She properly separated my food into, frozen - refrigerated, dairy, dry goods, liquids, produce, everything, Perfectly packed for stability and strength. I want her to teach every person that bags groceries how to properly bag! Firt time ever I got everything on my list and Perfect, expert service , I want Angie to shop for me again! PS , I'm so appreciative of that because I was in Grocery before I retired, and that's how I packed groceries when I did .

We happened to visit on Friday, which was their Asian-themed day, with orange chicken, garlic chicken, rice, lo mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, and several other options. Both the hot food and salad bar are sold by the pound, and there's a fountain drink machine along with a comfortable seating area where you can eat. My kids especially loved that they could get an ice cream cone for just 25 cents. We didn't really explore the grocery store itself, so this review is mostly about the prepared food area. The restroom was clean, and the lunch setup made for an easy, inexpensive stop. The only uncomfortable part of the visit had nothing to do with Super 1. Another customer was open carrying with a holster attached to very loose basketball shorts, and the firearm appeared poorly secured as he walked. That was unsettling, but it wasn't something I'd hold against the store.

NOTE: This was originally intended for the Oldtown location but it applies to several stores in any…read morecase. This is absolutely my go-to grocery store! If you are looking for daily good prices on your typical staples in general, they will deliver. I consider them the middle class of stores. Not super fancy and pricy as Fred Meyer and not cheap and questionable as Wal-Mart. (Ya, I said it.) Their sales are phenominal, strangely enough in fact, I get excited each week for their ad to see what's on sale next! You don't even have to wait for or find a printed ad, if you sign up for emails each week you get a link to view ads online either in text only format or viewing the actual sales pages. As a bonus, there is a super coupon for weekends just for subscribers. They are locally owned/managed so I LOVE that. In fact, they support many of our local producers as well, for example, Meyer and Woods meats, Laclede berries, raw cow milk (can't remember the farm name), and I'm sure several others. The employees always seem to be much more available/helpful. There are several locations for convenience, each a tad different but not so much you don't feel unfamiliar. In my opinion, A good store is one where you feel comfortable purchasing both meat and fruit and like the quality of both! They have loads of services people often overlook too such as: 5 gallon water filling, kombucha filling, growler filling, a fresh bread baking machine (Sandpoint), movie rentals, PO services, coin counter machines, lottery ticket machines, fuel (Oldtown), floral department, deli, dry ice sales, bait (?), and many other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. Although, I do not see a place where they list these on their website for each location so best to call ahead. Oddly enough, at this time anyhow, I really can't think of anything that stands out to be improved other than a more informative website...and that says something! EDIT: OK, OK, I did find a couple of small things. I wouldn't mention it if it were just a one time thing but these two things happened yesterday. This is for the OLDTOWN location. When you are purchasing fruit or produce, be sure to double check your receipt. Preferably, try to catch it as they ring up...but when you are by yourself unloading onto the belt and they are pretty much finished ringing up by the time you are done unloading, it's nearly impossible. Often I find that, especially when something organic is listed on sale, the register rings up full price. I almost overpaid $2 on strawberries. A small pittance for some, yes, but possibly that rare treat of a candy bar for others. The other is to watch your baggers. Don't be afraid to make a request as that may get them to think about it differently if they were not properly trained. It is much easier to haul bags that have a few canned food or plastic bottles in the bottom, then boxed items, then crushables on top than all of one kind in one bag. They always end up ripping. Especially 2 liter bottles of soda even when double bagged. Just ask for paper or bring your own cloth reuseable bags. Likewise, meat should be bagged separately or at the least in a separate bag within another, especially not with other produce. I try to load my items on the belt how bagging would make sense, like putting as many cold items together as possible and bag in paper. I found out they also no longer have icecream bags so just ask for paper. This may seem petty to some but when you live in the back woods and have to deal with sloppy trips into the house during inclement weather and dogs trying to scope out your purchases...good bagging helps!

The store is really good and my family used to love it, but we will not be returning or…read morerecommending it anymore because of predatory behavior by the company they contract with for security. A member of my household went back in to get one deli item that we hadn't gotten. Because you walk past the doors to get back to the registers, she forgot she hadn't bought this item yet and began to walk out. The security person saw a confused and distressed young woman, barely over 18, making no attempt to conceal or otherwise indicate an intent to be doing anything dishonest.... And decided that the appropriate response was not to see if she was willing to pay or have a simple conversation. Instead he detained this young woman for a half an hour while calling in law enforcement. When the police officer said they didn't see any evidence of an actual crime, the security guy instead made her sign something before she could leave. She didn't understand it, but it said she owed the guy's Security Company (not paid to Super One themselves) the cost of the $12 single food item PLUS $250 in "restitutions"!! This is not someone who has any prior issues with this or another store. This is not someone who was combative or deceitful. I'm convinced he saw someone confused and vulnerable and decided he could flex his "authority" and bully them over a trivial issue to make some money for his company and pretend like he's doing something resembling his actual job. He also trespassed them for a year from the store, which is frankly pointless because none of us will be shopping here again with this hostile approach.

Listen, yelpers, before you jump down my @$$ for shopping at Walmart, let me set the scene for you…read more I was on a quickie vaca to see my friend, she picked me up in Spokane and we went to the Schweitzer Mountain resort in ID (off-off-OFF season apparently) in May. The closest target is in couer de laine idaho. Walmart it is - the village and everything in its vicinity was strictly shut down. We were the only people in the hotel - it was very hotel in the Shining. I digress.... So, Lanny and me set off to buy some booze and flip flops at Walmart. We perused the $5 CD bin and could barely tear ourselves away from such classic artists as Lionel Ritchie, Conway Twitty, and BoysIIMen. We found flip flops for $2. I did not think it was possible. So, we came away with some yogurt, fruit, booze and flip flops (we needed them for the outside jacuzzi in the hotel). Enter the cashier who did not think we had enough plastic bags.. She double bagged the booze and continued to put each item in separate bags. I suppose the global warming and recycling fad did not hit Idaho yet and if it did, it was not evident in this here Walmart. I had the best time with Lanny here.
