Called Westco Tree Service to remove a large pine tree that kept getting sap on my truck. I called and spoke with Jessica who was really professional and understanding of my situation. She set up a date and time for Rey to come out and originally Rey was suppose to swing by on a Sunday between 2:30pm and 3pm, but never showed. Yet this happened on Easter Sunday, so I figured not a big deal, so I sent a text over and again Jessica was very responsive and had Rey swing by the following day. When Rey came he gave me a fair quote to have the tree removed and have the stump grinded down. So I set up a date and time with Jessica to have them come out to get the job done. On Friday, April, 22nd, 2022 Jessica had send a courtesy text to cancel and re-schedule for Sunday due to the lovely bi-polar weather we get out here with the high winds. So Sunday morning between 0730 hours and 0800 Rey and another gentleman arrived and notified my wife that they would begin and all I can say is wow they were quick and did a fast clean up job. Arriving on time and being professional is definitely Wesco Tree Service! Before going further I have to definitely say thank you to Jessica and Rey for being professional and definitely giving a fair price as I had a few, not allot of price gougers and some acted as if this one pine tree was to be taken down correctly and engineered right lol. Stay away, will not honor quote given, not trustworthy!!! They would not honor the quote that was given previously recently of $740. Instead they said, that the guy working for them is no longer there, and they would not honor the previous quote, and now would charge $1600, for removing tree palm trees and removing one stump. Reply, based off companies reply. Bad business practices!!! The company replied with they are sorry for the misfortune, and that they did not receive confirmation from two months ago to move forward with the job ( there was no Misfortune except that they did not honor their word/quote, that I have in writing as offered in Yelp) . They failed to acknowledge that I had supplied three pictures showing all three prom trees, and that is what their previous employee quoted us. That is the reason they would not honor the quote, as Jessica advised me on a phone call, the quote was too low.
