I had a couple of other outrageous estimates and was needing it done soon as one of my additions had been sitting with just wrap on it for several months. Scott Miner came out gave me a very reasonable estimate and even being a busy time for them worked me in soon after. I could not have been more impressed by their installers talent and precision. Buyer beware. This…read morecompany doesn't just have poor customer service--they appear to retaliate against customers who leave honest negative reviews. We spent nearly $9,000 on a patio cover after explaining that durability was extremely important because we have large dogs. Nobody bothered to tell us the support posts were thin aluminum that dent incredibly easily. Nobody bothered to tell us the gutter opening was so small that it's nearly impossible to clean and is lined with sharp metal edges. When we first reported these issues years ago, we were essentially told, "Too bad." One owner even admitted the gutter design had been a known flaw for over 20 years. Twenty years. Yet they continue selling it without disclosing the issue to customers beforehand. Fast forward to this year. The gutter is still impossible to clean. Leaf blower? Doesn't work. Hose? Doesn't work. Pressure washer? Doesn't work. The only way to remove debris is by reaching into the tiny opening with your hands, which has resulted in my husband cutting himself multiple times on the sharp metal. Two months ago we called because the patio cover was still under warranty. We were told a work order would be submitted and someone would contact us. Nobody ever did. So today we called again. The first employee agreed that our gutter didn't sound right and told us it should have around 3 to 4 inches of clearance. He said he'd submit another work order. Less than ten minutes later, my husband got a call from management. Not to schedule the repair. Not to apologize. Not to honor the warranty. Instead, he was told they would NOT service our patio cover because I left an honest negative Google review years ago. Think about that for a second. Their response wasn't, "Let's make this right." It was, "You criticized us, so we're refusing to help you." That tells you everything you need to know about this company's integrity. They had multiple opportunities over the years to fix this issue, earn back our trust, and prove they stand behind their work. Instead, they chose pettiness over professionalism. A good company isn't defined by never making mistakes. It's defined by how it handles them. Kool Breeze has repeatedly shown that once they have your money, accountability goes out the window. Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of contractors who actually stand behind their work instead of punishing customers for telling the truth.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. The…read moreshort version: everyone involved was friendly, professional, enthusiastic and helpful. Everyone jumped through hoops to make a short-notice project 100% successful and stress-free. The cost was completely reasonable, especially given the abbreviated timeframe, and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with them. I would (and will) use them again, I will recommend them to everyone I know, and I hope everyone reading this will use them. So, my situation was this: I own a house in Kaysville that I rent out. It was vacant, and it was time to install carpet. Problem is, I live in Colorado and didn't have all the measurements, and would only be able to be in Kaysville for about 5 days. I called Johnson's on Friday, 10 June, and told them I would be in town 16-19 June. I let them know I had a video walkthrough of the house that might be able to give them a rough idea of the layout. I sent it to them. On Friday, and then again on Monday, they confirmed that they would absolutely be able to do this for me (I was more than a little worried only because another company had been saying for weeks they would be able to do it, and then on the 10th said they couldn't). On Tuesday I called to let them know I would actually be in town Wednesday the 15th, and they said I could come in and we could get started. Wednesday morning I went into the store for the first time, and the crew came out to measure. Long story short, by Wednesday night I had brand new, beautiful, professionally installed carpet throughout my entire house at a very, very reasonable price. The work crew was flexible and determined to get everything done that day and the office staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and flexible to find a carpet that would work and get it all completely resolved in a day. To review the timeline: Friday afternoon - first contact with Johnson via phone with huge request. Wednesday morning - first visit to office and initial house measurement. Wednesday night - Ta-da, everything is completely done to perfection, and Johnson's has a loyal customer for life.

The second project was a big rectangular pane of glass above our door. They were able to consult with us to see what would look best and the window looks amazing. For the third project I had already had another window company and a tile guy come and look and no one could figure out the problem with the bathroom window that was holding water and had no weep holes. Mo took a look and figured much less expensive and much better alternative than anyone else could. Mo was the one to come how to measure the windows and he also installed which made the process more seamless. He and Dallin were the installers and did a great job and problem solved along the way as needed. We would definitely use this company again.

I was assured it would, so I moved forward with the installation. Unfortunately, the tile beneath the glass door was not properly evaluated for slope, during the estimate or install it was completely missed and water has been flowing out of the shower every time it is used, resulting in damage to the baseboards. What has been even more frustrating is the lack of communication afterward. It has been over three weeks since the installation, and the owner, Andrew, has not returned my calls or personally made any effort to address the issue. Julia from the office has been the only person who has attempted to help, including arranging for an estimate to correct the tile, but I am still waiting for follow that's now has been days/week almost. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them afterward matters. Unfortunately, I have seen very little accountability or communication. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Northern Utah Glass to anybody! The owner has completely gone ghost and has had his office staff just create stories anytime there has been a call or if they even answered. It's going on 4 calls and a voicemail and text and yet to receive a solution or response!!
