This puncture of my skin may have been illegal since I've checked this out and learned that only a licensed paramedic can perform more invasive advanced testing without orders from a superior/or supervision. I also checked to see if they have licensed paramedics on these ambulances. I read that the crew consists of 2 EMT's. There was a third female person there for an unknown reason but it seemed that this person was wearing street clothing and was not wearing a uniform. Also this idiot seemed to make his own decisions so they can get a gold star for gouging. These little fingerprick testers cost$ 11.99 in most pharmacies and they have the nerve to bill for $500! For what ? Is there a cover charge for entertainment? I cannot get the names of the three creeps to check on their credentials. I would love to report this and tell a judge what happened to me by unintentionally falling sleep while resting on a bench!I' also love to stick my foot where the sun don't shine on the 911 idiot who stated I "passed out". I'll figure out a way. Idiot told me there was "no charge" or I would not have let him touch me. I also found out their "services" can be refused. They will give you a hard time and torment you for hours since they're terrified of liability lawsuits. They're busy covering their asses without any regard for the poor "marks" they take advantage of. At 10:40am I called fearing the worst and yes the driver would be "11 minutes late". Called again at 11:04 am and the driver showed up at 11:05am. He was also there to pickup another person scheduled at 10:45 am heading to Tuckahoe. We got to his destination at 11:22am. We were heading to Columbia Presbyterian. Needless to say we had to reschedule the doctor appointment. As you can imagine I am very upset given the doctor's appointments was scheduled months in advance . Obviously poor planning on MedTrips end combining these two trips together. Of course I called to provide feedback and I got the usual sorry about that. Still upset.
