Great energy from the other tenants and super friendly and helpful office management from Natalia who does a great job taking care of all of us and keeping us informed! Parking underground in the Equitable Building parking with monthly available (and convenient if you want to go to K-Town or H-Mart on evenings or weekends!).

The bathrooms, the co workspace and the kitchen are always clean. I've had minimal user error with the free printer that is provided and I enjoy being able to look out and see Pasadena City Hall from afar. Furthermore, the staff have been supportive, energetic and happy to help me whenever I have questions. For that matter Jeremy is THE MAN! Always helpful and always able to solve my issues. I'm very thankful that I decided to move away from working at home and start work at FoundrSpace. Because I really need home to be home and a place to work to feel more like work than a room in my home. I don't think that people have figured that out yet, but I know they will soon and I hope they find this review and find their new work office at FoundrSpace. Anyway, I plan to be here for quite some time, and I look forward to new neighbors that are focused on their businesses and ventures. Terrible experience here. I bought a day use pass for $40. I showed up a little after 7:30 in a…read morerush as I had a huge meeting I needed to facilitate at 8am (the whole point of me needing a coworking space). The security guard alerted me that, although there were plenty of members coming in and sitting already I, as a day pass holder, could not come in until 8am sharp. Apparently only members can come in between 6-8am even though on both their website and here on Yelp the operating hours start at 6am but, my bad, must have missed something. Ok, it's cold outside and I need to prep for my meeting - may I sit on the couch near the front desk, obviously set up for people waiting in the lobby for one reason or another. Not inside working with the members - just waiting by the desk. No, I could not sit in the lobby and wait to go in. He said I needed to wait outside the building until 8am. The manager was right there so I asked her - she also said no the policy is that no one except members can apparently be in the lobby until 8am - mind you the place is fully up and running- they were just being super strict and unreasonable. I went outside and prepped for my meeting until the gardener came and asked me to move so he could leaf blow the walkway. I was late to my meeting. I left as soon as I could- never again will I come here - and I actually had been interested to get more info about joining as a roaming member- but no thank you. Mind you, even when I have a bad experience somewhere I try not to leave 1 star reviews, but these folks are on another level of not giving a shit about their customers.

Over the years I have been at 3 co-working spaces in Pasadena and CTRL COLLECTIVE is far and away the best. Best location off of Arroyo. Best equipment -- good wifi and great quality computers in the event I need one. Most privacy when I need it for phone calls. Easy to use the printer when I need it as well. And Gia and the front desk staff are helpful and humane. I say humane because I can occasionally be a bit helpless and they are always very quick, kind, and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere is good and always work-friendly. A few years back I worked at a different coworking space in Pasadena and on weekends it would get very loud. Like, screaming kids loud. CTRL is really respectful and always helps me be productive.

I LOST a lot of Money with Dots Spaces - I had paid for a professional telephone answering…read moreservices for the whole year in advance. A number was provided by Dots Spaces and this number was then placed on our website, business cards and promo cards. The company initially kept my card on file despite that I had paid the whole year in advance and kept charging me every month and every month I had to write to them inquiring that why they were charging me, then go through the refund process until one day I had had enough, I shouldn't have had to deal with this sort of thing. By this time it was already halfway through the year so they removed my card but failed to pay for the line that they had already charged me for, thus the line got disconnected. I was then promised by Yoann (Owner) that the phone number will be recovered as I had already printed it on very expensive promo cards and business cards which was impossible for me to repeat! Moving on I felt reassured by Yoann as he called stating that he had got that exact number back and promised that he would take care of that account personally from then on so that this doesn't happen again. I then went on to promote and market the business, however by December I started to think that something was wrong and that why I didn't even have one inquiry despite all the marketing so I called the number and it was disconnected again, I think I was having a heart attack at the time from the shock. I called in again and this time discovered that they had not managed to get the original number that they had given me so they got a different number and didn't even bother to tell me!!!! I wrote to Yoann many times requesting of him to take responsibility for the damages he has caused me and truly only asked for a small portion of what I had lost, enough so that I could recover from all the losses but I never got any response of any kind, not even a simple apology! I had very high regards for Yoann but I'm now highly disappointed. This behavior is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
