We were out of power because of their failure to do what they said they would. Freezers defrosted. Had to get a hotel... And the customer service "supervisor"' told me to call back at 7 if the power wasn't turned on yet. Which is when they close. Total joke. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with

They submitted my application 4 times to a Electric and it was flagged this interefered with my services being connected in a certain timeframe. I had to complete an application with another Electric Provider due to after 72 hours the issue still wasn't resolved on Compare Power end or Atlantex Energy end. Also, do not choose Atlantex or sister company Atlantic, the customer service is unprofessional, there's no first call resolution and they do not have the proper CSR experience. It was a hassle and very mentally draining. I would never known my services wasn't yet switched after being approved until I called the electric company, this was after sending in identification and lease for address verification, some I never went through with any utility company.

So now I'm telling everyone, including Yelpers, about Electricity Helper. Call him and save some dough.

We left poor service and moved to more of the same. For years, the company left a loaner tank due…read moreto their inability to place an in-ground tank and every year at the charge of a tank rental, they waived the fee with an "We'll call you back - and never did". Later they began an awesome web portal where you can schedule your re-fill, and make damn sure you aren't below a certain amount, only to have drivers who just show up on a completely different schedule and begin calling - suffice to say, they not only couldn't accommodate a week later on a day that the customer wanted, they went another 2 weeks and basically came back with - That's not our Thursday route - Then why have a web-customer schedule at all. Next: Moving away from the company, I called to have the tank, I wasn't renting, removed from my yard - on a day that I am home (Behind a gate with animals that need gathered up) only to be told they couldn't give me a time they would be there. - Funny, if they called 10 minutes out and I couldn't be there, that would likely be Okay with them. To make matters worse for the entire ordeal, they were going to charge me $35 dollars to come get a tank I wasn't renting. - A loaner tank. Which still has fuel in it, and they owe me for. I decided before getting off the call to forego even getting their tank removed from the yard - Since I don't own it, they obviously don't care about the customer - even one that left and any dime, even one they don't deserve is just another punch in the gut for choosing them. They can come out on my schedule or, it'll be by the road. - IDGAF when or if they come get it. Call anyone but these folks.
