First of all the price is not good for the food here!!! Food pretty bland and btw the macaroni has a really weird taste makes me nauseas. Somedays it's good somedays it's not. The chicken soup has a weird taste to it's not fresh its like they recooked it and added more flavor!!! But overall looks pretty clean nice staff! Not that good food you expect!!!

I ate here and it's bad,the tables are super stick like gorilla glue

They are open and doing cafeteria style dining. Remember Monday is Senior Citizens Day until 5pm. Always hot fresh and delicious food.

Crazily enough, I had driven by s few if their locations and always said that I would stop by by never had so I was kind of psyched that today was finally the day. This particular location appears to be extremely popular as we pulled up a bit after eleven o'clock in the morning and a crowd was building up already. We were seated and given our menus and our drink orders were taken. Everyone else at the table ordered either the filet mignon or the salmon, so I figured those were the two good choices, so I went with the filet mignon with a loaded baked potato and I had ranch dressing on my salad. We also got the sausage appetizer and the boom boom shrimp appetizer for the table to share. Both appetizers came and both were good. My salad came next and it was also good and they put on enough salad dressing (few places put what I deem an appropriate amount of salad dressing). My filet mignon and loaded bake potato were good, especially for the price point. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Our waitress was a little passive aggressive, the way she greeted the table and took our order seemed like she was overwhelmed or idk can't even describe it, but she made us feel a little uncomfortable; specially when it was time to pay. We asked her if we could pay with our phone (Apple Pay/tap) and she said yes to follow her, so we followed her to the register and she asked us for the card number and we told her "it doesn't give us the card number", but before we finished explaining her she cut us right away and said "yes it doesn't give u the card number" and proceeded to touch our phone and tried to access to our card details on our digital wallet, you could've at least ask if it was ok to touch our phone, anyways When she finally realized our digital wallet doesn't give us the card number/details she said we weren't able to do Apple Pay. We had cash so we were able to pay with it but why saying "yes we take Apple Pay" when yall don't ? She should've at least asked "does it give you your card details" , or asked for another payment method. Keep in mind that during this whole process she seems a little upset and kept being passive aggressive, lady is not our fault that you said we could pay with our phone when you clearly knew we couldn't ?!

Still got it with ice! Asked about which is better, the corn muffin or roll, and the response was, "Well corn muffin when it's not burnt. I mean honestly, why would you criticize the food you are serving by saying something to scare the customer away from a selection like that? The ambiance was very simple, not much for decor, it is a small town cafe that used to be called Grumpy's, they have 9 tables, and a wait staff that serves carry out, dine in and drive thru customers, and shared tips. Honestly one of the worst experiences for food taste, and the whole experience. We were told to take a seat, weren't given menus until a few minutes after we sat down and the table was littered with trash and debris, which was cleaned off as we were at the table. They had a big line of cars around the building for the drive thru, and all the other tables inside were full. The food presentation was that of grilling in the back yard. But, you need to work on seasoning the beef, the fries, and the meatloaf. I don't know how this place was so busy! Maybe people don't know how to use spices to flavor foods these days. I mean, a small investment in spices and people that know how to use them would make the world of difference. Reminds me of JJ's. Not good at all! If I could give no stars I would.

We pulled into Papa Dubi's around 1:45, not realizing the kitchen closes at 2:00. We apologized and said we'd come back another time because we didn't want to be "those people", but the staff insisted it was no problem at all. That alone made a great first impression. We ordered quickly and went with the Cajun Sampler--Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya, and Crawfish Sauce over Rice. We also added hushpuppies and boudin. Every single thing was spot‑on delicious. Each sampler dish had the perfect balance of rice to main ingredients, and the flavors were rich, authentic, and comforting. The boudin was the real deal, and the hushpuppies were just as good. Brandon was our server, and he couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating, especially considering how close it was to closing time. For being this far from Louisiana, Papa Dubi's is absolutely doing it right. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was super friendly, shout out to our server Brandon. Friendly and willing to engage in my favorite activity (small talk!) lol. To the food. I have an extensive list of food allergies and intolerances. So I will always review a place where I can find a good meal and not get sick or worse. I had the burger po'boy and it was great! Perfect ratio of burger to bread. The fries were pretty standard Sysco fair but I like their seasoned fries so all good. Hubs had the catfish lunch meal and he enjoyed it. Ordered the boy the crab cake meal and he loved it. Also got the 4 sides option as part of our to-go order - gumbo, red beans & rice, jambalaya, and etouffee. I hate soupy rice & beans, so I was happy to see that these were done right. They also tasted great. I wasn't able to try the other items (pesky seafood allergy) but they also looked good and smelled delicious. Definitely see us making a day trip in the future to eat here again.
