, accommodating, engaging, and really just two of the nicest people you will meet. We did our best to try to stay at Studio but unfortunately, there was just not a good fit for our unique needs as an organization but rest assured, we are sad to be leaving.

They literally invent new fees and surcharges out of thin air while you are in contract with them. They shut your power off for a week due to bad property management and you can't work or access your work, and offer no compensation while getting mad when you raise this issue. They jack up the price every 3-6 months by astronomical amounts. Example, from $750 to $1100 to $1950...knowing it's hard for you to get up and leave. They tell everyone they are busy and booked, but in reality the building is more than half empty and all of the tenants are complaining. If there is something they say they can't assist with and escalate to HQ and you don't hear back, they say there is no solution. When you ask to get HQ's contact information, they refuse to give it to you. I understand the need to turn a profit, but this is not a way to treat your clients. I have been with Spaces La Brea and the front desk there would go the extra mile to assist. Big difference between Marco & Trinity at the La Brea office and Devin & Christina at this Fairfax location. Very disappointing.

The security guard alerted me that, although there were plenty of members coming in and sitting already I, as a day pass holder, could not come in until 8am sharp. Apparently only members can come in between 6-8am even though on both their website and here on Yelp the operating hours start at 6am but, my bad, must have missed something. Ok, it's cold outside and I need to prep for my meeting - may I sit on the couch near the front desk, obviously set up for people waiting in the lobby for one reason or another. Not inside working with the members - just waiting by the desk. No, I could not sit in the lobby and wait to go in. He said I needed to wait outside the building until 8am. The manager was right there so I asked her - she also said no the policy is that no one except members can apparently be in the lobby until 8am - mind you the place is fully up and running- they were just being super strict and unreasonable. I went outside and prepped for my meeting until the gardener came and asked me to move so he could leaf blow the walkway. I was late to my meeting. I left as soon as I could- never again will I come here - and I actually had been interested to get more info about joining as a roaming member- but no thank you. Mind you, even when I have a bad experience somewhere I try not to leave 1 star reviews, but these folks are on another level of not giving a shit about their customers.

They offer a beautiful space that can be transformed into just about anything with state-of-the-art A/V systems and screen projections. For our particular event, there was a long table set up on the right side for a minimal offering of food while there was random furniture set up throughout the venue along with a couple of photo booths.
