I have been to Wet 'n Wild when it was Wild Water Kingdom prior to the rebrand which was over 15 years ago! I came back today with my daughters and have to say the place is like it was originally pretty dated with no renovations. The wave pool had so much little bumps I scratched my legs and foot several time! The surface is not smooth at all. The park hours are 11am-7pm. Come early!! This way you can get parking close to the entrance and it takes time for them to check your bags. You can't bring outside food or drinks. But you can bring in water bottles or reusable water bottles. We got there on a super hot weekend at 10:30am and it was already super packed. You still have to line up since they don't open the gate until 11am on the dot. Washroom: This had its own category because the washrooms are so disgusting! We got there right when it opened at 11am and all the washroom stalls you can tell was not cleaned at all. None of them were flushed and it was so gross. The Chang rooms were also also disgusting! One of the sink had vomit in it and was not taken care of. Rides: The rides was pretty disorganized. One ride we waited over an hour since there was only one lady minding 2 slides. The lazy river was packed . There was no order on how you get a tube for the river. It was so chaotic! The water itself was a bit murky in the pool, lazy river and wave pool. I try not to think about it being the germaphobe. Makes me wonder if it's ever cleaned. I make sure I took a full bath when I got home to wash it all off. The wave pool was pretty cool with large waves. Food: Lots of variety but very basic. You have your pizza, hot dog, hamburgers and fries. There's also a Subway Sandwich kiosk. Our popcorn chicken and fries took 30 mins and still came out cold! It must have been sitting there for awhile. They do have a Beaver tail place. My fav! For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a fried piece of dough with toppings on it. We got the one with the hazelnut spread, so good! Specials: 1. You can buy a one day pass and upgrade for $5 more a season pass for the rest of the season. 2. You can buy a refillable cup for $10 with a beverage in it and the refill is only $1.99 for the rest of the season. 3. You can buy a tub of popcorn for $10 and get $3 refills for the rest of the season. 4. You can get a icee for $12 and get $5 refill for the rest of the season. Tips: 1. Lockers starts at $15 for rental. What I would do is get a waterproof bag that goes around your neck for rides so you can put your phone, keys and credit card in it so you can carry it every where on rides so you don't have to rent a locker. 2. Go early to get a lounge chair. 3. Pre buy parking online to save $5 extra. 4. They take Apple Pay so you don't need your credit card if you have Apple Pay on your phone. It was a nice and super large water park. A bit disappointed that for the amount they charge They can't renovate the place or hire more people to clean the water and washrooms.

The band from a year ago that I still have to this day

Love it here and went here the second time because I had so much fun but it's only 4/5 because of the long line and a bit overpriced slushy. Would go here again :D. I still have it band from a year ago!

Took the whole department there... as there is not better place to go on a sunny hot day. The park is great as its all new with quite a few selection of rides. I loved the ride which drops you standing. Hence, rides alone would have given it a 5 star... But it gets costly...We went with groups of 15 or more Pre-Purchased Advanced Tickets option, where you can order tickets online and pay only $28.95 + HST per ticket. Then you still have to pay for parking at $ 13.27 + HST. Group Meal Deals may also be purchased in advance for $11.95 +HST but the entire park food places ran out of fries, onion rings on a week day. Also, the lockers were $15 for the smallest ones. Hence, it was quite expensive but rides were fun.

New water slides at Wet n Wild Toronto!

New slides at Wet N Wild Toronto! We went today and purchased our seasons passes. We opted for the Season Pass meal deal, too. The park wasn't yet open to swimming or sliding, so we went to the food court, where we could see most of the park. Many of the slides which were part of Wild Water Kingdom have been upgraded, and there are many new slides, including ones by the entrance (in this picture). The very steep and straight speed slides of yore (White Lightning and The Cliff) are gone. There are new kids slides and the kiddie area near the food court is all new. From where we were we couldn't tell if the old "green" slides have been rebuilt or merely painted. Mini golf is gone (yay) though the zip lines are still there. Everyone is doing their job for the first time, and so they're just figuring out how it all works. Much of the park is not yet paved, and we could observe workers installing the lockers. The change rooms look new! I think we're most excited to not have to go to the stinky old ones! We found the Facebook page was more accurate about details than the website. Whether the park will open next weekend (June 17-18, 2017) is still to be seen. Fingers crossed!

the park is great! I hoped it could be opened until end of september since the summer weather started later and I am sure we will have a warm september. I got the season passes and went with the kids yesterday. the park is great. The water is a little cold in the babies pool, and the floor in some pools are a little rough if you walk in barefoot. I also think the lockers are a little pricey and should be free or less expensive for season pass holders. Other than that is great.

