Lost 3 items a year ago, including my husbands brand new suit! This is my mom's dry cleaner, so I put everything in my mom's name. Told my mom, and me ( we each went in and I called) that someone had picked it up. A year later we have a wedding so I decided to call one more time thinking there was no chance. I was extremely nice especially knowing that they misplaced my clothing. She didn't find anything in the system but called me back immediately and said she found them. I was extremely excited and again very nice. She said that half the items were paid for but I still owed $36! Again, I was still extremely nice and said no problem. Definitely should've argued, but I was just excited that they found my clothes . My mom went in to pick up my items and when she told her that they almost got rid of that items because we hadn't been there to pick them up for six months my mom was upset and argued with her over the matter. The lady did not apologize and still wanted my mom to pay $36 which my mom refused. She rudely told her to take her items and leave. She called me separately for I don't know what reason, to get her anger out. Still not apologizing and being extremely rude. I would not recommend anyone to go to this dry cleaners! I am not one to write a review, but this lady was so rude that I needed to share with everyone who is looking for a new dry cleaners. This place is no good! read more

I have used them for 20 years+ without any issues. I mostly just take collared shirts there to be dry cleaned and I'm never in a real hurry to get them back but nothing was ever lost or not cleaned properly. They took the time to run my very nice dresses that were once ruined with cat urine several times. They were able to get all the smell and stains out. I did go back a couple times to pick one specific dress up, however, they were very persistent in getting the smell out. They succeeded. Will come back and trust them with all my clothes. read more

I brought four winter coats in for cleaning and alterations to the sleeves and waist for a nice sport fit. The tailors did an outstanding job with the cleaning and alterations. At first I was concerned about the alterations because I've an athletic muscular physique, but once they let me try on the coats at their facility I was thoroughly impressed with the work. I tried them out and I had no issues. I definitely recommend them. The owner I met, was very friendly and thorough with my clothes. Explained everything precisely. I'm not sure why the other reviews had a bad experience. My clothes were all cleaned and the stains were removed! Since I go there so often, she knows me by name as well! I have (now had) used this cleaners for over 8 years. They typically had done a satisfactory job in laundering dress shirts and dry cleaning suits. I probably spent an average of $30 per month at this dry cleaners. Occasionally there was something not done correctly and they would 're-do' for no charge. Unfortunately in the past month of so, I got a newer shirt back ($60) that had a small discoloration on the front of the collar. I thought it might have been starch, as that sometimes does happen, so I took it back. They re-laundered it, but it was still there. It became evident that it was discolored/bleached by something. They informed me that there was NO WAY that this happened because of their service. I informed them that there was no discoloration on the shirt prior to it coming back from them... so we were at an impasse. The originally offered me $30 as compensation, but I said the shirt is at least a $40 shirt (Traveler, wrinkle free) - so I said I would look for my receipt. I could not find it, so when I came back I said I would take the $30. The woman at the counter then said she needed to check with her boss... on the phone.... she came back and said she could now only offer me $10 to $15. I said totally unacceptable. So, now in the market for a new cleaners - no way to treat a long term client. read more

New ownership has dropped a five-star cleaners to the one star rating. Not only did they ruin one of my wife's suits, but wanted to argue with me about it. Customer service used to be impeccable and is now mediocre, at best. In spite of convenience, will never be going back. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!! The taylor, Nika, who manages the cleaners had my wedding gown for a week to adjust my straps and remove pads only. The day before I was to pick up my dress I called to tell them my fiance would be picking up the dress. The counter girl on the phone told me my dress was not ready and was told to tell me to take the dress over to a shop near the Metra. She said Nika was sick and could not work on the dress. I was shocked to say the least. When I asked for the phone number and address for the place near the Metra she said she didn't know it. So, here I am thinking, Ok, she is sick and made arrangements for me to take the dress to someone she knows that is doing her a favor. No, not at all what I was thinking. She had no backup plan for getting the dress to me on time. I got no phone call either to tell me my dress was not going to be ready. I will spare you my grief about how I felt, just imagine. :-( read more
