The doctors seem decent, the nurses and especially the receptionists, not so much. The customer service/relations department is completely absent, as they talk down to you. They allow the fathers to come inside if they pass the temperature & COVID19 screening test, and wear a mask. Even after following all the necessary and over-protective procedures, as soon as they called mom in for her appointment, they made dad wait in the car because they were "just trying to space everyone out". Mind you, it was just me and one other person in the lobby, and we were at least 20 feet apart (with masks). I don't know if it's simply paranoia, or just plain sexism in this place, but either way this business sucks because of it. If you want to kick me out, don't lie to my face about spacial distancing. read more

Based on other online reviews, this looked liked a practice that would best suite my personal needs. That being said, I scheduled an appointment here for my annual pap. It took about 2 weeks before I could get it to see Dr. Badman. It was worth the wait; Dr. Badman was very nice (I wasn't rushed and all if my questions were answered) and the rest of the office staff was great, too. The building itself was very nice, clean (on the outside and inside), modern and spacious with lots of room in the waiting area. I'd still be a client if I hadn't moved from the area. Highly recommend if you're searching for a new OBGYN. I can only speak on behalf of my experience with one doctor, but there are many (all female I believe) at this location accepting new patients. Plan ahead and book well enough in advance because you're likely to be waiting awhile for a non-emergency appointment. read more

Let me just say. Dr. Mazdai is amazing. Everything about this practice is just awesome. From the ultrasound tech's to the blood draw staff, down to the office staff and nurses--I can't say better things about this practice! After having 4 kids (3 in 3 years...) I spent lots of my time in this office. Everyone is caring and totally professional. Dr. Mazdai is my savior! She delivered all 4 of my babies and I am forever grateful for her care! She got me in to a general surgeon after my 3rd baby when my gallbladder gave up. She treated me for broken ribs and pneumonia with my 4th. I'm done having babies..but I can honestly say I look forward to my next pap smear! And that is a statement I thought I would NEVER make. Thanks Westside Physicians for Women! I was looking for a new OBGYN group on the west side. I chose this practice based on reviews I read online. After calling and making an appointment for an annual exam, I was given the choice to see a doctor (2+ weeks out), or see a physicians assistant (within 5 days). I chose the PA and I am really glad that I did. Amber Miller did my exam and I have never had a more thorough doctor's appointment. Amber took the time to ask questions about my medical health, understand what my needs were and offer her advice. She was polite, informative and had a natural rapport that made me feel very comfortable. I was also impressed at the staff's readiness to make followup appointments for me. Dr Van Donselaar has been my OB since 2016. I was new to town & took an ER doctor's recommendation. She is phenomenal. I saw her throughout my entire pregnancy both times. She delivered both my babies and kept me calm the entire time both times. She's knowledgeable, caring, understanding, & puts your best interest and health first. We have since moved over an hour away, but that won't stop me from continuing to see her! I love Laurie! read more

Dr.Badman is great. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Being a first time mom I wasn't sure what to expect but she eased me through my entire pregnancy and delivery with a ton of guidance and support. If I still live in Indiana when we have our next child, I will definitely plan to keep Dr. Badman as my doctor. In the meantime, I will keep seeing her for my regular checkups. read more

I was looking for as holistic and flexible-thinking gynecologist as I could get as I tend to go more towards the complementary medicine side of things. I scored big-time and was so blessed to have an appointment with Dr. Laurie Van Donselaar, DO. I love that she has a policy where when you first meet with her you are fully clothed and not sitting there all vulnerable in revealing exam outfit. She listened fully to my concerns, was very empathetic and compassionate, went over a scan that had me scared and reassured me that it wasn't anywhere as bad as it sounded, and will be in partnership with me according to my schedule of any future tests, etc. I couldn't have been more relieved and pleased to have met her and now have her on board as a gynecologist as needed in the future. I also like that they do their own ultra sound scans and you immediately receive the results rather than to have nail-biting days in-between. The staff at the center was wonderful, efficient and caring. I arrived at 8:55 for a 9:00 am appt and my name was called at 9:00. Can't get better than that! read more
