Always a great pizza. It's the only place I go in town. Just tried both the BHam and Ferndale location and both are good.

The staff was very kind and friendly and had my pizza ready when I arrived. The place overall looked clean. The pizza is priced well and they offer a loyalty type program which I always love to see. I appreciate when businesses treat their regulars to a little surprise. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and there was a good balance of toppings. Not too many. Not too little. Just enough. The sauce I felt needs some improvement. To me, the sauce is the essence of the pizza. This sauce was just that, tomato sauce from a can. I was hoping to see a sauce made of different spices and herbs and something that set them apart from other pizza chains. Unfortunately, I did not receive that. I would love to try them again if they invested some time in curating an exclusive secret recipe, you're part of the club, type sauce for their pizzas. read more

I used to order a lot from this place, but no longer. I was hungry the other night and put a pizza in the cart and was getting ready to pay. After all the assorted fees, it was $30. There is no way I'm going to pay $30 for a small pizza. I'm giving them 2 stars because the pizza is decent, but now its so overpriced they've lost me as a customer. read more

We ordered calzones and chicken wings. The calzones had no marinara, as selected on both. Three ingredients included, but you were lucky if you found an ingredient besides cheese in each bite. The bottom was undercooked. The chicken wings were ok, but wouldn't order them again. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. read more

No better than Dominoes at 2x the price. If you are expecting something that actually looks like the website Pizza you will be VERY dissapointed. As far as I can tell there was a dusting of very small pieces of meat and I would almost expect to see this in the frozen food isle. When calling to ask if I go the corect order I was hung up on. Wanted to give 1 star because the pizza was so disappointing, but the service was really good and the people working there were very nice. I felt I had to give 2 stars for that service, even though this was the worst pizza I recall eating for quite a long time. The mediocre pizza was extremely doughy, out of balance, with hardly any sauce and cheese or toppings on the top. Flavors were bland and poor too. The cost seems lower than some other options, but so seemed the quality and taste. It just wasn't enjoyable and in my view a mistake. I think I would rather cook frozen pizza at home, as many of those are still much better than this made fresh. It was edible and that is about it. Tasted like the quality of pizza one would get at a convenient store, school cafeteria, or gas station. read more

So the latest edition to the pizza takeout community in Ferndale is just okay. We tried it last night and were impressed with the car side service but the food quality was lacking. We ordered a large Meatlovers pizza and wings. The pizza was okay, I liked the softness of the crust and the amount of sauce was perfect (I don't like too much sauce such that the toppings slide off) but I think it could have used more cheese and meat. The meat products were chopped up? I didn't see anything that resembled a round pepperoni or Canadian bacon, weird. Overly processed like a frozen pizza. The wings were good. They come plain and you toss or dip them yourself. They only have two sauce options- BBQ and Frank's Hot Sauce. I liked that they weren't breaded. Decent pizza and wings. We have been here several time now and done both delivery and pick up, everytime it has been a great experience. Timing for the orders being ready has been spot on, people super friendly and the food is soooo good. I have gotten the garden salad and tailored it to what I wanted, they don't skimp on the toppings and I love they put the warm chicken separate so it doesn't wilt the lettuce. The pizzas have great crust we have had both the thin and the regular as well as different topping options. From full of meat to vegetarian they all were fantabulous I think this is our go to place now. The only thing we have ever gotten and were not to impressed by was a calzone, it just didn't have a good crust to filling ratio. If you go there to order you can use the waiting time to check out the store next door before you know it your food is ready. read more

Absolutely the WORST pizza/meal I've had in years!!! I can't believe they even put this garbage in a pizza box. I paid $2.00 for mushrooms and there were 2 pieces on the entire pizza. I'm shocked an employee would send something out the doors like this. $22.00 for a cracker with virtually no meat toppings on their "Meat Mania"??? I have to believe the employees did this on purpose. There is no way a pizza restaurant would ever, ever send this garbage out the door. Absolutely no PRIDE in their product or what they are serving to the paying public. Whoever made this pizza should definitely find any other way to make a living. Making pizzas is not your thing. I'm giving 3 stars and that's just for the pizza. 4 stars for the shop itself and service. The ordering process was easy over the phone and the guy was super helpful and polite. Even gave a discount for being a first time order. Pick up was easy and the place is spotless. So the pizza reminded me of PizzaHut, esp the way the toppings were chopped up. The crust also did. Certainly not greasy like PH but the same sort of fluffy thickness. And also the cheese was meh, not really any flavour at all. I just ordered off the menu, the Westside special, so maybe that was the issue? Next time I will make up my own pizza and see if it tastes less factory-like. Their take out menu says they have pasta and calzones and salad and wings. I didn't see anything like that when I was there. Another bonus is that they deliver. So we'll wait a few weeks and try it again. read more

I bought a Meat Mania Pizza for $32.00 and after getting it home I should have just gotten Dominoes. Nothing other than cheese around the edge 3 inches in and even then you might say "lightly dusted" with small bits of unrecognizable something but nothing whatsoever even CLOSE to what is was supposed to have on it. read more

When I went to grab the pizza from the delivery guy he smelled really bad. Because he was really late, I only tipped him a dollar. He didn't say thank you for the tip and as he was leaving he honked his horn and flipped me off. I think his name was Chasen. Also the pizza was not that good for the price. The cheese was rubbery and the crust was dry. I suggest going to Little Caesar's instead. read more

Well, I live with no pizza delivery (sad face). Good thing Westside is only 15 minutes away in Ferndale. Online ordering was a breeze..Death by Pizza, large, well done crust, sub jalapeños for pineapple, marinara & normal cheese. I've never had the option of well done crust before and I thought it was a capital idea since we normally get thin crust. This particular pizza has LOTS of toppings so I chose the hand tossed to handle the load. I chose well. The crust was not too thick, not too thin and perfectly crispy for hand tossed. The toppings were fresh and abundant; even the jalapeños. I must say this was one of THE BEST pizza's I've ever had to go pick up..LOL. I chose my pick up time for 6:30 pm and arrived about 6:22...by the time the owner checked me out it was boxed up and ready to go--HOT & FRESH! BOOM!! The owner was delightful and friendly with a great sense of humor. We will definitely be "repeat offenders" at Westside Pizza in Ferndale because the signature pizza was GREAT so the rest of them should be quite tasty as well. read more
