I called here seeking a one-person office suite in the coworking space to rent by the day, or possibly monthly. The woman I spoke to, assumedly the owner, was so rude. So, so rude. She acted as if I asked about the most ridiculous, uncommon, stupid service on earth. Actually, it's a pretty normal business model? Nearly every other "Coworking Space in Los Angeles" that comes up on Google offers day private office rentals, and monthly private office rentals? Your website would definitely mislead someone to believe you offer this service? She fairly stated that they don't have any 1-person suites available, only large person suites. The way she said it sounded like a lie, tbh, but maybe they only want to rent to larger operations right now, and that is fair! I can rent somewhere else; there are plenty of options out there, including nicer and newer places. That's not the problem. Her attitude was nasty. She was extremely dismissive, sounded like she was answering this call on her cell phone while getting in the car, and straight up verbatim told me that I was not worth her time. Her explanation of types of memberships were unclear, and the website is really old/2007-looking... I was so confused by this chaos. She then tells me about how she mans the property herself every day and doesn't like to work weekends. Uh, okay, your website said 24/7 access; it's not clear which tiers of membership offer that service. How am I supposed to know this? I'm a self-employed software developer looking for a private space to work close by 2-3x per week with weekend access. I call to simply ask about this, and I have an aggressive older woman telling me how much more important than me she is. This was a weird unsettling interaction with a pretty entitled woman. This is clearly a mom-and-pop operation, and I was seeking a modern workspace offering that they do not offer; however, poor customer service from the owner made me intentionally spend MORE money elsewhere. read more

Love this working space. I don't even need it really, I can get all my work done at home. That being said, I am SO glad I joined! For those moments that I need to get out of the house and focus, the Muse Rooms are perfect! Reasonably priced and great perks! The coffee along is enough to make me get up and out of the house. The interior design is comfortable and inspires creative thought. The best part, the owners are great! They're a fun couple with motivating personalities. I've been a member here for a couple of months and I absolutely LOVE it! I live in a studio apartment and do a lot of work from home and was starting to lose my mind not to mention productivity. I was also feeling like a weird shut-in doing projects in my PJs at odd hours of the day and night (sound familiar...) The Muse Rooms is exactly what I wished for. A quiet space with a funky and creative ambiance (I'd been going to the library and it felt uptight and rigid). There are just enough people to keep me from feeling isolated but quiet and low-key enough to feel like I can keep to myself and focus on my tasks without it being some big social scene. Everyone is friendly but it is definitely a WORK environment and everyone respects that. If you've been contemplating a co-working option, DEFINITELY take advantage of the free trial day and go check it out. Nancy who runs it is always available either in person or phone for questions. There is coffee and snacks, an outdoor space in the works, easy parking, plenty of work desks and fast Wi-Fi. In my opinion, it's a monthly expense I can't afford to NOT spend. I used the Muse Rooms as my primary office while working on a year-long editorial project, and had a wonderful experience. Not only is it a versatile space--I especially loved writing in the outside courtyard in the early morning--but the other members made for great coworkers: They understood if I needed to be heads-down, working in solitude, but they were also down for the occasional quick coffee break or chat. Everyone there respects their colleagues' individual creative processes and work demands. And they're all working on really cool stuff. Oh, and the owners are awesome! They respond quickly to any questions, and they're eager to help you with whatever you need. I've been a member here at the Burbank location for a little over three months now, and I LOVE this place! I'm a writer who gets distracted working at home, so going to this space has been a gift - I'm getting so much work done, and I'm inspired daily by all the cool artwork, knick knacks, murals, and fun furniture here. There's a multitude of rooms you can work in, all with ample charging nearby (both power outlets and USB), and there are several comfy couches with lap desks for when that inspiration hits. I love the quiet room - when I'm having trouble getting in the groove I work in there for a day and it does the trick! They also have a conference room for rent, which came in handy for me a few weeks ago, and a bar area with barstools. There are some nice private offices and dedicated desks, which I haven't used yet but would love to someday. The two kitchens are very nicely stocked with both coffee and tea, as well as snacks and some instant meal options - nice for when you forget your lunch. The other members are very respectful; they clean up after themselves and the noise level is either very low or completely silent. Nancy, the owner, is great - she's super friendly, quick with response times, and very accommodating. I went in for my free trial day (completely free, you should do it!) and I think it was her pleasant attitude as well as the space itself that convinced me to sign up. read more

An amazing place to do your own business. A regular membership allows for use of most of the spaces which are indoor or outdoor with great wifi & coffee !!! They have some private offices to rent, but I didn't need that. Just to drop in & do some quiet laptop work in a comfy & very cool space, easy parking, too. Probably the coolest office co-workspace I've ever seen. Several spacious creative rooms with fabulous comfy furniture. The art work & murals are simply incredible. A pretty famous muralist named Kiptoe created a dragon wall in the 'quiet room' & another amazing mural on a wall in the courtyard. Aside from how great the place looks, it is perfect for having privacy to get my work done without interruptions & Starbucks can't compete with the kitchen that is stocked with all the gourmet coffees, teas and more (complimentary with membership) to keep me happy while I work. In fact the room adjacent to the kitchen reminds me a little cafe, with lots of tables and chairs. The wifi is fast, the printers work, parking is easy & the owners are more than accommodating to fit whatever type of membership you might need. They advertise the 'comforts of home without the distractions' and honestly, I'd love to have a home this cool; You Really have to see it! They offer a free trial day. We rented out this space for a special event and it was great. There are several private offices at this venue and lots of open space that makes it feel very spacious. Unlike other co-working spaces that feel crammed, the Muse Rooms Burbank feels welcoming and very open. Snacks and kitchen access are well designed. There is even a extra quiet room for those times when you need to focus. Instead of going to cafes to work on creative projects, I come here. Internet is fast, lots of space to work in, and I find that I am more productive here than I am at cafes. If you need an office, to rent a space for a special event, or a co-working desk then I would recommend the Muse Rooms Burbank. read more

Just spent some time in location #2 of the Muse Rooms after several happy months of working in the NoHo location. Burbank has a similar vibe--colorful and comfortable environment that's set up for serious work (generous surfaces, comfortable chairs, good lighting, plenty of outlets). And it's significantly larger with a variety of work spaces, two kitchen areas, additional bathrooms, and a patio, plus private offices for rent (I peeked, and they're sweet--well-appointed, appropriate for meeting clients or for working solo or with partners). I love how both locations are quiet but friendly--people look up and give you a wave when you come in, and you can go to the kitchen for a chat, but everyone respects that people come there to focus and be productive. It's like a funky library crossed with a quiet coffee shop where you don't have to worry about asking anyone to watch your laptop when you go to the bathroom! read more
