I stayed there last night on April 18 and I must say best place I have ever stayed. The young lady at the front desk so happy and cheerful. Helped me in so many ways and was just all around an amazing person. The room was beyond what I expected it was even better. Great hot water amazing tub and the bed itself was the best bed I have ever been. It's even better then mine at home. We had the perfect long weekend at the Westcliffe Inn. Conveniently located in town close to shopping dining. We enjoyed local breakfasts and coffee shops. The front desk gave us many recommendations which were all good. Especially liked the nearby Bishop's castle. Had no idea that was there. We stayed in their Guest House which had plenty of space for us. And the best feature was the view on the balcony of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. read more

Room was clean, had all the basic amenities: air conditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV, and wifi. The bathroom was very clean with a cute sink. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The shower spout was very difficult to turn on, but the water pressure was good and the water was instantly hot. We stayed September 23rd and 24th, 2025 at Westcliffe Inn and were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. So clean and a good layout. When we had a question and asked at the office they were so nice and completely answered our questions. We stayed there Nov 1 and were pleasantly surprised. It is above and beyond one of the cleanest motels we've ever stayed at. The staff is unbelievably friendly and over accommodating. The woman that checked us in was awesome as she came down with a moments notice to fix the heat in the room. The staff also told us where to go to see the Milky Way. We were going to Buena Vista for small vacations but we are now going to Westcliffe for mini-vacations. All the staff had smiles and could teach and train other motel staffs throughout the state on how to treat guests. Congratulation! We will be back again!! Extremely clean hotel with great staff. My husband and I stayed here for three nights over Labor Day weekend and were really impressed. This hotel does not have a lot of frills but was comfortable and the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. We stayed two nights. We were here for a death in the family. It was nice and clean. When we checked in, the lady at the desk was a bit gruff, like we were disturbing her. And when we went to check out, there was a $32.38 "cleaning fee" added to our room. Can't figure out why. We left the room perfectly clean other than wet towels. But it was a good way to get to for some peace after all the family grief. Great view of the mountains. read more

We spent one night at the Westcliffe Inn with our 16-year old granddaughter. We were in the area to experience the dark skies and needed a place for one night. The Inn is very modest but our room was fine - clean, easy access (you park right at your door). There is almost no place to stay in Westcliffe but you aren't there for luxury accommodations. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants are few and far between in Westcliffe but she did her best to give us suggestions. We were lucky enough to see the dark skies and will be back and we will stay at the Westcliffe Inn. read more

We arrived at night after driving the winding roads through a heavy rainstorm. Once it cleared, we took refuge at the next town and happened to pick this Inn. The owner was very personable and helpful and give us a room and told us the view would be stunning in the morning. It was! The sunrise reflecting off the new snow was fantastic. I think it was the first of the season. We left my briefcase behind, and I didn't miss it until I received a call from her in the late morning. She went above and beyond to find go in town and get a shipping box and ship the briefcase to my brother's house. Oh.. and ask about the hiking trails. They have some maps and advice to share with you. read more

If your travels take you to Westcliffe, CO, you're in for a great stay at the Westcliffe Inn. Cassie at the front desk greeted us with a friendless smile. She checked us in quickly and gave us lots of information about the town, restaurants and information about the surrounding area. we stayed 5 nights because we were enjoying our stay at this quaint inn and town so much. Our rooms were adjoining with a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms were super clean, modern and the bedding was super comfortable. Our A/C kept the room very comfortable. we appreciated the coffee in our room and the unobtrusive housekeeping provided every day that kept us supplied with new towels and trash removal every day. Every one we encountered was helpful and accommodating. The inn had a game room and a hot tub if we had wanted to enjoy it. Royal Gorge and Cañon City was a beautiful drive away. We liked making The Westcliffe Inn as a base of our tour of the area. read more

This is the most up to date hotel in Westcliff. The rooms are large and include a refrigerator. Conveniently next to a Subway sandwich shop, which stays open later than most of the other restaurants. The place was very clean and the owners were very nice. read more

Staying at the Westcliffe Inn was the best and only good part about our visit to Westcliffe. The lady at the desk was super friendly and informative about where to eat. The rooms were very clean. Not too many places to stay in Westcliffe. We even called on place 3 days in a roll, but never got a call back. But with Westcliffe Inn, she answered the phone immediately and helped us get a room for us and our pet weiner dog. We highly recommend staying at Westcliffe Inn. Just be cautious about the eating establishments. They do not cater to tourist because of their weird hours and very limited menus. We ended up eating at the bowling alley. Don't expect real breakfast. No one serves eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, etc. Just burritos and bagels. And everyone closes at 5pm, if they are open at all during the week. Awesome scenery though, and nice evening mountain showers. read more

