We left poor service and moved to more of the same. For years, the company left a loaner tank due to their inability to place an in-ground tank and every year at the charge of a tank rental, they waived the fee with an "We'll call you back - and never did". Later they began an awesome web portal where you can schedule your re-fill, and make damn sure you aren't below a certain amount, only to have drivers who just show up on a completely different schedule and begin calling - suffice to say, they not only couldn't accommodate a week later on a day that the customer wanted, they went another 2 weeks and basically came back with - That's not our Thursday route - Then why have a web-customer schedule at all. Next: Moving away from the company, I called to have the tank, I wasn't renting, removed from my yard - on a day that I am home (Behind a gate with animals that need gathered up) only to be told they couldn't give me a time they would be there. - Funny, if they called 10 minutes out and I couldn't be there, that would likely be Okay with them. To make matters worse for the entire ordeal, they were going to charge me $35 dollars to come get a tank I wasn't renting. - A loaner tank. Which still has fuel in it, and they owe me for. I decided before getting off the call to forego even getting their tank removed from the yard - Since I don't own it, they obviously don't care about the customer - even one that left and any dime, even one they don't deserve is just another punch in the gut for choosing them. WOW. Not only did they show up to fill the tank without notifying me ahead of time (good thing I was there!), they overcharged with an invoice stating my meter was at zero when it was at 40%. Then they sent an invoice with the outrageous amount and via a "donotreply" eddress to prevent a complaint. Furthermore, when I tried to use the online account, the system wouldn't allow me to create an account or retrieve a password from what I thought was an account they'd set up on my behalf; hence, no way to contact them about the bill. I contacted Rebecca at Douglass Distributing to buy a propane tank and to get the first fill. Sean Caney came out to assess the site and gave me a very, very reasonable quote and a very quick expected installation turnaround time. The tank was delivered and installed by Joel, filled by Tim and was put into full service by Joel once our appliances were all connected. Rebecca, Joel, Tim and Sean were all knowledgeable, friendly, timely, helpful and efficient. Everything went off without a hitch and the installation was perfect. I will be using them to fill and service the tank from now on. read more

A few days before the Feb 2021 storm, I requested a refill and was told I was on "the list." A couple days into the storm, still no call from them to schedule and I called (several tries, finally reached person) and was told they'd call back; no response. Couple days later when propane getting really low, called again; same non-response. Yesterday, I called and was given a lecture by "Jennifer" who said, "I put my life on hold for you people and our drivers could die!" I said all I wanted was to know when they could deliver and what to do if I do run out; she continued the lecture and hung up on me. 15 minutes later, "Mr. Douglass" called me to tell me they were picking up my tank and: "We are firing you!" Since I have a pre-paid ease on the tank until Aug 2021 and OWN the propane currently in the tank, that would be theft. These people (a) don't honor contracts, (b) don't care about customers, (c) think nothing of bullying customers during an emergency order. CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE AT YOUR OWN RISK (LITERALLY, TO LIFE AND PROPERTY). There are GOOD companies out there, but in my experience, this is NOT one of them. read more
