Avoid this place at all costs. Went in for an alignment and they refused to perform the alignment and quoted me $3500 worth of repairs that they insisted must be done before being able to align the truck. They also ripped the boot on my upper ball joint. Upon second opinion at a reliable shop, it was found that none of those 'repairs' needed to be done. Goodyear employees were also very unprofessional. Employees were screaming and cursing while customers were in the waiting room. Do not go here for any reason at all, as they will try to rip you off. read more

Wow. The manager josh is so helpful and deserves a compliment. I brought my car in after calling 5 places and everyone said they couldn't take it that day. Josh assured me he would get right to it considering the circumstances i was in. Within a few hours i got a call it was done with a reasonable price. The same thing happened the second time i took it in. I took my car to honda and it has been 2 weeks with terrible customer service and 6 times the amount of what josh charged me. management is wholly useless and provides no thorough review of the subpar work performed here. they consistently over torque drain plugs so that you cannot get them off without an impact tool and crush the washer. oil filters are not properly attached and leak oil. they don't care that they do such a bad job and will make no effort to correct it. read more

Scheaduld a oil change online. For a Synthetic oil and it said 39.99. Got there and the guy told me that is for reg oil. I said it said synthetic oil. They did not honer this. Will never go there again and we'll tell everyone else to avoid this rip of mechanic. read more

The staff is always friendly and accommodating and we're kind enough recently to waive the labor fee when I had unexpectedly purchase a new rim because my front tire went off the ride the night before. read more

Dropped my car off in the morning to have new tires mounted and balanced. a few hours later we drove past and it was in the bay. About a half hour later it was on the life. i called ab hour before they closed for them to say they were too busy and unable to get to it that day. went to pick it up and noticed the tires weren't there. went to the bay to get them just to wait for the guy to have to dig them out from under other tires that were on top and around them. read more

Sat down for 2 tires to get mounted and balance. Poor Oob tech couldn't break my lug nuts loose with his Kolbolt 1/2 impact. (4:00) appointment. Mr. service advisor listened to a child and told me I had 3 stripped studs. Waited 35 mins to have 2 lug nuts taken off. went home broke all 10 lug nuts by HAND. threads look and sound great. Well hopefully they would help me put tires on the next day ? Nope no help. no suggestion on where to get studs replaced. I needed a state inspection on my truck. Despite the fact that it's a older vehicle with very high mileage, I've taken excellent care of it and knew everything was in safe working order. However, I was still worried about being ripped off or told I needed a huge amount of (unnecessary) repair work due to the high mileage on the truck. Having been majorly ripped off by Meineke the year before (see my review here on Yelp), I was reluctant to use another big chain outfit, but they were the only ones I could find that could do the job the day I called. What a nice experience! They got to work on my truck right away, were very friendly and professional and didn't try to talk me into any repairs. My truck passed inspection with no problem. They did print out an estimate for some suggested preventative maintenance, but weren't pushy about it at all. Just basically said "hey here are some things we'd recommend if you want to get maximum life out of your truck". It was all fluid replacement/flushing stuff and yes the quote was on the high side, but again they weren't pushy about it at all. I didn't mind at all being informed about what they suggested the truck might need sometime in the future. Would highly recommend these folks! read more

Got a state inspection and replaced 4 tires. They fixed a damaged headlight free because I had bulbs w/ me. Good customer service, but... One of the managers started going off on some of the employees, first in the waiting room and then in the shop. He was so loud while in the shop that he could be heard clearly in the waiting room. Very profane rant, very unprofessional. Is it a deal breaker? No, I'll probably be back. Just a little disturbing. read more

WARNING: Don't come here for an "alignment"! They not only may be unable to get it right, they might well make it worse. I came to them after buying a new set of nice tires, and they did two things that weren't a problem just before the visit: cocked the steering slightly left, and generally misaligned the car further that also caused a wobble at higher speeds (can indeed be caused by misalignment, as a course in mechanical vibrations will show--not necessarily a balancing question). I noticed the problems the moment within minutes of leaving their lot, just past closing time, and gave them a shot to "fix it" the next morning. I don't know what they originally "did," but on calling them for a third visit, a week into seeing that the problem wouldn't smooth out, they preferred to schedule me out at regular priority. I opted for an alternative location in Pennsylvania for an earlier day, an hour away, and they ended up doing the job well, and characterized the job by this Morgantown location by saying "the alignment is way out," providing standard before-after printouts of metrics by wheel (was most all in the red before--as this Morgantown shop had last left/"checked" it). Despite having made three visits to get this basic job done, including an extra two hours drive, they offer no regret, no refund for failure to do and check the job, but they will notice that there is nothing incomplete in the nearly $100 they are keeping. I had more car work to get done this summer, but it can't be here. read more

This place is a terrible joke. The worst customer service I have ever experienced the first time I took my car here they lost the centerpiece to my hubcap... Not as big of a deal as them losing my car for 3 days wasting my time my insurance company's time and the local police departments time because they swore they had no idea where my car was that some anonymous tow company came and picked my car up... On the 3rd day I drive by the shop and my car is sitting outside the guy behind the desk offers no apologies just says it was an accident the wrong car was towed by mistake.., when my husband and I confronted then they told me the guy from the tow company came and and got the keys by the time my insurance company contacted them they had a better version of the story they said the tow company left the keys in the car... Trust me take your service elsewhere they are careless and will not take responsibility for your vehicle if you leave it in their possession! Jeffrey and Mike were very accommodating to get me back on the road to my hometown Michigan. You definitely want to schedule an appointment either by calling their location or online but follow up in regards to their current turn time. All in all I highly recommend this location. Update....Well, I had to drop the star rating down. My beau bought 4 new tires for his Ram 1500 and had to return two or three more times due to the front and rear alignment was off. The problem never got fixed until he took it to the Motor City and the Goodyear here in Michigan ran the specs which were in the red. They had to realign it again. Good thing we spent the extra $175.00 for the 3yr alignment warranty. read more

