I had a strange and creepy experience there on 'Ladies Night,' which I did not know about when I walked in to possibly buy some boots for someone else. They told me at the checkout counter to come back later to check out and get a discount. I did, bringing in my friend for whom the boots were meant, and we tried on boots and browsed things and other men were there in the store who clearly did not work there, but a worker in the store told my friend to leave because no men were allowed in the store that night, after we had been there for probably an hour and had gone to browse in the electronics section. I mistakenly assumed that he was just kidding because this was after he asked if we needed help. But he was not kidding, and my friend left the store with this employee tailing him all the way to the door. I felt like I had just been punched in the gut and will never set foot in that store again. I contacted the manager or one of the managers later who in a nutshell said that no men should have been allowed in there in the first place that night, and that no men are supposed to be in the store on 'Ladies Night.'
But only one person was ejected from the store for being male, and I obviously would not have come back in with him as my 'guest,' if I had been told about the no-men rule when they told me to come back after 6 to get a discount when I was there at 5.
I have spent alot of money in that store and seldom leave without finding something I want to buy before I go, so I do not write this review lightly but feel I should speak up about what happened to me there, at least. read more
