We heard a noise underneath the vehicle for a a few days and took it to this business. They were fantastic. They diagnosed it as needing new front struts, alignment, and links for the struts. I ended up stranded in West Virginia, because my car broke down in the middle of the highway. Fortunately, I was able to Yelp auto repair shops in the surrounding area before my car was towed. Thanks to Yelp reviews, I chose this repair shop. Because it was a holiday weekend, most places were closed or working short hours. This auto shop was open until noon on Friday. The schedule was booked. I was told that they would try to help me out of courtesy. All I can say is that the experience here was AMAZING. The staff were very comforting in their ability to fix my car. The car problem was diagnosed early on. They had the car part on hand. I was told the pricing up front. I was guided into the waiting room to relax. LITERALLY TAKEN CARE OF EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. The workers here really know their stuff! I had a problem with the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR...something that most auto shops wouldn't of figured out. My car was repaired and ready to roll in 1 hr. I drove out from West Virginia on a football weekend for another 10 hours without problems. Price for everything included was VERY REASONABLE. Let's face it, everyone knew I was stranded! My husband and I took our vehicle to this car repair shop, hoping that we would get honest pricing and good service. We dropped it off that morning to have our brakes looked out, we knew prior to taking it there that it would( at least)need the rear brake pads replaced. I called back to ask of that had time to do a oil change, which they did for us. After the oil got changed they called for us to pick the vehicle up stating that we needed new rotors on the front and back, and that it would cost around 750.00 dollars. We had another shop look at it, not only did it not need rotors at all, but their service was faster and the prices didn't even compare to what this place quoted. Went through Discount Tire in early December 2017 for new tires mounted and balanced as well as an alignment. Tires were the right price and came in in a timely manor. Went in to have the service done which ended up taking 4 hours. Wasn't speedy by any means but also not terrible and not my complaint at all. The issue came with the alignment on the vehicle. While I was charged for an alignment, it was done poorly if at all. I am very handy with vehicles and took one look at it when it came out and knew it was not right. It was evident looking at the vehicle that the toe angle as well as camber and castor were all out. I went back in and told them about it and they sent a tech out to look at it who told me it was fine and all due to a loose tie rod end. The steering wheel was also not straight which I can also deal with but was nearly 45 degrees off vertical which was a bit ridiculous and told me the alignment wasn't done properly. Being as I am a student up here I took the vehicle home over break to a shop I trusted and have used for years at home. They spent nearly 3 hours on the vehicle trying to reverse what Discount tire had done. The owner told me it was the worst alignment he had seen. Toe and camber were out nearly 4 degrees after I was told from the first alignment everything was in spec. The new shop had to remove and realign the alignment cams as they were put on with lobes not being aligned so the cams would seize. They also had to readjust and fix the tie rods as this alignment had the steering rack out of center causing the toe and steering wheel issues. 3 extra hours of work for barely over what the alignment from discount tire cost me. Would not recommend nor use again after the quality of service received. read more

This shop is just right down the street from me, but honestly I'd make any sort of reasonable drive to have these guys work on my vehicle. I created this Yelp account for the sole reason of making sure this business gets the credit they deserve from a satisfied customer. Courteous, professional and trustworthy. I'd heard good things about this place even before I moved into the neighborhood. They're always up-front and straightforward about what needs to be done and then, they can do it for you well and at a reasonable price; can't ask for more in a good service shop. A little anecdotal evidence to demonstrate their devotion to customer service: Today is Thanksgiving Eve and I plan on making a trip South to spend the holiday with family, about 500 miles round trip, but I had a bad tire (That they had informed me of last time I was in there) and knew that it wouldn't be safe to attempt the trip on it. However, new tires hadn't been in budget to date and by sheer luck, a pair my size popped up on Craigslist 2 days ago and I was finally able to get them today at 4:30 in the evening, and now had to find a place to rim, balance, and install them before everything closes until after Thanksgiving. Without hesitation, I headed straight for Arch Reed's Exxon. I walked in the door, was immediately greeted, and I asked if they could help. I didn't have to explain the situation or anything, the fella up front walked over to the garage to see if he had anyone available. Ryan, the manager (owner?) came back with him, recognized me (or the car...!), asked if the tires were in the trunk and where the keys were, and told me to have a seat, all in a tone like we'd just sat and watched the game together over the weekend: really friendly guy. 20 minutes later, I was signing for the work and headed home, confident to make tomorrow's trip on my new tires and remarking to myself what a great job these guys do, even an hour before closing on Thanksgiving Eve. Overhearing how Ryan and the rest of the guys talk to the other customers when I'm in the shop, I sense that a lot of them share my sentiment. Long story short: 11/10, highly recommend. These guys are the 1st honest group of mechanics that I've dealt with in Morgantown. The employees were all nice and the owner, younger guy with glasses, was a class act. I bent my wheel hitting a pothole and took it to another place, because it was closer to where I live, and they told me there was no way that it could be fixed and insisted that I buy 4 new aftermarket rims and all new tires. It took an hour for them to look at my truck and tell me the reason why my driver side vents weren't blowing hot air. They quoted me at $50 for the part and $800 for service because the dash had to be taken out. I went down the road 3 miles to Denzil's and they quoted me $42 for the part and $400 for the service.
