He suggested that the problem was to do with my SSD. He let me know he will repair it and replace the SSD with a new one with more GB over the weekend and install Windows 10 on it and have my system boot up to the new SSD he installed while my old SSD acted as a hard drive so I can transfer old data I had to the new SSD. Got my computer back and I was happy with it for a month as my ram usage was down and it felt like it was performing better. However, my computer started to have the same issues again but it got even worse to the point where I would get the blue screen of death right away after I just started my computer. So I decided to go to Jon's Computer Repair near my local area and I dropped off my laptop there. An hour later he calls me saying that he opened my laptop and checked my motherboard and he found out that the SSD the MIT computer repairs person installed was a cheap Chinese SSD that he does not recognize and the way someone installed it was horribly done and it looks like someone who doesn't know how to repair computers has done this job. He also let me know that the cause of the problem was a RAM issue, not an SSD and I should be using the old and better SSD that I already had when I bought the laptop. So he reverted it back so that my laptop boots up to my old SSD and removed the cheap Chinese SSD. He also cleaned up a lot of dust that was there which the MIT Computer owner never cleaned up even though another cause of the problem was a lot of old dust can overheat the laptop which leads to the blue screen of death. He also checked my RAM and ran tests and removed unnecessary software that was taking up a lot of my RAM. After that, I watched tutorials on how to put a new memory stick onto my laptop and just did it myself and my computer has been performing so much better with no issues. Don't go to this guy since he actually made my computer worse with a low-quality SSD, installed Windows 10, and charged me 180 dollars. Told us he can take either cash or credit but doesn't charge tax for cash (Obviously trying to avoid his taxes). He also asked if I don't use my laptop anymore, he would take my laptop for the parts as he said the hardware quality like memory and CPU was really good. Makes you wonder why he would replace the SSD with a lower-quality Chinese SSD from AliExpress.
