This park right now is just set up for archery and remote control airplane things but there are plans for a walking trail in the future. Set up nice. Space for many archers and it has a shelter house. read more

If you want bargain basement pricing and big box customer service, then go somewhere else. Cleland's offers personalized advice and service. It is a family run business and most members of the family are experts in their field. They are well respected in this area - for many good reasons. As a never-before gun owner a few years back, I relied on them to guide me to the firearm best suited to me and my needs. I was very pleased with the process. They also offer many different classes in house - firearms for beginners, advanced, non-lethal defense, CCW. In fact, I recently took their CCW course and was amazed at the volume of information I learned and the expertise with which it was taught. Highly recommended. Cleland's is a complete outdoor hunting/archery/firearms/non-lethal defense outfitter with an extremely knowledgeable staff. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned sportsperson, you won't be disappointed.

Despite being cleared under identical circumstances just weeks to months prior. The manager Jan and the crew get the benefit of the doubt regarding the denial itself as thats not their call, but their lack of compassion and compensation is unacceptable. They sold my fully paid rifle, kept the entire profit, and offered no percentage of the profit they unfortunatly made from my major misfortune. As a young father needing protection for my newborn son, Roman, losing my life savings and that essential security was devastating. They definetly did not care to keep me protected or retain my business with any urgency or generousity. I expected accountability for this unresolved transaction before the store closed, but I received none.

Our group arrived around 10 am on a Saturday, just after an actual class was finishing up, and we were able to start immediately after a bit of hassle with paying (be forewarned: they only take cash). Given that none of us had ever shot a bow before, we were apprehensive at first, but the instructor was very understanding, and even stated immediately that his first priority was safety, and secondarily to improve our technique. He seemed rather strict, but I know it was so no one ended up with an arrow to the knee. In particular, he was extremely clear about when we were to shoot and even how to safely remove the arrows from the targets. Internally, I laughed because I've been to gun ranges with less detailed focus on safety. Once the group had shot a few rounds, the real fun began: he gave us some historical background on how commanders would command archers to loose their arrows, and even had us reenact the scene by having the bachelor issue the same commands to our group! If that's not a good start to a bachelor party, what is?

This is what I call a country-club mini-golf course; i.e., it features no windmills or clowns but…read moreis set up more like a real golf course. There are water, sand, and rock hazards, doglegs, and undulations. Many holes require banking off a side-slope rather than traditional ricocheting; in fact, ricochets are a crap shoot here because most of the bumpers are curved and made of short bricks, so there are any number of unpredictable deflections that can occur. Some of the bumpers have open spots into the "ponds" and "creeks" so that you really have to be careful how you direct the tee shot. That being said, it's not a terribly difficult course. Par is 40 and I came in at 43 (I managed to stay out of the hazards, a couple of times by mere luck). One problem--they have flag pins which they require you to leave in. Twice I hit the stick on my first shot, and I consider that a robbery of a potential hole-in-one! The course is a lot of fun if you are satisfied with reading a tricky fairway and giving it your best shot. If you want gimmicks, you won't find them here. The maintenance is decent: no worn spots on the carpet, very few bits of small debris on the course, nice landscaping. There was plenty of running water here but it smelled of sulphur. The balls and clubs are in good condition, too. One other neat thing--at each tee they have a trivia question about the state of Ohio. The answers are printed on the back of the scorecard. Nice touch. I was there on Labor Day around 1:30-2 pm and there were only three couples ahead of me and one family of five following. I'm used to having to wait at most mini-golf courses. All in all, for $5 this is a good time and a great value.

The climbers and bouncers were a hit and the young ones raced to be the first to try them. We even awarded special stickers to anyone in our group who visited all six playgrounds.