Made a pulled pork poutine with mini sliders for the Yelp GTA's 5th Burtsday.
    Mirabella C.

Attending the Yelp GTA's 5th Burtsday, awesome venue. I would definitely come again on a normal day. The slides are pretty cool even though we can't go on them yet. The vendors set up a make-your-own-poutine bar, make-your-own-beavertail bar, and free alcohol tasting. Though I think it's just for the event but it's still pretty cool.

It's been a little while since I've been here and it was my first time in winter. It was cold! We had dinner at an AYCE buffet that was reserved for staff and their guests. Choices included turkey, breaded chicken, noodles, veggies, nachos, and more. The food was decent but our overall favourite was the squash soup - good flavour and perfect for the cold weather. After dinner, we wandered through the park, taking in some of the attractions. I was surprised to see so many of them open at this time of year, including one of the roller coasters. Huge kudos to the staff who were out in the frigid weather, especially in their costumes, and unheated attractions! Although WE were frozen, guests were having a great time, ice skating, enjoying all the attractions, especially the daily tree lighting show, and the food, even the frozen drinks! We had a great time but I could/should have dressed warmer. Next time...

Tips: - Canada's Wonderland is a cashless park. Bring debit…read moreand credit cards. - If you are at the Courtyard, it starts promptly at 1:30 pm and ends equally as promptly at 2:30 pm. Yesterday, I visited Canada's Wonderland (CW) as part of a work event. We were treated to a buffet-style lunch at the Courtyard. The experience included entrance to the amusement park, parking, and lunch. I was last at CW in 2018 as part of a Yelp event, which broke my two-decade streak being away from this amusement park. This time, it only took me just over seven years to return. I reviewed the event back then. I never reviewed CW in general. Now is the time! Our event was mainly a buffet-style lunch at the Courtyard. It was nice returning. It started promptly at 1:30 pm. I went ahead and filled my plate up with food: - Beef burger patty - Hot dog on a bun - Coleslaw and leafy salad - Barbeque chicken breast - Mac and cheese - Vanilla ice cream cups (2) My manager found me as I was heading to the fountain drinks and condiments area. I got to meet 75% of his family, along with relatives visiting from Hong Kong. I got a Diet Coke. The cup was small. I went back a couple of times to refill. It was cold and fizzy. However, it had a tinny taste to it. We got our photos taken by my software developer colleague. I was a part of helping him out as a mentor. Such relationships pay off! My manager's family abandoned him and sat at one picnic table that was covered. He sat with me as we chatted over a leisurely lunch. My thoughts about what I ate: - The burger patty was dry. It required a lot of Diet Coke to wash it down. I could have hit someone with it and done a lot of damage. Thank goodness I didn't. - The hot dog was plump and yummy. The bun was on the almost-hard side. Not quite stale, but not soft. Diet Coke was needed to wash the bun down. - The coleslaw and leafy salad were excellent. They were flavourful, especially with the Italian dressing. - I love mac and cheese. It was creamy, but bland. It was such a shame. It required some sort of sharp cheddar. - The vanilla ice cream was yummy. I got two. It would have been nice to have more flavours available. The Courtyard ceased all food and drink at exactly 2:30 pm. It was like clockwork. I used the washroom near the Courtyard and by the Wonderland store before I left. They were decent. Parking was straightforward. Sadly, I was behind a car of five people. There was an issue with making payment. I sat behind this car for five minutes as others readily got in. The nice man at parking scanned my QR code. You need the QR code for parking, entering the park, and hitting the Courtyard. Entrance to the Courtyard requires that you show the actual ticket either digitally or printed out. The QR code wasn't scanned. I lucked out. A car pulled out in the regular parking lot, a row before preferred parking. I backed into it and headed to the entrance. I don't remember a security line to get through the metal detector. It was new to me. There was a lineup, but it did move well. There was another checkpoint if you had a bag. I didn't, so I got to hit the entrance area. There was a wait. I got my QR code scanned. I needed to get a photo taken before I hit the park. I was here for a short period, as I had another event to go to. I was satisfied doing what I did for three hours. I always need an arcade. I was content playing Pac-Man, hoops, and Skee-ball. You need to load a card with credits to play. I worked up a sweat. I got a bottled Diet Coke, which was $5.50. You expect expensive drinks and food here. I will say that it was icy cold and I had no complaints. I caught a diving show at Arthur's Baye in Medieval Faire. It was awesome! Wonderland has a good mix of food stands, gift shops, rides, candy stores, and more for any age. Bumper cars and the Bat are some of the rides that remain solid park staples. AlpenFury is the newest ride. It's a multi-launch roller coaster. This ride has been marketed as Canada's tallest, fastest, and longest launch coaster, featuring nine inversions and launching roller coaster fans out of Wonder Mountain. I did not do any rides. My parents need me in one piece as my mom continues to heal after surgery and recovery. There are plenty of places to take a breather and sit down after walking the park. I sat in front of Leviathan to drink my Diet Coke before soaking up more of the park. I hit the Wonderland store to get a souvenir. There were a lot of Peanuts merchandise, from mugs, to t-shirts. There were also Leviathan merchandise and CW-branded items, such as tumblers. I got a small Charlie Brown plushie. I don't own many of this Peanuts character. This plushie is my second Charlie Brown one. The weather was perfect. It was 23°C and partly sunny. I had a great time. It would have been nice if I had more time here, but I enjoyed the few hours that I had here to have lunch, play arcade games, and get a plushie as a souvenir. (303)