I don't normally review hotels/motels. But, I've stayed at this place a couple of times and I like this place. Westcliffe is kind of in the middle of nowhere (I normally stay in Salida), but there's at least one gas station and a few restaurants around the Inn, too. The Inn itself? The Inn is great! Everything is first floor with drive-up parking to your room. So, easy load/unload. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are well equipped. Clean, too! :) Oh! And let's not forget the scenery! Your lodging options in Westcliffe are pretty limited, so this place is a lovely stop. We were looking for something comfortable and clean, and it fit the bill beautifully. Kind and caring staff; clean and comfortable rooms. Not a lot of frills except for the OMG jacuzzi tub and the in room refrigerator. Since you'll want to snag some good trail foods, it's important to have a good fridge. Bed was comfortable, the area was quiet, and there was an early morning bonus: a herd of deer just outside the window in the morning. Plus you'll get a beautiful mountain view when you wake. This is a family owned motel. Friendly service and clean nice rooms. This place is better than your typical Holiday Inn at an even better price. Large fridge, large TV, and a firm bed. We were very pleased. They also have a nice game room with a wonderful jacuzzi and sauna. read more

Reiterating a previous reviewer's comments, your lodging options in Westcliffe are very limited. The Westcliffe inn was a PERFECT stop for my night in between hikes in the mountains. The staff was very nice, conversational, and responsive to any questions I had. The room was clean, there were no odd smells, and I didn't have any noise issues coming from neighbors. My husband and I stayed a night in the Westcliffe Inn while in town on our anniversary. We stayed in one of their kingsized rooms with the jacuzzi tub. Everything was great. There's directv, and wifi. The room was SUPER clean, and the bed was amazing. The staff was amazing, and check in and check out went smooth. The view is amazing. They had all the information for for tv channels, wifi password, check out instructions, and even some local restaurants on lamented sheets by the t.v. My only small little let down was when we saw the jacuzzi tub wasn't as big as we were hoping. Definitely only room for one person in the tub. Not normally a problem, but a little disappointing for a couple celebrating their first anniversary. I would definitely still come back and rent a room from them again. Very nice place. read more

This is a basic, no frills motel. If you want a room with air conditioning, make sure you book one! Half of the rooms don't have A/C. The office is closed from 9 pm- 9 am. If you think you will arrive after 9 pm, make sure to call ahead and get the code for the key holder next to your room. If you need to iron your clothes you can ask for the small table top ironing board/Iron at the office. Despite the lack of amenities, I'm giving this 5 stars because it's clean! It's cleaner than many hotels, and certainly cleaner than many motels. You can walk on the carpet in white socks and they stay white! The pillows are not the best but the beds are comfortable and there are no bed bugs or other critters nesting anywhere. I would stay here again. read more

If you dig clean, the Westcliffe Inn will be your kind of place! It is VERY clean. In fact, I'm not sure I have ever experienced lodging as clean as the Westcliffe Inn. I'm posting a bunch of pics so that others can see what I mean. Seriously. Not a water spot on the coffee pot. Not a blip of mildew on the shower curtains. Absolutely no dust. And when a place appears to be this clean, it challenges someone like me to look even closer to find the areas that may not be clean. Nothing. Our room was uber clean. I'm not sure how they manage to maintain this level of cleanliness but apparently they do based on the fact that my comments have already been similarly voiced by others in their reviews. I think this is where most of your night's lodging dollars are going - to keeping the place spotless. So if clean is what you value, definitely choose the Westcliffe! The rooms were semi-comfortable. Three pillows (I wish they had four). Relatively comfortable bed. One negative would be the fact that the room I was in had no air circulation whatsoever. I suspect that is why there was a fan sitting on the dresser. It went to good use. You can certainly open the windows to combat this problem but I don't think I would elect to do that given the rooms are on the ground level. There really are no amenities associated with your stay at the Westcliffe other than a wonderful hot tub that is available for guests' use. It's a very nice perk! Also, I really appreciate how understanding and accommodating the staff was with me when I had to change my reservation on three separate occasions. The rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker (one packet of coffee is left per morning), and you can get a hair blow dryer upon request at the front desk. The room includes a listing of the best restaurants in town and that list is laminated and CLEAN. So clean it looks like they laminated it that very day! I'm not sure what else to say about this Inn. In sum, it's pricey, convenient, and extremely clean. read more