I came here to get a tire replaced that I had a warranty for and the whole ordeal was a complete mess. I replaced one tire under warranty and paid for another. I dropped off my car and a few hours later when they said the car was ready, I came back to pick up my car. I paid and went to my car to go home and I noticed there was only one new tire! I went back in to tell them and they quickly put the other new tire on. A couple months later I realized that my tires were unbalanced, I'm assuming based on rushing to put on the tire they forgot to replace. read more

If I could give them 1 star, I would. Watch what you pay for at Goodyear on Greenbag Rd. They wanted almost $450 to put new brakes and rotors on my Accent. I refused to pay that much when I knew the parts were only about $100 and it only takes an hour and a half or so to do it. I took it elsewhere today and was informed that my brakes are in almost new condition. Needless to say, I am furious. I've contacted corporate and am curious about what they have to say. Went in with squealing brakes. They replaced the rear brakes and charged me $400. Turns out it was the front brakes that were squealing and they didn't even check them. Now they want another $400. I'll go somewhere else. read more

My wife and I were stuck in Morgantown WV as a result of car trouble. We had to hobble into the Goodyear service center with desperate hope that they would be able to make the necessary repair so that we could make it home. They ordered the part needed and got us in and out of there much faster than anticipated and at a price that I thought would be much higher. My hat's off to Bill and the staff at this Goodyear shop! They made my wife and I as well as our cats (yes, they took a road trip with us) feel at ease. If I lived in Morgantown West Virginia, I would be a regular customer there! read more

I was in Morgantown to deliver a dresser to my son, having driven up on Friday night. Saturday morning while leaving my hotel I noticed excessive wear on the sidewall of my right front tire. Upon closer inspection I saw the sidewall had a gouge in it, no doubt caused a minor incident earlier that week. Apparently the incident had caused the wheel to toe in, because the tread on the tire was almost worn all the way off from the drive Friday night from Northern VA to Morgantown. I quickly realized that I couldn't drive it home in this condition, and googled a tire center, which is how I found the Morgantown Goodyear. Jason at the front desk greeted me as I walked in, and after I explained the issue and told him I was on a tight schedule did a quick inspection. He let me know that all 4 tires needed to be replaced (the wear indicators were showing). Needless to say this was not good news. My mood improved when Jason checked his inventory and found that he had 4 tires in stock that would not only fit my Explorer, but could be had at a fraction of the cost I thought I was going to pay. The Goodyear team had my 4 new tires mounted and balanced and the front end alignment completed in less than 90 minutes, and I was on my way in time to make it back to NoVA on schedule. read more

This service center is very famous for its honest. The staff and mechanics are both very nice, and they will not tell you some else services than what is necessary. They have general services like the oil change. I did all wheel alignment 2 years ago, and after one year, I went back and ask for its free alignment test (I only bought on year alignment, not 3 years one) and they tell me no need to do it again for this time. Not like other service people, they like you do as much as you could. Goodyear is also the top three service centers nationwide who do the best wheel alignment with its accurate technology. The oil change is also very good which I did yesterday. But for the price, as you can tell because of their excellent service, they are not cheap, just a little bit lower than the dealership. read more

I made an appointment for 8:30 in the morning for an oil change, two day in advance, showed up early, waiting over 2.5 hours still and no end in sight. Only after I realized that my vehicle had been sitting outside for over an hour did I question what was going on, and was told 'we are taking it back now.' The customer who showed up 45 minutes after me got in and out in under an hour. That makes perfect sense. Over two hours for a SCHEDULED oil change and I am still waiting. Slow service I made an appointment to have my tires replaced showed up 15 minutes early and waited an hour and my truck is still in same spot untouched asked what's the holdup was told didn't have a lift free so I walked around and seen 8 guys sitting around with 3 racks available then I stood there and Watch them took seven people to change for tires and they didn't work we will probably use an impact on us to have a torque wrench to tighten my wheels worst experience I've had in a long time read more

Clanging noise coming from my tires. Get it checked and they say it's a "basketball" rolling around in the trunk. Problem still not fixed, and wasted $50 on nonsense. Not sure who are the mechanics there, but obviously they don't know jack about vehicles. Boyfriend tried to get winter tires, called weeks ahead of time. Tires were supposed to be ordered, and just getting the run around. One guy says they are ordered and at the shop, another guy says they are not there yet. Then went to get a simple oil change, and guys working in back just kept hanging out in the lobby. Three hours of waiting there my car was finally finished. Will not be going back. Terrible!! My son is an out of state student at WVU. His car (I actually own car) broke down & was towed to this business. The service personnel told us the timing chain was broke & the engine was destroyed. They offered to buy the car from me for 200.00. I called another repair shop (Doug's Towing & Wrecking) & had them tow car to their shop. The only thing wrong was the battery was completely dead. They installed a new battery & the car runs fine. This Goodyear Auto Center charged me 46.50 for their bogus & false "Diagnostic Evaluation". Plus I had to pay Doug's 60.00 to tow the car to their shop. I filed & currently have a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against this business. I also contacted my auto insurance carrier & recommended they no longer have any of their customer's vehicles towed there. I still can't believe what this business tried pulling. This not a reputable busniess!! read more
