Excellent spot for affordable beer, food, pool, and juke box. Great staff. I would come back again.

Nickelcade was better than I expected. The arcade was generally clean and maintained. We had free…read moreadmission with the GetOutPass, which saved us some money, and we spent $20 on a card. Although I miss the jingle jangle of nickels in my pockets, the game cards are more convenient. Playing some of the retro games I remember from growing up was fun. My boys and I had a fun couple of hours at Nickelcade together.

There's a $3 entry fee, but it's waived if you pay for a reloadable card starting at $10. I got lost playing the nickel drop machine where you stick a nickel in and strategically drop it to push a stack of Nicole's off the platform. Your prize is tickets and not the nickels. You definitely have to swipe your card after each win since there's sneaky little kids that may try to swipe their card as they walk by. My boyfriend brought rubber gloves to wear and I didn't quite understand why until I touched a joystick playing ninja turtles. It's pretty gross and they should have more sanitizers around. The arcade games are a bit dated and not all of them em properly. The guy at the front desk is the only one here so it's hard for him to fix anything during business hours. Overall still very fun, but not something I can do on a regular basis. Great for kid's birthdays, cheap first dates, or place to burn 2 hours of fun for $20.

The party was in a shared party room and at first we were the only one. So it felt like a really intimate private event and we were able to play our music like we wanted to, and then toward the end of our party we had to share the space a little bit. But with the party package the hostess secured we received unlimited drinks from the fountain machine, pizza, and salad. They provided all of the dishes and cleaned up. The birthday child also received a giant card available to be signed by the guests. I don't know if this was just something that our hostess secured or if it's normally an option but she was also able to get passes with a $5 (or so) arcade card for $20 a person. The pass gave us access to unlimited activities and we could reload our arcade card if we wished. Of the activities that I recall are: Laser tag (So fun for adults and kids!), bumper cars, bumper boats, mini golf, bowling, rock climbing, and racing cars (I can't remember the actual name of it). We were not there for long enough to get to do anything more than once because we wanted to experience so much, then I bet if we went back and we went in at open we would be able to enjoy a lot. There's also a food area should you want to buy food or lunch while you are there. I don't know the rules on exiting and re-entering.

But loved the games they had, everything is just so expensive these days so we found it hard to justify a lot of items or activities. Still a fun and must do activity every year ! You have to purchase ride tickets separately, and most rides are between 4-10 tickets, with some of the bigger rides up to 15 tickets. There were a lot of really cool food places, but the prices for food were astronomical. We got a grilled cheese sandwich to split and it was $20. Most of the food prices were averaging $20 per item, and we looked at getting a boba and it was $12. We stopped by a cotton candy stand and some of the custom cotton candy items were up to $25. I genuinely don't understand how things were so expensive or how people are able to take large families here! It's so much money. We ended up spending $20 At McDonald's afterwards to feed the four of us. They had farm animals to pet, and we spent a lot of time there. I would recommend going to a show or the rodeo - that seemed to be fun. It was also fun to go in the evening and watch the sun go down/the lights of the rides turn on. Parking was also a mess - I would recommend taking the trax if you can. We lucked out with a close spot in the neighborhood. I'm not a crowds or rides person, so my review may be biased, but after our experience here I won't be back. It was fun to experience once, and the kids had fun, but I don't see a need to go again!
