This is definitely one of those places where you can bring your kids and easily keep them entertained for hours. There are activities for so many different age groups, from toddlers to bigger kids. Our daughter loved exploring everything, making slime to the imaginative play areas where kids can pretend to use an ATM, be a dentist, perform on an actual stage, explore a pirate ship, play in the water area, and so much more. She rescheduled me for 2 weeks later. I got up at 6:30am to make sure I was available, for the new date and by 4:45pm no pick-up. I called and the agent was apologetic, as the previous agent DID NOT complete THAT rescheduling. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold for 7 minutes then came back and said she was transferring me to the supervisor, and I was sent to voice mail. I left a message that I needed to hear back or I would donate elsewhere because this was not right that I had 2 errors in scheduling. I never heard back. I am now donating to Big Brothers, Big Sisters. It is hard enough to have to be available from 7am to 5pm, but 2 failures in scheduling and no apology, or call back, is not acceptable.

What a wonderful nonprofit organization dedicated to our homeless, disadvantaged high school youth…read more High school is hard enough to get through but when you are lacking the basics like food, clothing, hygiene items and school supplies it can be really difficult and depressing. That is where this place can help. They are able to assist and support our youth with being able to thrive and stay in school to graduate. They accept donations and appreciate volunteers. They provide classes such as job research, job prep, setting life goals, life after high school, financial skills and other educational help. This can really change a young persons life if they offered the right tools to succeed. Clothing is offered for free at the little store called Betty's Boutique on-site with a high school student ID. I was happy to donate my daughter's old prom and homecoming dresses to this organization in order for a needy youth to enjoy their upcoming formal dance. They also accept monetary donations as well. Once we had signed her up for a summer camp, it opened up the doors to so many other opportunities there that we did not know existed! She has had the opportunity to participate in a master class with musicians that perform at the Smith center, perform on stage with Loren Allred at the MGM Garden Arena, and also given opportunities to learn with many amazing musicians and local artists. Specifically, she loved Clint Holmes and his wife. She made a lot of amazing friends in one week of camp and is looking forward to continuing classes through Positively Arts! I have seen so much growth in her performance since she started, specifically that she is now singing with emotion and passion. They truly are angels trying to save life's...and they do a damn good job!!! Last year alone, they saved over 600 dogs from being put down. People need to be more understanding about these dogs.