Pros: - I came around noon and there were no lines for any of the slides or the lazy river. Cons: - Limited amount of rides. There are 6 waterslides, 1 lazy river and 1 wave pool. They can get boring pretty fast - Food was expensive in addition to admission. Entry is around $22 (for adults) and food is around $10. Lockers are $5 and tube rentals are close to $10 (you don't need a tube luckily). Going with a family could get expensive.

Not sure if hearing gunshots from the kiddie area or water park is appropriate in this day and age but OK. The waterpark stole the show for me. There are slides or pools for every age. Other guests were nice and staff were helpful. The water park was perfect. There is nothing better than being inside in wonderfully warm water while watching a blizzard outside. The wave pool was the biggest hit with my 3 elementary age kids. Of course they were big fans of the water slides too. We actually spent way less time in the water park than I thought we would, and way more time doing Magi Quest which is a big interactive scavenger hunt. It wasn't really my thing, but it seemed like every parent was a part time Magi Quest coach, and the kids like it so that's what matters. (Here are my Magi Quest tips- actually read the Ancient Book of Wisdom and ask the fairy questions if you feel stuck.) The buffet food was totally decent. If you don't want to leave the lodge, it's probably worth it to get the inclusive meal tickets. There are a few other dining options on site, like a boba place, a pizza place, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Prices were not exorbitant compared to other tourist places imo. There is one restaurant inside the water park which I would skip unless you really don't want to leave the water park. It was sort of movie theater type quality of food at the water park restaurant. Definitely get the Paw Pass; it was totally worth it. Oh my favorite thing about the resort were the bracelets which are waterproof and function as a room key and payment system- SO efficient. Now you don't have to worry about bringing your wallet everywhere, losing your room key, etc. More cruises and other resorts need to do this. Do bring a Sharpie so your kids stuff doesn't get all mixed up. Also, bring water bottles- there are fillup stations at restrooms. If you never want to leave the resort you don't have to. They have everything there. If you feel like a quick excursion, we did Dollarama for some souvenirs and snacks, the Mandarin for dinner, and a drive past the Falls at night so the kids could see the lights. We didn't request any housekeeping while we were there. There were plenty of towels, extra trash bags, pillow etc, so we just did our own and it was fine. Overall it felt like a cruise on land. We would definitely do it all again!
