Beware vendors! I was very disappointed in this event. It is…read moreunprofessional, and very few people turned up. I felt sorry for the vendors who paid to have a booth here, because it was a sad, sad showing. The only people who likely got their money's worth were the people who organized the event and charged vendors hundreds of dollars to set up their tables. I attended the bridal show as a vendor on October 11, 2014. I decided to pay to have "bag stuffers" given out to all the brides who came to the event. I provided 300 "bag stuffers" -A flyer or a brochure, or an advertisement of my choice- to be put in each of 300 "bride bags". In the end, only 225 of these were actually given away, because only 225 people showed up. And they weren't given away to just brides - they were given to everyone who walked in the door... parents, friends, bridesmaids etc. If you're a wedding vendor, you know what this means. For the most part, wedding services are only sold to the actual couple getting married. For example, only one wedding cake, DJ, or wedding gown is going to be purchased for any given wedding. So, having your advertising dollars wasted on people who aren't the ones getting married makes no sense. After the event, I sent email to the organizers requesting a refund for the amount of services not rendered -approximately $50. I got no reply.
