I hosted a Postcrossing meetup here and the location was fantastic. It was very easy to book and the staff were very helpful and very nice to work with. I really appreciated that they called to let me know there would be a community event that might impact us. They even kindly put our drinks in the fridge so that we would have something cool to drink later and made sure the room was set up for us with ice water to drink. The room was a very comfortable meeting space and I heard many positive comments about it, plus the bathroom was nice and clean and cutely decorated. Thanks to Studious the meetup was a success! I liked the space so much, I'm thinking of coming back for a day-pass. The space looked very serene and a great place to work! Great vibes! I booked a conference room for the full day to do some annual planning with my co-founder. It went incredibly well, in large part because Studious really set the tone! Karli and Judy were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even went above and beyond and surprised us with a little basket of snacks and drinks from the kitchen during our break. I loved the thoughtful details: there were office supplies we could borrow like scrap paper, pens, pushpins. The conference room had a curtain you could draw over the glass doors to focus and block out chatter. The location was amazing, too! We were able to grab lunch and go for a walk in the area. Women and minority owned, dog friendly, trendy, minimalist, and unassuming coworking space in the heart of Chinatown! If you're introverted like me, you'll love this place because it's easy to tap in and out of conversations. The community is very inclusive and warm, and the dogs are so friendly and cuddly. The space has free wifi, plenty of desks, natural light, a couple mini kitchens, and conference rooms / event spaces. The usual caveat of Chinatown is parking - but there's free parking out front in the alley or free street parking within a couple blocks. They were very helpful in providing parking tips. The owners seem to be always accessible, and Judy, in particular, is a delight. She started off by touring the space, introducing the community, then checking in with me occasionally (often going out of her way). The true value in this coworking space is Judy and the community she curates. The events hosted at the space are often along the lines of community-building, inclusive, and empowering. For LA transplants (and even LA natives) looking for genuine and consistent connections, mellow and productive vibes, and just a home base to learn and explore the city, this place is a given 10/10! read more

An unassuming black building on a small side street when you approach it, but it's got a pretty nice ambience once you get inside. It's spacious and everyone's nice, the owner is very friendly and open to recommending spots for anything in the area. Wifi is workable and they have a kitchenette and plenty of workspace, both desks or communal tables. It's also dog friendly and there were a couple small dogs roaming around. Overall, it felt like a nice communal working space and on a hot day, the AC was nice. If you're looking for somewhere to work, I'd recommend checking this place out. It was my first time there and they made you feel very welcome - they allowed me to stay for free for the day to try the place out. They said they also have community activities occasionally, so that's a nice plus for those looking to make new friends. read more

Cozy and friendly coworking. I've been coming here for eight years when it was called KleverDog. It's much more local and personal than the big chains like WeWork. If I want to work, it's quiet, and the facilities are great. If I want to socialize, there are always people to have lunch with and events going on. Luckily I got to check out Studious Coworking Space in Los Angeles and I have to say, it had the coziest and warmest spaces I've ever came across. The owner Judy is awesome! She was really accommodating, welcoming and passionate about creating a friendly place for entrepreneurs and freelancers. The location was perfect, placed right in Chinatown, where there's plenty of cute stores and restaurants. Great places to take clients out for lunch. Throughout the whole block are little shops, so there's always something interesting to check out. I love how everything I need is just around the corner and especially, it's just a short walk from the Goldline Metro Station, which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city. The community is fantastic. Met a few awesome freelancers, who are just as passionate, where conversations here doesn't just feel like small talk. Just a great vibe to be in and around. The Works LA , and Founders Alex and Judy were kind enough to offer their space for a half-day Coalition meeting for ~12 people. Alex was super helpful, showed us to our assigned room, helped us set up the projector, and gave us a tour of the layout to ensure we knew where everything was. Our room had a breakfast bar, and plenty of counter spaces, desks and chairs! All-in-all it was a wonderful experience and a wonderful space! There are plently of shared open spaces with desks and couches, and some private rooms and offices upstairs and downstairs. Would definitely recommend! read more

I belonged to a ton of co-working spaces across LA before stumbling into this one. It's one floor. It's definitely not WeWork but that's why I like it. It's run and owned by amazing community minded people and co-workers. I know everyone in here. When I worked in other spaces, I never managed to really meet anyone. I have access to it 24/7. Also flexible leases. Free street parking is usually on Yale (just harder during Thursday and Friday morning street cleaning). And good food in the neighborhood. This is truly the only space in town that I will rent from. As a creative, I actually don't feel like I need to go rent a cabin in the woods or go into a creative retreats, this space suits me just fine. read more
