Timothy and Scott arrived on time as scheduled and fully explained the incorrect method the garbage disposal was installed which is no surprise. Been in this house 9 months and the previous owner did everything DIY. The drain from the sink to the basement was not correct after due to an oversize sink being installed and properly aligned(previous owner). Tim and Scott installed a new drain, repositioned the garbage disposal and new pvc, tubing, etc. They were very professional, personable and explained everything in layman's terms. Very fair pricing. I had it installed in my KC condo, but the heating and cooling company that did the installation was not an authorized Nest firm. As a result, the warranty is only for one year. So when I decided to install the Nest in my Lawrence, KS home, I insisted on a firm that is authorized by Nest. EnvironTrends is. The installation in my house was more complicated than I had anticipated, since the old wiring to my ancient thermostat was inadequate for the Nest. Marty replaced the wiring, and did everything that needed to be done with expertise. I now am very happy with my Nest thermostats in both locations, especially the ability to connect with my iPhone and iPad to both, and thereby remotely to get the settings back to comfortable settings prior to my return home after travel.

The central heating and air conditioning units that were in the house when we moved in before out 22 yr. old daughter was born were headed for replacement. Cheaper to do both at once and today was the day. Cha-ching. That kind of equipment and installation is pricey. You know that, I know that. Guys arrive at 7:30 a.m., are out of the house by 4:30 p.m. (my wife even made lunch for them) and everything installed including a walk-through to show us the new gear, and... wow, immediately, the heater is running less, running quieter, better moisture in the air. We're more comfortable, win-win. We are really happy. Installation looks like a million bucks and we are set for a long time now. Amazing how this company continues to really impress us. We have been a Patriot HVAC customer since we purchased an entire Rheem HVAC system for our home on…read more29 April 2014. We have had super equipment reliability across twelve (12) years. On 12 January 2026, we noticed the house was cold when we woke up. After looking at our thermostat, I tried to change the batteries to see if it fixed the problem which it did not. We called Patriot at 10:06 am, explained our problem, and got on their list to send out a technician. Mike arrived at 11:00 am to check out system to determine the problem. I explained what we experienced with our heating system that morning and then he began his trouble shooting. After checking the furnace fault codes and operation, Mike came upstairs to look at the thermostat. He stated he needed to hardwire the thermostat to the system which he did in a few minutes. When the furnace turned on, Mike went downstairs to monitor fault codes on the furnace. He stated the codes cleared and that is all we needed for the fix. Our heating system has been working just fine since this repair. We always receive prompt service response from Patriot as well as service we trust when Mike has performed work in our home. We highly recommend Patriot HVAC.
