If you are looking for a great eye doctor, look no further than Dr. Wolfe!…read more Dr. Wolfe is incredibly kind, patient, and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to assuage my fears of glaucoma as it runs in my family. Dr. Wolfe was also extremely thorough during my eye exam! The clinic takes all of the necessary precautions for COVID-19 and my entire eye exam and subsequent tests felt safe and comfortable. 10/10 - Would recommend Ardsley Eye Care to anyone looking for a great optometrist in Westchester County!

I needed an eye exam for my driver's license renewal. I walked into Ardsley Eye Care and was met with smiling faces and a very kind staff. They were able to fit me in for an exam and I met Dr. Wolfe. Wow! The nicest man possible. He gave me a thorough exam and filled out the necessary DMV form - which was then sent electronically to them. (All that was left for me to do was renew/pay for my actual license from my computer at home. The eye exam portion was already being sent by Ardsley Eye Care for me.) The BEST part of the day was when I got home and told my wife about the pleasant and capable care I received with Dr. Wolfe and his staff. She DOES have all sorts of eye care needs...glasses, contact lenses, and regular visits to monitor for her cataracts and potential glaucoma. She has been looking for a new practice for her exams since the existing one has a couple of doctors who are ready to retire. She will be calling Dr. Wolfe's office shortly it make an appointment. Again, can't believe that we never heard of this practice opening so close to our home.

Excellent practice to go to for complex contact lens prescription…read more I had been to another professional and it just didn't work out, hence my visit to Dr Schwartz. She's funny and fun and professional and attentive. It actually took a long time to iron out the wrinkles regarding my prescription. However I'm so happy that Dr Schwartz was just as patient as I was regarding the process. The outcome is that I have the best vision with my new contacts and couldn't be happier. If you have complex eye prescription issues, Dr Schwartz is definitely the perfect person to tackle the issue. I won't be going anywhere else.

The new lens has been nothing short of transformative and exactly what I both needed and hoped for. I can see clearly now for the first time in a decade and I couldn't be happier! I found the facility after following a chain of recommendations from professionals who knew they couldn't help (for one reason or another) but wanted to recommend someone they thought might be able to (and trusted). Prior to this recommendation chain I had felt utterly powerless to change my vision situation and Dr Schwartz (and team) changed that completely.

The Prescription is the deliverable patients get to do the Eye Exam and that is what we paid for. We called back and they said that is how they do Eye Exam here. They have to charge us for the fitting, before writing a prescription, whereas it is unnecessary as we did Eye Exams every year and nobody is doing this! Both me and wife have got our content lens for years, and we told the Doctor our current contact lens size etc. Excessive billing is throughout the healthcare system and we are disappointed this provider charges for services not only unnecessary but also they did not perform it. We will write a review also in VSP to remind of people - look for another provider! Plus - we tried to look up the Doctor's name in American Academy of Ophthalmologists, and could not even find the name there! PS: - just saw the horrible responses from the Provider on Jan 23 below! I called them several times as nobody answered so I left VM, and they called back with VM but does not answer specially about the item charged. Now they are calling me as harassing. I just spoke to this owner this morning in the phone! As customer, I had no time or reason to harass anyone but I was trying to figure out why I paid $175 (with VSP insurance) for Eye Exam that should get me the Prescription but then they charge my $90 for getting me the prescription??? This is really excessive Of course reading their message I will call my insurance VSP about this provider. We did eye exam for 20 years and no other Eye Centers behave like this!

The doctor took her time, went through a lot of the different possibilities and made sure everything was right before I left. Dr. Philip asked if I had time to do the Glaucoma test as it added half an hour to the visit. She then gave me a special sunglass filter to put under my glasses. The visit was very pleasant. The doctor was on time and they had a good selection of glasses. And, the best part of the experience is that my insurance covered most of it.
