Industrial looking facade, and cool lanes inside
Jeffrey T.

We love Westport for all the right reasons -- candle pin classic New England style bowling. No frills. Clean place, really sweet people who work here. We're always greeted kindly and leave happy.

Still 1968 in this bowling alley. Affordable fun. The jukebox is way too expensive though. Their staff is always kind.

Came here for dinner the other night. Had a pizza and potato skins. The food was good but the…read moreservice was subpar at best. Despite not being overly busy it took the waitress forever to greet us. After she took our order she said she would get us plates but never did. The wait was ridiculously long and some other woman threw a plate of skins on the table and immediately walked away. No plates. One tiny sour cream for two people. We tried to wave our waitress and this other woman down but they were too involved in personal conversation and going back into the kitchen. I had to go to the host and ask her if she could bring us plates and get our waitress, but then I noticed the plates on the shelf and was able to self serve. The hostess was able to get us the sour cream. I'm not a monster so I still tipped 20% but I low key wish the tip went to the hostess instead.

This is my second visit to Junction Bowl…read more I just popped in after a full day at work for Apps and a Brew. I was able to get a spot out front, plenty of street parking with no fees, and walked right in. Staff is friendly and prompt. I was able to just mozy up to the bar. Bar tender was prompt, took my order and I had a frosty drink in less than a minute. Ordered fried pickles and they were out in about three sips of my Pumpkinhead. They have a huge variety of draft, cans and plenty of alcohol to choose from. This includes, cider and GF options from lucky pigeon. The fried pickles are crispy, and the dip enhances the taste of the fried pickles. The full bar has seating on three sides and there are TVs everywhere you look. We are in the same room as the bowling lanes and there are twelve of them. There is seating in a separate room if you want. All in all a friendly, comfortable place to sit and rest your feet. Come on down

I used to really like this place. It has a great selection of game, however the prices have gone up…read moreso much I can't really recommend it. It used to be really affordable, 20 bucks used to get so many points I couldn't use them all. But now the majority of machines cost over 10 points to use. The chicken tenders are SO good for no reason I swear they put crack in it. The staff are always friendly which is a plus. Games are crammed into this space and it's sensory hell for some people. It's so loud you have to yell for your friends to hear you.

My family and I have been several times and have generally enjoyed our time. It's very, very loud…read more There are a variety of games my kids both really enjoy, the concessions are pretty good, and the prizes are... well, they're prizes. Haven't tried the billiards or bowling yet. However, today I had a very poor customer service experience in the prize area. My partner got a pillow/plush item and the cashier failed to end that transaction before starting to scan my items - the first of which he could not identify and didn't seem to know how to look it up in the computer or the binder. After realizing his mistake, he insisted I needed to get my partner's card before he could fix it. What if the previous customer had been a stranger? Several minutes later, he finally sought a manager and the issue was eventually resolved. All of this would have just been simply frustrating and I wouldn't have gone on the company website to complain and wouldn't have jumped on yelp to update my review here. However, the cashier also misgendered myself and my partner more than a dozen times directly to my face and in conversation with his manager and a third employee, all in front of multiple customers. Abhorrent behavior. Tainted my experience today at Round One and has me thinking twice about returning in the future.

Walking in feels like accidentally time-traveling into a casino that lost a fight with an arcade…read more Low ceilings? Check. Old carpeting? Absolutely. Dim lighting? You bet--literally. I don't know how to describe it except to say: it's a casino. Plot twist: it's not two levels. It's three. Like a casino lasagna. Every floor is more machines, more blinking lights, and more moments of "wait... where am I?" Yes, you use coins--as it should be. None of this "unlimited play" nonsense. You put in $20, get a pile of coins, and suddenly every game feels meaningful. Even the 80s games cost coins, which honestly just adds to the thrill. Did I expect nostalgia to be free? No. And I respect that. Prize strategy tip: if you want to win big, slot machines are your friends. This place knows what it's doing. Skill, luck, commitment. A journey. We came searching for a game called something like Dragon King? King Dragon? Royal Lizard? Not sure. We never found it. The casino consumed us first. Bonus points: there's free pizza during breaks, which I only discovered because I accidentally started applying for a job there. Competitive wages, paid breaks, flexible schedules. Suddenly the casino is offering real benefits. Final verdict: chaotic, nostalgic, coin-fueled joy. Five stars. No notes. Would I go back? Yes. I think the casino chose me.

Funspot is an absolute blast. So many games and so many memories packed into one place. They've got…read moreeverything--from old consoles and classic arcade games to new stuff that keeps it fresh. Super easy to get tokens too ($20 gets you 110, which lasts a while since old-school games are just 1 token and newer ones run 2-4). I had a great time on Burgertime and pinball--though I wish they had the Addams Family, Millionaire was still a fun one. Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: make sure to head across the street to 603 Sweets after--perfect way to end the day.
