Nice and quiet RV park. the owner are friendly and helpful. There river down from the park.

Easy access off HWY 50 in Howard Colorado. Direct river access for launching rafts or fishing. The sites are very well maintained and the owners are absolutely the friendliest people you will find. There is limited shade, but besides that it's a great spot to access the river.

The people running this establishment are smiling, hard working and easy going. Also, they are super cool about having dogs. The sites are clean. I'm not sure if any of the sites have a view of the river. The road is pretty close.

Great RV park off of highway 50! Been a family go to spot for years! Very friendly and management is great! I have stayed in the cabins, motel and bunkhouses...can't go wrong with any of them. Very rustic feel and so cute! Totally recommend!!

Via e-mail, we were asked for info about our rig, and sent a link to complete a waiver. The e-mail stated a noon check-in time and had no further info about the check-in process. We provided the rig info and signed the waiver. The day before arriving in August, we were sent numerous text messages about a form, and the need to provide info about our rig. The text messages had check-in as Noon in one sentence, and check-in as 3:30 in another sentence. We called, got a nice person who spoke limited English. We were able to determine that they had received the form, but that they needed our rig information. Provided that again. She told us our site #'s, and said we would get a text with codes and check-in information. On the day of arrival, we got a text with the WIFI password and no further information. When we arrived, we could not find an office or staff. They Info on yelp states that there is a gift shop and boutique on site. That must have been when it was still owned by "Pamela". We finally saw a small sign with the instructions to just go to our site. About 1/2 hour after we arrived, a pleasant person stopped by with her infant to let us know she was the on-site manager, and to give us the code for the dumpster. She provided no further information or assistance. Sites 1-6 are COMPLETELY different than the website photos and the reviews, which were written a few years back when someone named Pamela owned and ran the property. These sites are VERY narrow. It took our friend multiple manipulations to pull in with his 5th wheel. These sites have no room for chairs or tables to sit outside. There was an old picnic table perched on the slope between sites 4 and 5. Significant literal trash at sites 1-4. A dead bird, dead vegetation, sewage pipes without caps, intense sewage smell. Very low water pressure. Unkempt weeds and sticker burr plants at our site, those next to us, and most of the places to walk the dogs. Buildings and grounds were trashy, run-down, dirty. We were traveling through for one night. We would strongly discourage others from staying here.

Everything is done remotely out of Texas, they open the doors by sending a code that they email you when you can actually check in. At first, I was able to use the Wi-Fi in order to work. There is no cell service whatsoever. Around 6:37 AM p.m. the Wi-Fi completely shut down. No communication whatsoever no TV. Nothing I was unable to work the entire night. At 3:15 AM the long-term neighbor, the lights to talk to a very young lady like it's one of his buddies at the bar slams the screen door to go out to his car and then does it again going back in. There is no place to hang your clothes, no chair, no desk nothing but a bed, a tiny refrigerator that appears to have something that has died in the freezer. Upon departure there was still no Wi-Fi. I attempted to call the people in Texas once I got to Salida Colorado and had to leave a message. I do have to say the room was clean. The little sink was plugged up, the water shower was hot, but the tub is extremely slippery. The back of the hotel is an RV park that have a number of seriously ran down RVs parked and then the Arkansas River which flows very nicely behind that. For the price that they charged over $100 it is not worth it I would highly recommend that you go down the road and find something else.

Couple of issues -road noise M-F from 7:00-4:00 as large trucks haul gravel from the quarry to town. The 2 lane road runs on the whole side of the resort. AND, we reached out to the advertised Colorado RV services to get some work done on our RV. They came by 2 times to meet with us but never gave us an estimate or touched base to schedule the work. We followed up numerous times. Our initial conversation was 7 weeks prior to our scheduled departure. This left a very bad taste in our mouths. Very bad customer service and follow up. We traveled in a 36 foot, class A.

And I enjoyed the friendly and courteous atmosphere created by the other guests in the park. And plenty of wildlife, the furry kind! Thanks Nicole and Josh!
