This is the only shop that we took our doodle to, to get him groomed. And I must say that Caleb, and only Caleb, did a great job with him. ( The others that groomed him were awful. ) We had a problem that we addressed with management at one point, and were not dealt with in a professional manner. My wife was snapped at by the management, and that's all it took for me to look for another groomer. I found Rheya's Grooming on Mitchell Bold. Wow. What a great job they do. And at a much better price. I mean a much better price. Rheya has our business for life. I am so glad that we had a problem with this groomer so as to find a really good one. read more

The groomers here are impatient and very rough with the animals. Used to be a halfway decent place but like most groomers around here it's gone downhill. Do not send your pet here unless you want to pick them up with cuts or bruises. read more

Was a little apprehensive about this place since not many reviews - but I will not take our boy Murphy anywhere else from now on! Murphy is a 1 1/2 yr old golden retriever and still pretty skiddish with baths and grooming. They did AMAZING. Nails cut, toes trimmed, all washed, and looking so handsome!!! 2 "problem" pets were nothing for the professionals at Wet Your Whiskers. My 16 year old poodle/papillon mix is just a grumpy old thang! He has old man bumps, hardly any teeth and thanks to COVID-19 about 5 months with no grooming other than what I could (more like could not) do. He was a mess. 2nd pet is a white she devil masquerading as a cat. She was shedding more than my 2 German Shepherds ever could. Huge white chunks of cottony fur everywhere...I swear there were mornings I woke up with the ability to automatically floss my teeth with the amount of fur the cat left on my bed that ended up in my mouth. Enter the superheroes at Wet Your Whiskers! The safety measures in place are impressive. Prices are very reasonable (I'd have paid double for the cat alone!) The groomers not only listened to what I put I had, they actually did exactly as I asked. They do a fantastic job! They were awesome! My husband and I are truck drivers and our baby (Bubba. An 80lb pit bull) got loose and rolled in mud. We called and they got us right in. Even though Bubba was a little scared they did a great job with him and he was happy and smelled great and his whites were white again when we left. We will definitely come back the next time we're in town. Brooke P. Took extra care to make Bubba feel secure and he was wiggly and smiling at the end. This place has got bad over time and getting worse as time goes on. They now charge a walk in fee which isn't posted anywhere. We called up today to try to arrange a drop off between first and second shift work schedules and they said just drop the dog off after work, never mentioned anything about an appointment being needed or walk in fee. read more

I have been treated rudely the last 3 times I was in there. I have taken my dogs there since the beginning but after todayi will be finding a new groomer. Prices have gone up alot in the last few years, several bad cuts that had to be fixed and split nails. I did call to discuss it and my concerns were disregarded. This place started off good, but has gradually gotten worse. Although they do a great job with the grooming, the people working the front (the so called "manager" especially) was very rude after a discussion about how we are charged a different price for the exact same service each time we go in. We have even had this discussion with the owner, who said she would put a note in our file about it. But alas, it has happened a FIFTH time now. When we addressed it with the manager, she said that is what they charged and would not explain why our total was always different. She was very rude and condescending to us and didn't seem like she cared at all even though she said in a not-so convincing tone that "we care about all of our customers ". Obviously you don't or you wouldn't treat them that way. So sadly we will not be going there anymore, not that they probably even care. I would rather pay extra than to have to deal with that rude Karen again. read more

After having amazing service for almost two years, I will no longer take my dog to Wet Your Whiskers. I had a horrible experience yesterday. I explained exactly what I was wanting done to my dog when I made my appointment - as I usually do; however, this time, I was told they would not have time to do what I needed done and that they could not do what needed to be done - after 3 hours of working on my dog. My dog is a Newfoundland and I am used to them charging $100 for his service. This time, they charged $120 and he looked like he had just been given a bath; not trimmed as I requested. The worst part was the manager's lack of professional, conflict resolution skills. I was told he needed to be brought back in 4-6 weeks later - I guess so that they could work on him some more? He still had mats in his fur and I was very disappointed with the work they performed on him. This is so shocking after having such wonderful experiences thus far. I do not know the name of the manager I spoke with, but she should not be in that position. She was blaming me for them not being able to perform the satisfactory service I am used to getting from this establishment. read more

I have been taking my dog there for about 6 months. Their prices always vary for the same service. One of my dogs goes there to get a haircut the other I took there one time for a bath. The one time bath has cost me so much more than what they charged me. Apparently he came home with extreme moisture in his ear. Obviously we didn't notice until he showed signs of an ear infection. We took him into the vet and she said if we would have waited two more days he would have lost all hearing in that ear. I walked out with a 150.00 vet bill. He's four years old and has never had an ear infection. He has had a few flare ups since then which cost me around 50.00 each in vet bills. I will never take him there again! I do still take my other dog for a haircut. They had done a decent job of shaving her down until this last time. She was given to me with an open wound on her leg. They usually do not shave her legs. This time she had a big bald strip on the back of her front leg leading up to an open wound at the top. I picked her up and they didn't say anything about it. I didn't notice until I got home. She was lying on the carpet and when she got up there was a blood stain. Needless to say I will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend them for anything! Some other places have a longer wait list, but it's worth it! I started going here because they could almost always get me in the next day. Beware!! read more
