It has a nice pavilion for eating lunch and restrooms. There is a nice walking section around the park. The fossil area is easy to get to with many signs explaining what to look for. My kids were excited that they found fossils right away. Mostly shell looking fossils plus some pieces of coral. We each brought home a small bag of items to sort through. Since everything was money it was hard to rinse anything off there so we had to wait until we get home to see what we found. Lots of things that we still need to research. Highly recommend them adding a sluice style washing area like the gem mining setups you see at campgrounds. Plus a great playground.

Unfortunately the day we came here the park was closed and the gate was chained. UPDATE: we are back on December 28th 2024 and the Park is open!! And it is even better than I thought it was. Poop bag dispensaries in trash cans are spaced all around as well as benches to sit on. The entryway is a nice concrete double-gated entry that has exits to both the big and small dog park.
