Dr Bruderer is the best Optometrist I have seen in 20 years of eye doc visits. He knows his stuff and does a great job!

Highlight = Dr. Young…read more This is the best eye care exam I have ever received in Utah and maybe anywhere in my life. There's a doctor here who reminds me of Patch Adam's. He is kind and patient, treats his staff well (even if they failed to recognize his kind training queues ). He happens ta be rather funny as well. My children would be at home under his supervision. The blonde woman who first took care of me was amazing and the Hispanic(?) lady who helped me check out saved me by calling out before I could leave that I had forgotten my prescription paper I needed for my job. Did I ferget ta mention the front desk attendant was always smiling authentically and described the forms I had to provide for my first time visit with precision? The selection of eyewear looked like it'd be worth seeing and I plan to shop at this eye care center in the future because of the team working there.

He said the only downside was the extra cost, $450 to him and $895 to IHC hospital. We paid dr…read morepingree $450 x2 but the hospital is charging $2145.15x2. Dr pingree is taking no responsibility. IHC is reviewing it. It was supposed to take 7-10 days. Now it will take a month. Dr pingree said he'll just need readers. His far vision is reasonable but close vision is blurred. He syringe readers to read and a different strength readers to use the computer but with neither can he see the keyboard. So now he is back to multifocal glasses with clear glass in the top. Since he has to wear and buy multifocal glasses he may as well have fixed the astigmatism with the glasses. So it was a complete waste of money. It is not clear yet if the multifocal lenses will resolve all the new issues. We hope to get tge glasses. These astigmatism/torri. Lenses was a complete waste and we feel scammed

It's been a long time since I had my eyes checked and glasses were old. He was awesome at suggestions and options and nailed it for me. His staff is fantastic as well, from the young lady who checked me in to the excellent assistant who helped me order my glasses. Just a great appointment and they did not disappoint!!!

I just moved to the Salt Lake valley and needed a new optometrist for my old eyes. I chose Magna Family Eyecare because they have good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. They have great diagnostic equipment and can quickly test for all manner of eye related issues. There is a nice team of people handling the front desk. My doctor (Dr. White) was excellent and gave me a thorough checkup. He had some newer diagnostic techniques I haven't seen before. That helped me realize I was in the right place. They have a large selection of frames which is great! Sunglasses to. The office is situated in a modern building. I can whole-heartedly recommend Magna Family Eyecare. Cya there sometime!

So, I've had the distinct pleasure of working with Jodie, the proprietor/owner of East Millcreek…read moreEyewear for a long time now. I'm guessing well over ten (10) years, but she may know more accurately how long it's been. She is one of the very few folks that carry the line of product I really like. They are Kawasaki's with cable temples. At 65, I'm a super active guy, and the cable temples keep them from moving on/off my face when I am active. I am also EXTREMELY demanding and an ADHD perfectionist. Did not bother Jodie one bit; she was super confident in her ability to excel; especially with me being a remote customer out of the DFW area some 1,228 miles east of her office. I have travelled out to Utah on occasion, but never been able to stop by and meet her in person to thank her for her kindness & courtesy. By now, I've received about a dozen pairs of glasses from her with absolutely ZERO (0) issues. Does not seem like much, but the investment over the years has likely been north of $9K. Not cheap, but great value in my opinion. Quality is not a budget item. Plus, these always look like jewelry. They are just gorgeous. Can't thank Jodie enough. One day, I will stop by and surprise her... She is all about the efficient delivery of GREAT service to the customer. Feels more like a close friendship more so than a 'business transaction. Pro tip: If you stop by her East Millcreek location, head down to Provo and try out the Black Sheep Cafe. Stellar. If you are visiting from out of state, go visit the "Mighty Five". (I call it the Almighty Five, cause it's more like a religious experience in nature). Visiting Page AZ, the Slot Canyons and Horseshoe Bend, and Moab, lots of great parks out that way, both state & national. Will blow you away! If you like Bourbon, there is High West in Park City; they have a great restaurant. Enjoy! Thank you Jodie-

And the delightful Jodie did everything I could ask for to repair and rapidly return my glasses to me in what felt like no time. She even sped up her response to get the glasses fixed before a long 3-day weekend, which would have delayed getting to them even further. So, I'm very impressed with Jodie and her team. And she even went above and beyond to tighten up the hinges and replace my old temple tips with new ones, so the glasses came back looking like new, in a new case and cleaning cloth. In short, though I was 2,000 miles away, I felt like a first-class customer and highly recommend them.
